Played here years ago for a big hockey tourney, but haven't been back on the ice here since, so this is just a quick objective review of the facility. It's a huge facility with 3 rinks, pro shop, snack bar, and a nice full bar and grill (Bender's) connected to it. Would love to come here with my gear next time I'm in town for business for some pickup time if I can manage it. But public skate is just $6, with a $1 discount if you're a local.

If your friends happen to be playing in the Green rink, you can actually sit in the bar and watch the game from there.

This was a fun little outing in downtown Denver, right off the 16th street mall. The string lights…read moreand decorations (which aren't super visible in my photo) make this a very cute rink. A group of six of us went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was crowded, but we didn't have to wait long to get our skates. The way it works is that the ice skating rink is free, but you have to pay to rent skates. If you own your own skates, then, the experience is completely free! To rent skates, you wait outside in front of a little booth and get a wrist and then go to the window next to that one and say which size you'd like. Despite the rink being crowded, the wait for skates was very short. Service was friendly and efficient. The skates weren't the highest quality, and they use ski boot like buckles rather than laces, but I can't complain given the convenience and price. The ice rink gets smoothed over/cleaned using a Zamboni every so often, and when that happens, you can stand by fire pit stands (I'm not sure what they're called?) or sit on the benches right outside the rink. We stayed for about an hour and a half to two hours and had a good time. This is a great activity for families and friends alike!

Very small but quaint rink! brought my granddaughters one of which takes ice skating lessons and…read morethe other is a newbie, they both had a great time.....rink was not overrun by people, so they were able to enjoy themselves. I loved that it's outdoors and centrally located....Parking was the issue, but worth the walk.
