My pizza took an hour while i was starving, also why does making a small starry take 8 minutes, other than that it was fun. i didn't order nachos, wrong order.

I had such a great time last night. The managers are very professional. Also, the DJ was amazing for the adult night on Saturday 10 PM- 12 AM. My husband and I are from Louisiana and trying to keep skating alive! We bring our own Harlick Roller Skates made in California, USA. For the past 10+ years we have made it our goal to skate in each state! We love to JAM, slow walk, free style, and couple dance skate on Adult Skate Night. Also, I enjoy a smooth hard wood floor to jump and dance skate on. This skate floor is not wood. I am not sure what this floor is made from. It is a white hard floor. I was surprised but the floor was exceptional for dancing. Though it was a very busy night the positive groove was intoxicating. The crew here is talented and amazing. The service was great at the food counter. The floor was huge and many smiley skaters. We enjoyed the snack bar ($5 for 2 pepperoni pizzas and a coke). The Denver area is my favorite place to skate in AMERICA. I would return soon to this rink.

We wait 10+ minutes for that damn pretzel. Guess I had time to clean the table.

Skate City feels like a worn down Chuck E. Cheese. I get that their is not a lot of money floating around the rink industry, but this place is by far the busiest in our area. If anyone should be able to give a good experience, it's them! Skate Rental: sometimes you don't have a choice, you have to rent skates. A couple things in mind. 1: Look at the inside bottom of the shoe. Do you see bolt heads? You can either choose to bring your own inserts, or request a pair that isn't showing them. 2: Laces! Don't accept a pair of broken, mid matched laces. There is a good chance that the will not reach the top of the skate, or just snap on you. 3: actively monitored. The gall that was supposed to be watching the skate booth was hanging out behind the kitchen. I had to go get her as a line was building. Staff: the staff needs to actually care. They should be wandering the floor, checking up on the skaters, giving tips, etc... Clean!: the place is nasty! Even some Clorox wipes would go a long way. The bathrooms are especially bad! Kitchen: when I order a pretzel, it should come right out. I had to wait 10+ minutes because they gave my pretzel to someone else. Every seems to be microwaved at some. Simple Slushes? 3-4 minutes. How is the even possible. The kitchen employees drew the short straw for the day and it shows. Funky Floors: there is not much that can be done here. Getting to the food area has a gentle slope. The bathrooms are bowl shapes. I've watched confidant skaters take a spill in the bathrooms only to come out timid. We have other places that we, but in a pinch, Skate City is 5 minutes away from our home. We'll keep going as a last ditch option.

    Best birthday party ever!

I've been here a couple of times and you'd better believe I will be back (sooner than later). Growing up I loved skating with friends and this was a very welcome blast from the past. I do want to note that the parking lot is spacious and the location is not difficult to find. Most recently I celebrated my birthday here and had an amazing time. There was a choice of in-line skates or traditional trad skates (most of us went for the trads). There were lots of places to sit and relax or put on/take off your skates. Lockers were also available for stowing away your valuables (quarter machine is near to the counter selling glow necklaces and candy). Top 20 music was bumpin' and we enjoyed taking part in the different games/themes (backwards skate only, ladies only, couples only). Although there were a lot of younger folks skating I felt they were respectful and skating safely. There is a food counter which features things like pizza and soda. I didn't take part but was happy to know there was food nearby if I developed a hankering. Overall a very fun and memorable evening , not to mention I don't think anyone spent more than $8.

I really appreciate how the rink is set up. The center is clearly marked off, which helps keep people practicing doing middle work from drifting into the main traffic flow. It makes the whole floor feel more organized and safer for everyone. The rink itself feels like it's on the larger side, so there's plenty of room to skate without feeling cramped. Adult nights are especially fun. They lean more into electro and dance music, which keeps the energy up. Pricing is reasonable, and I love seeing how they give back to the community. The last time I was there, they were collecting food donations for a local pantry, which says a lot about the kind of business they are. There's also a back room with video games and a smaller practice space that's separate from the main floor, which is a huge plus if you want to work on something. Around the rink, there's plenty of seating for breaks, with storage cubbies underneath, which is super convenient. Overall, it's a really solid rink with a great atmosphere and a strong sense of community. Definitely worth checking out, especially for adult night.

A group of six of us went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was crowded, but we didn't have to wait long to get our skates. The way it works is that the ice skating rink is free, but you have to pay to rent skates. If you own your own skates, then, the experience is completely free! To rent skates, you wait outside in front of a little booth and get a wrist and then go to the window next to that one and say which size you'd like. Despite the rink being crowded, the wait for skates was very short. Service was friendly and efficient. The skates weren't the highest quality, and they use ski boot like buckles rather than laces, but I can't complain given the convenience and price. The ice rink gets smoothed over/cleaned using a Zamboni every so often, and when that happens, you can stand by fire pit stands (I'm not sure what they're called?) or sit on the benches right outside the rink. We stayed for about an hour and a half to two hours and had a good time. This is a great activity for families and friends alike!

There are several things working against this ice rink…read more.. 1. It is in direct sunlight all day so it is quite often closed as the ice has largely melted. Even when open, there are cones on portions of the ice that are not safe to skate on. 2. You can only register to skate via a webpage/app...you cannot walk up and pay to skate. This is inconvenient if you're out in Erie without your phone and were hoping to skate. Even with your phone, the registration process away from a computer is tedious. 3. There doesn't appear to be a cap on the number of registrations taken for any day. This leads to the rink typically being very crowded and honestly dangerous. If they would implement registrations by time slot and then limit the number of registration per slot, this could easily be avoided. 4. There is no supervision of the rink itself. There is a small hut manned by a one person who checks reservations and hands out skates but nobody watching the rink itself. We've been unfortunate to have to deal with large groups of unsupervisord children and pre-teens that were dropped off and left to go wild. 5. There are no refunds issued for any reason. We've been unable to make use of a paid reservation due to the rink being closed because of the weather. We've been unable to make use of a paid reservation when a group decided to have their birthday party there and there was no room left for anyone else to skate.
