A female player was hit hard in the head. She was visibly wobbly and holding her head, and although she said she was "OK," proper concussion protocol requires that any player with a head injury come out immediately. The game continued with no intervention, which was unsafe and unacceptable. I didn't have fun and regret spending my time here. I felt unsafe and unwelcome, and I will not be returning. Recreational sports should prioritize safety, enforce equipment rules, and ensure referees stop play when injuries occur.

We belonged to a club that cost a lot more than SVFC and began competitive as U8 with out of state travel 4 times a year. So, I understand the cost of competitive and appreciate the club offering rec play. In response to the 2 star review, i know families involved with being cut because of there not being enough players , teams with too many players and teams with just enough. The club can't help it if a family does say they will play and commit to a team then back out at the last minute leaving a team sparse. We have joined stvrain because of the kids and parents. We were not sure where we would play when we moved to the state but quickly found something great in a small town.

Terrible club. Poorly run club with bad coaching all around. At the highest level, there have been…read moreterrible coaches assigned. One team was given a parent coach at the GA level, an unqualified parent coach who caused over half the team to leave the club. Many of the coaches were just lazy and didn't care about the players. There were also coaches who were fired and Broomfield did not have a sufficient plan to replace them! Some teams shared coaches where one team was clearly favorited and given a lot more time and effort. If you don't want excessively obvious favoritism, Broomfield is not the place. At this club your kid is just a dollar sign running around and they don't actually care about your player. Developmentally weak. Did not teach technical skills or soccer IQ. When it comes to recruiting this club is also very poor, while it may look like it has a lot of commits, the coaches rarely have contribution to that and it's a lot on the players. On the girls side they are apart of Girls Academy, but rarely actually participate in the Girls Academy community whether through representatives, (nonsoccer) events, or general culture. Doesn't treat referees or others with respect often and is overall a disrespectful program. Do not waste your time at this club! Go to Rush, Rapids or Real! They know how to develop players better and they have much better recruiting networks than Broomfield.

Per the Broomfield soccer website it says we were to get three. Also,, Broomfield junior academy charges almost twice as much as other Junior Academy Programs. In addition, the coaching was extremely poor. The coach rarely showed up to practices or games. If she did show , she sat in a lounging position on the sidelines away from the players. . The coach also gave very little input to our seven year-old players who had never played competitive soccer before. When we brought up our concerns, we were told that if you don't like it "leave "or "we should try coaching soccer ourselves'. ----Very immature responses. I have been associated with soccer clubs before and have never experienced such unprofessional coaches and management. We left mid year. I would avoid joining the Broomfield Junior Soccer Academy program.
