I'm not a pool person, and certainly would never pay $1.00, or the $12/adult fee. But I would bring a lounger, a cooler, some wine and a snack, and enjoy the local denizens, many of whom are not shy about bringing in beer to the old, adobe-surrounded pool. Nearby sound of the creek is very relaxing.

Update: Adult admission is now $12, a small increase from my last review. Pro tip: Go early as you can, whether it's a weekday or weekend. 10:00 may feel early to start swimming but it's plenty warm by then and you'll have your pick of the seats/areas. By 11-11:30 it's packed! BYO snacks, water, chair and reading material and it makes for a perfectly lovely morning in Eldorado Springs.

I love it! I love it! I love it! Been seeing ads of this pool in the paper for years and I'm elated that I finally made it! It was a sunny Monday afternoon and I was tickled that this Rocky Mountain oasis was no mirage. We called ahead to inquire about parking (somehow I'd missed the signs on previous trips driving through the town) and I am so glad that we did. We located two very small lots with rather intimidating "tow" warning signs. I still haven't quite figured out how they know/confirm if the cars parked there are indeed pool patrons but Vicero (my car) remained safe and sound over the several hours I was lounging in and around the pool. After passing over the wooden footbridge and through the arching gate we encountered a friendly young gal at the entry desk. She was very sweet and personable. We learned about the all important hand stamping (let's them know you've paid/entered previously if you run out to the car or for a bite to eat) and the free Eldorado pool postcard was a smash hit with me and my beau. The patrons varied in ages and walks of life. The children were well behaved and there were many couples enjoying the refreshing waters. I was particularly excited to see a patron lounging upon a pepperoni pizza floatation device (note to self: must hunt down donut shaped floaty I saw in an ad). The slide was tall and steep. I couldn't help but squeal when I finally let go of the sides of the slide. That thing really launched me! I rather enjoyed the diving board, it has a bit more spring than you'd expect. The water was beautiful and crisp. It was so refreshing to dip in non salt or chlorine treated water. There's a variety of seating from grass/picnic table, rooftop astroturf, poolside picnic table or chairs. Many folks opted to put down their beach towels directly on the cement. My beau was kind enough to track down a chair and carry it up stairs for me. Overall this was a wonderful relaxing day. I can't wait to return, particularly with my out of state guests.

Amazing escape into what feels like 1987. Gorgeous backdrop of the Rocky Mountains! The swimming pool is fresh from the local springs, the slide is fun and (free) parking is available in nearby parking lots. Note : the snack shop is cash only! And you can bring a cooler on site. Not many chairs, bring your own or plan a beach towel on concrete. Admission is 10.00 per adult. Accords CC!

Chillin on a Saturday afternoon in July and there's still plenty of room!

My girls had a lot of fun. It was clean and well maintained and really affordable…read more Water park/pool area was packed because it was spring break, which wasn't their fault, except that "lazy river" (super small) wasn't supervised well and had way way too many people in it. I would only recommend regulated crowds more, that's why I gave it 4 instead of 5.

Why did I pay $23 to swim in a freezing cold pool crammed full of unsupervised children?! Literally…read morethe worst experience I've had at ANY rec center (and I've been to pretty much all of them within an hour radius). I brought my daughter to swim and we stayed about 30 min. The only area where she could *actually* swim had a giant fan blowing down from the ceiling...we were both shivering within 10 minutes. The pool area looks massive, but the actual space for a kid to swim is tiny. SO much wasted space. The playground are is great for toddlers, but beyond that it's a huge disappointment. Why is there a huge fan blowing down onto the pool on a cold, rainy day?? The pool water temps were miserably cold which means the hot tubs were overrun with people who were camped out in them. We couldn't even dip a toe in the hot tub because they were 'full'. There were also crowds of completely unsupervised kids everywhere we turned. The whole 'adult supervision for kids under 10' is an absolute JOKE. After being pushed, kicked, shoved, jumped on for 30 minutes, we cut our losses and left. Will absolutely not be back.
