You can use large parking lots on either side of the lake. I've only been inside to vote, but they have a large gym and other rec center things. Nice tennis courts to the east side. And a huge frisbee golf course! South, you get a large lake full of nature. I love the pathways around the area. There's a ton of birds, I've seen Comorant there! The lakes provide a beautiful mirror reflection of Bear Peak and Green Mtn. It's quite stunning on a still day, even better for a sunrise or sunset. It's a very level path and paved around. A beautiful bridge compliments the scene. This is definitely a hidden gem in Boulder!

There is a common lack of respect for the game of golf with little help from management; teenagers riding carts at high speed for one. Highly recommend, amazing kid amenities at the restaurant (kids eat free Tuesdays!! Buffet!!) excellent social value. Just be prepared to play with folks who learned golf etiquette from Tiger Woods.
