A lot of their stuff makes incredible stocking stuffers (like their beaded earrings). During my shopping adventure here, I got three disco ornaments ($4 each!), a gorgeous vintage tea cup candle, and snowflake earrings. I collect tea cups and adore candles. I'm excited to use the candle and then use the tea cup later. The disco ornaments make my tree shine even more! As for the snowflake earrings, I love that I can wear these all winter. The beaded earrings come in really fun shapes like sushi, bride dresses, and champagne. Here you can find 20+ women owned artisan businesses under one roof. The energy is so wholesome and welcoming, and the owner is super sweet and does a great job curating the shop's offerings. I found myself in need of last-minute Christmas presents this past weekend, so I popped in. As I was about to check out, in a moment of pure embarrassment, a residual hacking fit from the plague I acquired around Thanksgiving started and of course I didn't have water with me. She referred me to cans of seltzer she had on the back table, which calmed it immediately. Thank you again so much. I repaid her by spending over $100 on goods haha. I live a block away from Nellie George, and after 3 years finally decided to pop in. I've never…read moreseen such a collection of garish, uncomfortable clothes in my life. There was not one thing I would put on my body and it seems as if the buyers were trying to find the most unflattering dresses possible. Who is their target customer? While price isn't an issue for me, I didn't bother to look at the prices because I didn't like anything. I guess if you pay $500 for an ugly dress, the price makes it less ugly? On the bright side,their new location across the street on Grove is spacious and inviting. I've often wondered why they don't put a sign up with the name of their store. I guess they have dedicated clientele who don't need a sign. I walk by the store every day, but will not be back.
