I called OregonScapes to get a quote on trimming a tall and wide Laurel hedge and cut back a tall cherry tree to a manageable height. Freddy came out promptly to work up a quote, was knowledgeable and professional, and I accepted the quote. The crew came out only a few days later and did a very good job - exactly what I asked them to do, and I'm real nitpicky. When they had a question, they came and asked me instead of just deciding on their own what to do without asking. Best of all, Freddy, the crew and the office person were all proactive communicators, something that's hard to find for some reason. I'll be calling them again and I recommend them for sure. read more

My previous landscaper left me in the lurch when they failed to come for their regular maintenance and texted me the day before to say they've sold and no longer were operating. I jumped on yelp because my lawn was overdue. Freddy got in touch with me in under 10 minutes, came out an hour later for an estimate and came back 3 hours later to take care of my lawn. AND their prices are very competitive. read more

Way too expensive. Twice as much as any other bid. He's a nice guy, but his bid was completely ridiculous.

Freddy and his crew helped us clean up the yard of our new house purchase. They cut back bushes, trimmed trees, and pulled up blackberries. The work was done quickly and professionally, and they provided great value for money. Would definitely recommend for yard projects big and small, and I will definitely use them again myself. read more

I have appreciated the work the crew has accomplished in my yard. They are hard workers and the yard always looks good when they leave.

We had three stumps removed. Freddy did an excellent job and gave us extremely fair pricing. Would recommend!

I'm happy to say that this company saved the day. In order to find septic tank overgrown blackberries had to be removed and we had over 80 feet of blackberries. They finished the job in record time, leaving the area free of debris, went above and beyond what was necessary and included doing our roof, gutters, yard clean up and hauling of garbage/yard debris. We are using them year round to keep blackberries under control in addition to noxious vines. Good company, good workers and reasonable prices!!! read more

I have never hired out for full yard maintenance, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was given a bid on a Thursday; the work was done that weekend! I thought the price was quite reasonable (less than expected) and the work that was done is amazing!! Very professional, very thorough. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely continue to use them for maintenance. Our yard looks the best it's been since we moved in 20 years ago. :-) read more

We have been using red axe for the last couple of years, we are really happy with the service we have received from Fredi the owner. It's great that he's just a call away, he has been able to help us with really short notice: we will keep using them and I recommend you give them a call the next time you need positive change read more

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who used Red Axe on Nov. 3rd 2016. They had a very large tree that fell down and took another tree with it. It damaged the garage and covered the driveway. My mother panicked and asked a friend who they recommended for tree removal. They recommended Red Axe. When she called and explained the situation, even though he was busy with other projects, Freddie came right over. He calmed my parents down, immediately assessed the situation and started working on it the same day. It took them 3 full days to remove the 2 trees. They worked full days and left the driveway looking as if nothing had happened. Lastly they even took pictures of all the damage so my parents could send them to the insurance company. Needless to say they were extremely pleased with their service and would not hesitate to call them again if another tree falls on their property. read more

Freddie and crew do an awesome and efficient job at lawn care. Great rates.

Responded quickly and kept me updated well. Good quote and excellent job, attention to detail and super happy with the result!

Professional crew with integrity! We are so happy with their work and our yard looks beautiful! Freddy also took the time to help us work out a plan to transition our yard into our vision, but haven't had the time or knowledge to execute ourselves. I am so impressed that I have added this business to my vetted list of vendors/services for my clients. Glad my yard care search is over!! read more

UNRELIABLE - - - My husband contacted and met with Freddy for service at our home in San Carlos. We set an appointment time and expected the contract in our email and received nothing. To our surprise they did not show up to the "set" appointment they agreed upon during their survey visit. My husband had to take time off of work to do the landscaping maintenance himself prior to family arriving for the holidays. I recommend looking ELSEWHERE for reliable gardening services. read more

I had three 30' tall trees removed next to my house, in a fairly small area. Freddy is marvelous and so knowledgeable and helpful. They removed the trees, ground out the stumps and spread the ground stump wood around where I wanted ground cover. They did all this in ONE day without any damage to my stonework or house. They also were half the price of everyone else - and are licensed and insured. I don't think you can go wrong here - I have recommended them many times. read more
