I called OregonScapes to get a quote on trimming a tall and wide Laurel hedge and cut back a tall cherry tree to a manageable height. Freddy came out promptly to work up a quote, was knowledgeable and professional, and I accepted the quote. The crew came out only a few days later and did a very good job - exactly what I asked them to do, and I'm real nitpicky. I'm happy to say that this company saved the day. In order to find septic tank overgrown blackberries had to be removed and we had over 80 feet of blackberries. They finished the job in record time, leaving the area free of debris, went above and beyond what was necessary and included doing our roof, gutters, yard clean up and hauling of garbage/yard debris. We are using them year round to keep blackberries under control in addition to noxious vines. Good company, good workers and reasonable prices!!! read more

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who used Red Axe on Nov. 3rd 2016. They had a very large tree that fell down and took another tree with it. It damaged the garage and covered the driveway. My mother panicked and asked a friend who they recommended for tree removal. They recommended Red Axe. When she called and explained the situation, even though he was busy with other projects, Freddie came right over. He calmed my parents down, immediately assessed the situation and started working on it the same day. It took them 3 full days to remove the 2 trees. They worked full days and left the driveway looking as if nothing had happened. Lastly they even took pictures of all the damage so my parents could send them to the insurance company. Needless to say they were extremely pleased with their service and would not hesitate to call them again if another tree falls on their property. read more

UNRELIABLE - - - My husband contacted and met with Freddy for service at our home in San Carlos. We set an appointment time and expected the contract in our email and received nothing. To our surprise they did not show up to the "set" appointment they agreed upon during their survey visit. I had three 30' tall trees removed next to my house, in a fairly small area. Freddy is marvelous and so knowledgeable and helpful. They removed the trees, ground out the stumps and spread the ground stump wood around where I wanted ground cover. They did all this in ONE day without any damage to my stonework or house.
