I'm a master gardener and am pretty picky about who I hire. Most work i just enjoy doing myself but after a couple of injuries recently I was not up to Ivy removal. Hugo and his partner cleared some really dense, deep ivy for me and did a fantastic job! They dug all the roots out, removed all the debris and cut a nice edge so it will look nice until I can have them back to do more. I found Hugo driving by the slope of the ivy job mentioned in another review. I could tell they were the guys for my job given the dense ivy and how great a job they were doing on that removal, plus Hugo is just the sweetest and friendliest guy when I stopped in the street and when we talked during the estimate he gave me. We live in the hills of south Eugene and in order to reduce our fire danger I asked a Fire Marshall to recommend what needed to be done to create a defensible space around our home. Hugo Bravo and the crew of SKB Yard Care did an excellent job of trimming the overhanging fir tree branches that were near the house and deck areas and clearing the small trees, bushes and blackberries from the perimeter. They worked quickly and efficiently and spread a layer of mulch on the hillsides to prevent erosion when they were finished. I noticed Hugo cleaning up my neighbors yard, and also going into my yard and cleaning up my unsightly weeds. I went to thank Hugo and ask him for a quote on a few of my unkempt shrubs. Hugo offered a fair price and when I mentioned it was a bit too pricey for me Hugo gave me his reasoning for the price as well as offering ways to reduce the price ex: I dispose of clippings. Hugo had no issues with the check I used for payment even though I'm a first time customer, and most importantly, the shrubs look amazing!
