And perhaps even witnessing an adorable toddler* frolicking around the shop? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to check out Bliss. Started by two sisters, this adorable boutique boasts fashionable, casual apparel and the carefully selected inventory includes both of-the-moment styles and classic pieces. As Megan M mentioned, it's not a huge shop but new items arrive all the time so I love visiting on a regular basis to check out what's new. The clothing leans towards the more casual side, but I've snagged everything from a French Connection striped tee (perfect for lounging around the house) to a Cooper by Courtney strapless silk dress (cocktail attire when paired with heels and jewelry). One of my favorite aspects of the shop is the absence of purchase pressure. Both sisters are super friendly and always make me feel welcome from the moment I enter the store. I often find items to purchase (sad wallet, happy closet), but when I don't I never feel awkward leaving empty-handed. This - coupled with the fantastic frocks - has made me a loyal customer and fan. Whenever I feel the need to shop (which, let's be real, is probably way more often than I should) and actually have a little dough to spend, Bliss is always on my list of boutiques to visit. *One of the owners has the cutest daughter who sometimes pops into the shop with her mom. That question was kind of a joke, but she's super cute and brings even more cheerfulness to the boutique.

You'll find designer denim, summer frocks, going-out tops and a nice selection of fashion tape, sweat guards and other fashionista must-haves. One of the young, stylish owners is usually in the store, and she's super friendly. She also sells a few pieces from local jeweler Fleur. The designer stuff skews toward high-end, meaning prices aren't cheap, but the items here are pretty unique. Brands you'll find may include Ella Moss, LA Made, Free People and French Connection. There's also usually a sale rounder in back with some good deals on designer duds.

Wardrobe is one of my absolute favorite boutiques in RVA!…read more The shop relocated from Gayton Crossings to Libbie and Grove over the summer, and I think it was a fantastic move. I was a fan of the shop before, but the new location is even brighter, larger, and closer to where I live, making it more convenient for an impromptu visit. Jessica, the owner, kept the same design elements and overall vibe of the space, which makes it feel like a seamless transition from the customer perspective. The shop feels very crisp, stylish, fashion-forward, and welcoming. The light-colored walls, ceiling, and furniture really allow the clothing and accessories to pop! Take one look at the shop and tell me it's not a place you'd like to peruse. I've scored dresses from Naven, Ali Ro, Rachel Pally, and Yoana Baraschi, denim from Citizens of Humanity, tops from Everly and Lovers and Friends, and fun accessories to round out the looks. Not only does the shop stock incredible wardrobe additions, but the personal customer service is top-notch. I'm not a fan of pushy sales associates, and Jessica (and her staff) is the farthest thing from that. She won't let you walk out of the store in something that doesn't flatter your figure, and I have never once felt pressure to make a purchase. If you're looking for a fashionable addition to your closet, or have an upcoming event and need an outfit or accessories, definitely check out Wardrobe!

Wardrobe is my absolute favorite boutique in Richmond because I always leave feeling amazing! Highly Recommend!

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's a little pricy for my tastes, but a lot of places are these days. It was a good experience with positive friendly service. The girl I was with couldn't be torn out of here, bought several items (paid too much for them - or rather I did, but she's worth it, and looks great in them)... lots of chatter with the employee. I wouldn't say it's a hipster clothing store, it's more of a fashion boutique with unusual stuff and things that really stand out. I don't know much about clothing but I know I really like this store, and I can't imagine Richmond having a better boutique-like place for women's clothing.

There were sign's everywhere saying to respect their store hours. I guess some customers don't leave fast enough which I'm shocked it's such a problem it warrants signs in every corner. I guess the employees can't wait to get home. Most small businesses are accommodating especially when sales are few. The store looks really dated and the selection is meh but it's really the snotty vibe that is a turn off. I'm shocked they are still open.

Not a sole in the entire store except her and another cashier/employee at two different lanes. Neither greeted me btw. I did though and then I asked for an item which I was alerted before I could finish that it wasn't in stock, and wasn't even an item sold there. I asked out of confusion, "why didn't your store sell them?" She replied because nobody wears them. Immediately I knew this employee had an issue, with something or someone probably herself because I'm somebody and I'm asking you for the item so apparently somebody where's them. Your comp right next door was outta of stock or they didn't have the sizes I needed. I was buying for my entire family. Maybe it's because I wasn't wearing her favorite color because she had red coloring all in her head that looked stank with clearly a stank sarcastic attitude to match. FYI if you are in the customer service business and you refuse to give good or choose rather poor customer service just get out of the business. Times is already bad economy wise. I'm spending money that definitely doesn't grow on trees. The last thing you want is not only for money to not come in, You also don't want people running your future sales away. It's ok maybe it's not for you. Businesses will continue to go out of business unless the management checks the employees bottom line, especially considering the times. There's someone else who needs a job but more importantly actually likes what they do. Not sure if I'll ever be back to shop here, unless desperate.
