This is a nice hidden gem in Boulder. Good if you want a place to work out outdoors. Pull up bars, dip bar, olympic rings. Pretty cool

I can't speak to being a member here, but I took lessons here. Here was my experience…read more The coaching was all over the place. You don't have the same coach for the entire session. I had three different coaches during a 6-week session. A couple were really good, some were ok. The biggest problem is they book their classes full knowing they don't have enough coaches. And you get charged the same amount of money no matter what. One class there was one coach and three people, which seemed okay. The next class, there's 10 people taking the class and one coach. So 2/3 of the time, you're playing with members of your class and get no coaching. In my opinion, they should have given a credit towards another class. Finally two weeks later we get another coach. The the Fall session they pushed back a week, so the last three evening sessions got dark after an hour. You played the last half hour struggling to see the ball. Again, they didn't offer to give a credit or apologize for getting 2/3 of a class. Why did they schedule that late, knowing the sun set one hour into the class that lasted an hour and half? Finally, during a morning lesson, I left my pull-over top on the bench. I called 30 minutes later after I realized I'd left it, they said they didn't have it. Never got turned in during the days after. The worst was when I asked the coach about it, he got really evasive. "I didn't see it, I went to the other side of the court, it was probably a homeless person who stole it." He acted so weird, that I began to think he was the one who took it. I would hope that coaches would check after a class, and if they saw someone left a piece of equipment or clothing, they would immediately take it to the office. Instead, they tried to pawn it off to a homeless person stealing it in broad daylight within 1/2 hour of the lesson ending. Just didn't have a good experience and the lessons aren't cheap. Won't be taking any more lessons here in the future.

Our hike was extra special because it was led by Maria the Park Ranger. Maria's knowledge and passion for Chautauqua was incredible to witness. You can tell these mountains mean so much to her! We learned about the landscape, wildlife, Natives, and so much more. Our hike was simple but we saw so much along the way. The views of the flatirons are hard to beat. The path was busy but it was a beautiful saturday morning and it still didn't feel overly crowded. We saw lots of doggies, runners, and families and friends meeting for a morning hike to kick off their weekend. It was pure magic. I hope I get to come back one day!!

I'm a tourist and the like and I enjoyed it! We lucked into parking on a beautiful, busy Saturday morning. They have very nice restrooms at the Ranger station, and more overflow port a potties around if needed too. The nearby trail is highly accessible and it doesn't take long for some views to pay off. It's a decently steep incline, but nothing crazy at all. Once you're into the trees the shade helps against the thin air and the sun, and it's so quiet and serene. No mosquitoes like I'm used to back home. Loved all the birds (shoutout magpies) and also seeing everyones' dogs.
