They took special care and time to prevent damage to any of the out buildings, thus keeping the neighbor happy as well. I contacted a couple tree service providers, Devin (A-1 Ron's) was the only company to respond. He came by to evaluate my request. I had a white oak tree that was growing over my neighbor's yard. It required extreme skill to climb a tree that was growing more horizontal than vertical. He assured me it could be done without causing damage to my neighbor's property. I also had a few branches growing over my roof that looked ominous. Again, no problem he assured me. His estimate was given before he left, which was very fair. He scheduled me more than a month out due to his work commitments. Surprisingly, he called to see if he could fit me in earlier than promised. His crew arrived as agreed (8am) and got to work. All the work was completed before noon. They left my property pristine. My neighbor even came out to compliment them on their skill and professionalism. Job list: - Remove birch tree. - Remove small leaning tree encroaching on fence and neighbor's yard - Prune two plum trees and an elderberry tree. - Remove scraggly young plum tree coming up next to the main one - Remove 15ft tall 2.5' diameter base dead oak tree half cut down and left behind by a previous tree guy (who removed all the branches for safety reasons earlier this winter. but left the ugly large tree trunk just standing there lopped off at the top). Two weeks A-1 Ron & crew shows up on the agreed day and time, well-equipped, and gets right to work. Efficient, quick and a tight group. No fuss. They just got to it. Done in two hours. These guys are great ! They removed our Austrian Spruce, cleaned up better than we deserved AND didn't even hurt any peaches on our peach tree, ( which was too close to the spruce). And the cost ??? They beat everyone else. He has a great group of guys that didn't miss a beat. I just feel sorry for all of the pitch from the tree he has to clean out of his beard ... Had a oak tree that was volunteer from squirrels close to a fence line that started lifting the fence and neighbors sprinkler system. Had A-1 Ron's come remove and grind. They removed the fence apart and took the tree. When they left it was so clean you wouldn't have known the tree was there. The fence was also put back together.
