This facility has been fantastic for our family! Our children have enjoyed playing basketball, soccer, and hockey here, and we all love the climbing wall. Batting cages are more like indoor batting sectioned off nets. The pitching machines don't work that well. But no one is there so you can pay for the minimum 30 mins and stay for hours. You'll end up just hand pitching though. Not bad. I may go back or look for real batting cages. read more

A great place for activity! They have a large gym for basketball. I've only seen it split into 4 smaller courts for kid's basketball but I see the hoops to be able to make Into larger courts as needed. There's a walking track above the courts. They have an indoor ice rink that can be used as a hardwood for roller hockey, soccer and I don't know what else. There's an indoor turf for soccer. There's also a climbing wall that looks cool and a workout area. My tip- the upper parking lot is much easier for parking! read more

I love the fitness loft at the Parker Fieldhouse, especially the indoor walk/run track. I work out there at least 4 times a week and am always greeted by a friendly staff person whenI check in. I so appreciate that our city provides such a wonderful resource! read more

Absolutely horrible but very nice. The staff there was extremely rude to one of my friends who did not have enough money to pay for the basketball court. He wanted to see his basketball coach because he had practice with him. And they were dumb enough to tell him that all the coaches were at the Parker rec Center. Please don't trust them! read more

A multifaceted recreational facility with indoor rock climbing and lacrosse to basketball and roller hockey, it's on a campus with lots of available workout areas with aerobic and resistance training as well. It's an incredible resource for the community and is kept clean and running efficiently by really good staff and management. Nice to see such a well run place with lots of kids (and adults) doing their thing in a safe and encouraging environment. read more

The facility is pretty nice and this is my 2nd session playing there. I think the park district does a good job with keeping the facility nice. My complaint is with the referees, and specifically the most senior (or at least oldest ref). He and in some cases the younger referees have a habit of verbally antagonizing players until they continue to get additional penalties minutes. I have been a referee before so I know the challenges of the role well. While many times a player will earn additional penalties on thier own accord I have never seen referees actively go after players verbally until they push the right button and get them to react. They have gotten me on this before and tonight I watched both referees target the same player over and over. After the game I attempted to have a calm discussion about it with the ref and was immediately mocked and threatened to be thrown out of a game that was already over in which I received no penalties nor had any unpleasant interaction with the referees at all. I wish there was another option to play elsewhere. I am faced with the possibility that I will no longer play because the antagonizing referees make this quite often an unpleasant place to play. read more

This facility is fantastic. They have everything. It is beautiful and well maintained, clean, and orderly. I'm unsure how their pricing is compared to other rec center type facilities, but they have more than most comparable facilities, so I would expect their pricing to be a bit higher - and rightfully so. My niece plays volleyball on Saturday mornings which is where the decrease of stars comes from. The staff reffing the games is often awful and rude. On one particular Saturday, the female ref was so horrible that the coaches considered pulling their team and joining another rec center. They lost, which happens and the girls are good sports about it, but what should never happen is the girls asking if the reason they lost is because the ref "hated" them and their coaches. It's appalling. Thankfully these girls have wonderful families who made it ok in their little minds. read more

I've played indoor soccer here for almost 3 years. I enjoy the leagues and the facility is nice. We've had some issues with the refereeing of the game. I know how tough refereeing adults is, I've done it. But sometimes they most past civil conversations and quickly move to escalating the issue. That being said, the refs have been much better in the last year or so. There are also other league rules which are not communicated well. I'd rate 3 stars except the refereeing has improved and the staff overall seems more helpful - so 4 stars it is! read more

I can only speak to their climbing wall and the staff that help in this area as they are the only areas we have used here. This is not advertised as a gym that can accommodate all levels including special needs, but they can. I have a special needs son and they were amazing with him. There were also a handful of other special needs kids there when we went and I was blown away. My daughter came with us who is neurotypical and she had a great time too. 5 stars all around! read more

I'm so glad the kids have a new place to play. Parker was really needing this place. Fairly large center they have sports turf, batting cages, gymnasiums, inline rink with Sport Court flooring, climbing wall, elevated track, fitness loft and an indoor playground. Great facility and nice soccer field... BUT the management for the adult soccer league is horrendous. They purposely change games last minute to force forfeit on multiple occasions. It's odd how quickly they forfeit games for random reasons such as not carrying ID with you every game (especially when everyone already signed the list). The 2 ladies running the soccer game just wanted to go home... Would not pay for this league again, as you won't be able to fulfill all the games you paid for as promised due specifically to the terrible and lazy management. They will not work with you to make it a good experience for everyone. read more

I first came here for my stepson's roller hockey league and once I found out what kind of activities they had, I kept it in my pocket in case our local area rec center didn't work out. As it so happened, that was this past Spring. My daughter had been playing outdoor soccer and I was apprehensive how much she loved it. And when she said she wanted to play in the summer, I knew it was the beginning of the end. I despise sitting in the heat watching soccer games all summer. I KNEW there had to be a better way for a 7 year old to play soccer, more importantly for ME to watch soccer. The indoor field at the Parker Field house is perfect! Co-ed indoor soccer is the best of both worlds. Clean and updated restrooms, a play area upstairs for kids, snack shack and an exercise track if you want to work out during your kids game. It's exactly what I needed. The coaches are great, the sportsmanship rules are strict and good to help teach kids how to properly act on and off the field. It's a far cry from some of the other sporting events I've attending and had my daughter play in. Highly recommend using this facility. read more

Had a rock climbing birthday party here for my 7 and 9 year old boys! It was affordable and a great time! They welcomed us and were all set up when we arrived. They answered any and all questions ahead of time and timely. They even saved the day by having birthday candles which I had forgotten! The kids and adults alike had a blast climbing the rock wall. I joined a flag football league or else probably would have never known about this place. I have been there about 5 times to play and there is always something going on. There are two fields, one for skating and the other with AstroTurf, basketball courts, batting cages, climbing wall, running track and multi purpose rooms I see people in all the time. There seems to be something for everyone here! There are a lot of leagues for different sports as well. This flag football league is the first adult league I have been in and it has turned out to be one of the most looked forward things I do all week! read more

This place is an absolute rip off. Not only are membership prices incredibly high, but the recreational sports program are organized by completely incompetent employees. Supervisors use profanities and the referees are not trained. Many have left both the roller hockey and soccer programs at this location due to the blatant ignorance and unprofessional behavior of those running the programs. The people of Parker deserve better. read more

I love the Parker Field House! For adults, great little workout area upstairs that has machines, treadmills, elliptical and dumbells. Has a geat indoor track. For kids hockey, soccer, basketball and more, and they have an incredible climbing wall that my son absolutely loves and they change it regularly. Prices I think are very reasonable. read more
