I love coming in almost every morning to take classes and always being greeted by Mary, Bridgette or Sue with a smile on their face and happy to do the workout with you. It really gives you that incentive to work harder. Now if we can just get the new management to really show they care and are there to make the club better. it would be the best club in Boulder. Nice gym overall. It runs about $240/month per person, but the place is clean, the equipment is…read moremaintained, and it's usually not too busy, so you're not fighting for machines. They have 9 pickleball courts on the roof, which is awesome in theory. The catch: it gets pretty windy up there, so realistically only about 2 of the courts (indoors) get used regularly, which makes reservations tough to snag. Open play is a lot of fun though, so if you can get in, it's a great time. One honest gripe: It feels like they turn the AC to the lowest setting and it gets quite hot when you work out. Sometimes it feels even cooler outside than it is in the gym. You'd think this gym would be well air conditioned. Other than that, it's a clean, well-run gym. Recommend, especially if you're into pickleball!

We have been long-term Life Time members, and the condition of the outdoor pool at Flatirons this…read moresummer has been incredibly disappointing. The pool itself is consistently dirty--dead bugs, leaves, dirt, and even trash in the water. There is regularly a visible sheen of sunscreen and grime collected around the edge of the pool, which is absolutely disgusting. The pool deck isn't much better, with trash left around and even chewed-up gum on the ground. On top of that, the wasp problem is out of control. There are so many wasps around the pool that people are getting stung, and the apparent solution is to have pool deck employees walk around with cans of Raid spraying them. That is not an appropriate or reassuring solution for a family pool area where people are walking around barefoot and children are playing. At the beginning of the summer, I assumed we had just caught the pool on a bad day. After seeing the same conditions repeatedly all summer, it's clear this isn't a fluke--it seems to be the standard state of the pool area. For the membership prices Life Time charges, members should absolutely be able to expect a clean, sanitary, and properly maintained pool and deck. As long-term members, we expect significantly better and are genuinely disgusted and disappointed by the way this area is being maintained.

This spot has plenty of equipment, only slightly busy/packed during peak hours of course as every other gym is, but honestly most days are fine even during those hours. Usually very clean (gym and bathrooms) but the steam room could do better! You can see the sludge in there and honestly just quick hose down every day with the right cleaning solution would do it, it has a drain so it's not too hard haha. Sometimes the pool smells horrendous haha like wayyy too many chemicals, maybe use local biz Mr Pool - they're amazing for pools indoor and out, as well as the hot tub. The music kinda sucks they play but it's generic gym music so you can't really complain. I love it here, they have a good sized area for everything you need. Maybe one more chest/back pectoral fly machine would be perfect!! That's the only one that's always taken. Cheap prices as well. Good trainers. I don't get how people give it bad reviews.

I have never written a review before, but this was by far the worst customer service experience I…read morehave ever had. It would be negative stars if possible. As someone in a management role myself, I have never encountered a manager as unprofessional, rude, condescending, and abrasive as Cherek. My friend and I came in at 8:00 PM to use the advertised 5-day free pass because we were genuinely interested in trying the gym. We filled out unnecessary paperwork about our personal workout goals and schedule (we weren't looking for personal training so this didn't need to be shared), took a tour with a very friendly employee, and then politely explained that we were not interested in purchasing a membership that night because we wanted to actually use the facility first. The kind employee warned us if we decline membership he HAD to bring Manager Cherek back over. What a joy that was. She immediately started trying to resell us on the pricing. I politely told her that changing the numbers wasn't going to change my answer--I wanted to try the gym before committing to a membership. Her response? She looked at us and said we "seemed tight on money." I was honestly shocked. What kind of manager thinks it's appropriate to make personal financial assumptions about complete strangers? That comment alone should disqualify someone from being in a customer-facing management position. Despite me declining multiple times, she continued pushing the pricing. After saying "no" for the third time, I finally explained that I'm already a CorePower member paying around $140 per month and was simply looking for a gym that offered different workout options and was considering a more affordable option. Saving roughly $150 over an entire YEAR wasn't going to convince me to buy a membership for a gym I hadn't even been allowed to try. I shouldn't have to share that information but was forced to so she would stop offering savings that I do not care about without getting to workout first. Then the conversation somehow became an INTERROGATION She repeatedly questioned why we were there, asked about our workout goals, how frequently we plan to come to the gym and when my friend said I don't know I just wanted to work out, she responded with, "Then why are you here if you don't have goals?" Because...we came to WORK OUT. That's literally the purpose of a gym. The irony was that after all this talking, we still hadn't been allowed to step onto the gym floor. Then came the best part. She told us we could only use the free pass if we scheduled another appointment with her so she could discuss membership again. We asked, "So you're saying we can't use the advertised 5-day free pass unless we schedule another sales meeting?" She confirmed that was correct and said we HAVE to set up a date time in order to use the facility tonight. So after spending ** 27 minutes--from 8:00 to 8:27 PM** --being pressured, interrogated, judged, and repeatedly told why we should buy a membership, we were sent away without ever being allowed to use the gym. This wasn't a free pass. It was a sales trap. If your "free trial" requires customers to commit to another appointment before they're even allowed to work out, then advertise it honestly. Don't market it as a chance to try the facility when it's really just a high-pressure sales pitch that was unprofessional and abrasive. I've visited plenty of gyms that are confident enough in their product to let people experience the facility before asking them to commit. This gym clearly isn't one of them. Save yourself the time and go somewhere that actually lets you use the free pass they advertise--and where management knows how to treat potential customers with basic respect.

I told them it was likely I would be moving out of the country the following month so it wasn't a good fit for me. They offered to have me sign up anyways and fill out a cancellation form at the time of signing up and assured me both verbally and in email that I would not be charged the membership fee the following month. There was a slight chance I may not move out of the country because I was still waiting for my passport to arrive. I actually only even had time to make it to 2 classes that month because I was busy preparing for my international move. The only reason I signed up was because it was FREE and I was told in multiple ways I wouldn't be charged. Well fast forward a month now that I'm abroad and I see a charge from them for $169. I emailed them with my 30 day cancellation form and asked for a refund. They denied the request saying I signed up for a promotion I did not sign up for (2 months for the price of one). nowhere does it say this on the legal document I signed. Now they are saying there is an OTF in the country I'm residing in but it is an hour away and I have no car and I'm enrolled in a program here that makes it impossible for me to get to their gym. I'm filing a complaint with the better business bureau and notifying my bank of a fraudulent charge since I followed their policy and canceled my membership but they still charged me after I gave my written 30 day notice. Super bummed because I really liked working out at this place and was looking forward to becoming a member again once I move back to USA after this program abroad.
