Terrible club. Poorly run club with bad coaching all around. At the highest level, there have been…read moreterrible coaches assigned. One team was given a parent coach at the GA level, an unqualified parent coach who caused over half the team to leave the club. Many of the coaches were just lazy and didn't care about the players. There were also coaches who were fired and Broomfield did not have a sufficient plan to replace them! Some teams shared coaches where one team was clearly favorited and given a lot more time and effort. If you don't want excessively obvious favoritism, Broomfield is not the place. At this club your kid is just a dollar sign running around and they don't actually care about your player. Developmentally weak. Did not teach technical skills or soccer IQ. When it comes to recruiting this club is also very poor, while it may look like it has a lot of commits, the coaches rarely have contribution to that and it's a lot on the players. On the girls side they are apart of Girls Academy, but rarely actually participate in the Girls Academy community whether through representatives, (nonsoccer) events, or general culture. Doesn't treat referees or others with respect often and is overall a disrespectful program. Do not waste your time at this club! Go to Rush, Rapids or Real! They know how to develop players better and they have much better recruiting networks than Broomfield.

Killed my daughter's love for the sport at the age of 7. What more can I say?…read more Observing the "All Star Team," coaches had favorites that they had already worked with before, anyone who was new to the team were placed in their own group, not given attention, and eventually left to do cartwheels while waiting for direction. (these are seven year olds so I have no idea when or how other training occurred) This was free and invite only so I shrugged it off as bad sportsmanship and then began looking into other local leagues that maybe didn't have this culture. But first I wanted to give Broomfield one more chance so I signed my daughter up for indoor soccer. After paying $150 for indoor training during the winter, same situation. The haves and the have nots were separated, coaches gave special attention to the kids they knew, called them by name, gave them direction etc and the girls they did no know where left mostly alone. One poor girl was left in the goaly position quietly yelling to be switched out but was ignored as the other kids played far away from her. She was never subbed out so spent the entire time alone in goalie never learning any skills. Interested to see that parent's Yelp review. After this experience, my daughter refuses to play soccer ever again. I am so sad as she loves the sport and is very skilled for someone who has never been coached even after I paid $150 for four sessions of training. On top of the general poor sportsmanship and inability to meet kids' needs, this club is horribly disorganized, lacks in communication, and feels chaotic. For my son, we plan to start him in Rapids asap as they train all kids not just the ones that started playing with the club at age 4 and showed extra aggression and the promise to maybe keep the reputation of farming out Division 1 college athletes. If that's your goal, maybe reach out to the owners of this club and I don't know what happens after that to ensure your child gets attention during paid for training camps. Without that secret "in," your child will be left in by goal posts, alone with no coaching, wishing someone would help. Overall disappointed in mostly myself for not moving to Rapids when my gut told me to. (There is one absolutely fantastic coach who played professionally and coaches all children best she can. Hoping she moves to rapids soon too)
