You know how bendy and active 8yo boys are! He took an instant liking to the place and now it's somewhere we go on a weekend morning to burn off energy. We've thrown his birthday party here, which was amazing. They have someone "chaperone" the party and do activities and other cool things. I thought it was decently priced too. We've done summer camps and winter camps here, a few weeks here and there. I highly recommend their camps. Lots of instructors, the instructors are kind, are invested in getting to know your kids and making them feel awesome, and also really encourage them to tackle the challenges at Ninja Nation. It's a bit expensive, but not out of the ballpark for including food/snacks and the amount of staff per child. You can also pay additional for early drop off and late pick-up. All in all this is a great place to run out the kids and build body self-confidence.

We have been traveling for years during the winter to The Oasis. It has always been a pleasure, and…read morethe staff has consistently demonstrated professionalism. However, we recently learned a valuable lesson regarding their protocol on outside drinks. We coordinated a group to take a day off work and spend the afternoon at their facility. To make it worthwhile, we needed another player and managed to solidify a last-minute invite. The court was rented for 3 hours, and about 1.5 hours in, the extra invite pulled a drink out of his bag right in front of the staff. He was confronted and agreed to leave without any resistance, acknowledging that his actions were uncalled for. To me, it seemed like the situation was resolved as our group began organizing the next match. However, moments later, the staff decided to escalate the issue, stating that since the player who violated the facility rules was on our court, everyone in our group had to leave the premises. The staff member also blamed us for not policing our invitees according to their rules and regulations. No one in our group knew the player had the drink until he pulled it out, yet we were all penalized, and the rental cost for the court was kept. The only reason I am leaving this post is to make others aware of The Oasis's protocol for such situations. If you invite anyone to play on the court you rented, you will be held personally responsible for their actions against The Oasis's rules and regulations.

This review is specifically for Gonzo Tennis Academy, hosted by Longmont Athletic Club. We've…read moretried out a few kids tennis lessons and coaches in different surrounding cities, but Gonzo Tennis Academy is the BEST. Why? Because for my 5 year old and 7 year old kids, they get bored easily and act up, but Coach Gonzo and his brother Coach Diego are FUN and get the kids hitting! My 5 and 7 year old kids have dramatically improved with their technique in the 1 session we've been here and they always wind up laughing so much during their lesson. They talk to the side line parents for quick 10 second tips and advice during the lesson. Everything is broken down for the kids and easy to understand. We've had "tough guy" coaching techniques before, and they just aren't appropriate for this young age...usually my kids get discouraged with that kind of coach attitude. I travel all the way from Broomfield to Longmont because it's totally worth it and very reasonable prices for (non-member) tennis lessons. Oh, and did I mention lessons are *inside* a tennis bubble? Our last tennis session at Broomfield Tennis and Swim club was outside and we often had to cancel lessons due to poor weather, and I just didn't have the time to make up the lessons on alternative days. That, and my kids just hated the Colorado cold and windy days. They mentally gave up on playing before the lesson. We can play all year long and my boys don't have a huge lull between seasons. It's really the best overall place for little kid tennis lessons! Just don't take my 2 spots from my boys, okay? ;D

A female player was hit hard in the head. The game continued with no intervention, which was unsafe and unacceptable. I didn't have fun and regret spending my time here. I felt unsafe and unwelcome, and I will not be returning.
