If you're coming to the outlets for shoes, this is a great place to start before jumping from store to store. Prices are really good here and they often have some sort of BOGO deal going on on top of the lower prices. Staff is friendly. One employee, Lora, said, "I hope one of them falls," not realizing I was their mother and could hear her. That was extremely inappropriate and upsetting. If my children were being too loud or running too much, she could have simply asked me to have them stop. But wishing for a child to fall and possibly hurt themselves simply because they are laughing and having fun is completely unacceptable. Very disappointing behavior from someone representing Nike. I hope management addresses this.

I am on my feet for 12 hours a day for work with heavy lifting, and as I'm breaking them in now I'm thanking Edward with every step my happy little feet are taking. Breaking them in has been painless, and so comfortable!!! Second note, they didn't have my size in the store (literally the only size they didnt have, their stock is still good!) so I patiently waited about 5 business days for them to arrive at my doorstep but it was so worth it!!!! These are my second pair of work shoes I've bought from Edward because he really knows his stuff. It's a great place to at least dip your toes in first. Staff is fine. They're often only around when you seek them out. They're not trying to avoid helping, but the store is often bare bones so the staff need to be busy operating the registers and other things vs roaming around looking to help customers. Prices are great though. So if you find something you like, don't hesitate to pick them up. Chances are you either won't find the same thing in the area or, if you do, for the same price.

I initially requested access to a fitting room to try on a pair of pants. After waiting approximately five minutes with no one coming to unlock the fitting room, I finally walked away. I approached the manager again and explained that no one had come to assist me, despite her previously stating she would send someone over. Rather than apologizing, addressing the issue or offering to help, she simply stared at me without any response. I then brought my experience to the cashier's attention, hoping someone would at least acknowledge the poor service. Instead, I received another blank stare followed by an excuse about staffing levels. What I found most frustrating was that neither the manager nor the cashier made any effort to resolve the situation. Neither offered to open a fitting room, find someone to assist me or even acknowledge my frustration. I understand businesses can experience staffing shortages but being understaffed is not an excuse for being dismissive or showing a complete lack of concern for customers. Customer service is about making an effort, communicating, and treating people with respect, even when things are busy. The most disappointing part was the manager's response. Management should set the standard for customer service, not contribute to the problem through indifference. I walked into Boot Barn ready to spend money, which I've spend thousands at and left feeling as though my business was neither wanted nor appreciated. This was an incredibly poor reflection of the store's leadership and customer service standards. Boot Barn should expect better from the employees representing its brand, especially those in management. I'll be taking all mine and all my families business to the Warf in Ventura where they pride themselves on customer service.

When I returned to the store to process a return, the experience was disappointing. The associate inspected the pants, smelled them, and stated they had been washed, then refused the return. This was both uncomfortable and frustrating, especially since the items were simply tried on for fit at home and not worn. I understand that stores have policies in place, but the handling of this situation felt unnecessarily dismissive. A more professional and customer-focused approach would have gone a long way. Most customers won't take the time to leave a review--they'll simply choose not to return. With so many convenient online options available, in-store experiences need to justify the trip. Unfortunately, this one did not. Service with a smirk has never worked for me..
