This was my first time buying Skechers. I did some research online before I went. I must say the 3 staff members were all friendly but, they didn't seem to know Anything about shoes. They only seemed to know about sales. I guess since this is an outlet store, Skechers doesn't teach the staff about shoes? Not sure. I miss the old shoe stores where the sales people actually new some things about shoes. This store is basically a Do-It-Yourself store like Home Depot. So, if you already know exactly what shoes you want, this is a nice store. If you need help picking out a shoe, this might not be the place. read more

No customer service at all. No help finding anything. After an hour of looking through everything to find womens size 11 (which they said they didnt carry) i took my 2 pairs of size 11s up to the register. A guy at the register said they couldnt honor the coupon i received by email when I signed up for a skechersplus membership. No explanation. Just walked away. So i paid my bill and walked away too. When I was paying didn't smile, didn't acknowledge my presence couldn't care less about her customer, started sneezing, just kept scanning the shoes and I asked about the 50% off she just said in an irritated tone, they are not because they are slip ons. Called the store before I dropped in. Just because I have a toddler and it's hard shopping. So I called in to see if they had a specific shoe in stock. Some girl answered and said "how can I help you" I asked her "Can you check if you have a specific shoe in stock?" Her answer "yes as long as you have the style number" so I told her "yes I have it" she said "please hold" I waited 20 min for her to never come back and the phone hung up. I GET IT, EVERYONE IS SHORT STAFF! But tell the customer that. This is a proper answer: "of course I can help you, but at the moment we are a bit short staff and I can call you back once I'm available, is that okay?" Or come back to the phone and say "I haven't forgot about you, do you mind holding a little longer? I do apologize for the hold." But leaving someone on hold for so long is very unacceptable! Stopped at this store on August 23rd 2021. I normally shop on-line and take advantage of my reward points. I decided to go to the store so I could see the shoes up close and try them on to make sure they fit correct. When it came time to check out I was having a terrible time using phone to reveal my reward money to apply to my sale. My glasses kept fogging up because of my mask. Well lucky for me the store manager "Viri" helped me. Not only is she super nice , she was able to bring up my account on my phone to apply my discount. I came here with my husband just to look for some shoes, although I am not a big fan of Skechers. This store offers pretty low prices for Skechers over the ones you would find at regular stores. They always have their buy 1 get a 2nd pair half off sale. I like that they have a good selection and amount in their wide shoes section because sometimes some of their shoes can run a bit more narrow than other brand shoes that I own. They also have a little section for employee shoes as well. Service here isn't overly friendly but not horrible either. Sometimes it can be rather difficult to find an employee around the floors, so they are pretty understaffed. Overall, worth looking if you are in need of shoes and find Skechers to be acceptable. By the way, there is plenty of parking in the lot and easy to find. read more

Sometimes it is a bit difficult to find the correct size, but there are so many styles, it has been pretty easy for us to find another style in the correct size. If you like Skechers, this is a great place to save money. They usually have a deal for 50% off the second pair, and the selection is decent. Please note this is not Nordstrom - it's an outlet in Azusa. Find a shoe you like and the available sizes are underneath. I don't expect much service here, although recently there was one girl who was all smiles and super friendly and helpful. Key points: 1) Good prices. I got a pair of shoes for about $40 and the second half off at $20. In comparison, many of the far-away outlet malls where I used to get shoes at $40 now sell shoes from $80-$140, which is way out of my price range. 2) Close by and no crowds. I don't like real outlet malls where it's a two hour drive and always a mad house. This feels like a typical shoe store, and it's on the way to Costco. 3) New styles. I liked Skechers for a time, and then I didn't like any of their designs. And now they look nice again - their current thing is light and comfy memory foam inserts in their shoes. read more

This is a store with large selection. In recent years, Sketchers has developed an excellent line of quality running shoes. Top athlete's are racing and winning in them---not that I am a competitor but I am a long distance runner.. I am turning flips at the GoRide 4 models I got at a 2nd pair price of about $23. Guys, these shoes are good enough to run full marathons in. Most quality running shoes will be at least $115. The GoRide 5 is out so they are clearing the GoRide 4's which were marked down from $85 to $45 to $23 with my discount when I bought a pair of work shoes. Amazing good deal! Now about the service, since a number of bad comments are being made. I admit, you are left alone to look at the shoes and pick out what you want. However, a man named Jose called over to me after a few minutes to ask if I had any questions. 1st off I was in the ladies section and didn't notice it. Ha! He steered me to the right place and offered any help I needed. The cashiering section as you buy your shoes is very friendly and they don't feel phony about it. Bought a couple pairs of shoes at the Spectrum store. After a month one pair the shoe separated from the sole. Brought it back to the store and the manager said was a defect. I didn't have my CC receipt and they couldn't look it up She said I would need to call Corp. SKECHERS is a large company. Try to get someone other than customer services. They don't answer the phone. Finally they said to send the shoes to them so they could check them out. It would take 2 weeks. This is instead of authorizing the store to make the determination and either replace or reject Wouldn't do it. I will never buy another pair of Skechers. Poor quality and poor customer service. They had a wide selection for slightly low prices, at the time of my going in they were having a Buy 1, Get 1 50% off deal, so I got my son two pairs of shoes and my husband a pair of boots he can work in the yard in. I have been coming to this Skechers for years and usually I am greeted as I walk in the door and asked if I need help when I shop. Today I walked in and was in the store for 15 min and had 3 employees walk by me and never even acknowledge that I was there. They are all busy stocking shoes on shelves and interacting with each other but could have cared less that I was in there as I walked in and out of the rows. This outlet store has been here forever and they always have buy one pair get another pair 50% off. Thanks to this outlet store, I had never pay a full price for a pair of Sketchers. They are reasonable priced and very comfortable especially the memory foam line. This store has a great selection and you can walk down the very wide aisles to shop. The sizes you want are most likely just under the sample size shoes. It can be a bit messy at times due to other customers, but I never had a problem finding a worker to help me look for shoes. On this recent visit, they were out of my size/color that I want but advise I can buy it now and exchange at their El Monte location on Valley. I was happy to find out there's another Sketchers outlet nearby. Parking is plentiful here, and I love how it's not a real outlet mall so you don't have to fight with the crazy crowds.
