Over the years, I think my kids still really enjoy it -- even after 20+ visits! We've also attended at least 10 birthday parties here (and have another one next month!). And experienced all of the different packages. The kids definitely love getting the play card to play the crane machines. My nephew has had a lot of luck with the ones where you grab the circular tickets. He's won some pretty cool prizes! They also love getting a cup to fill with candy after a party! With the shift and rebrand to Sweet Play, I did hope that some of the design or structures would update/change, but it all still seems the same. My kids do still enjoy coming back every so often. We appreciate the pricing (parents being free!), especially $12 for toddler Tuesdays! Our toddler really enjoys the slide into the ballpit the toddler area. Overall, this is a great spot for families with young kids - a good size space where you can generally keep track of your kids.

It took me a little time to process what happened this past Sunday before writing this review…read more I want to start by saying Tanner, the young man who worked our party, absolutely made the day. He was incredibly helpful with the kids, repeatedly apologized for everything happening (even though none of it was his fault), and remained kind, attentive, and professional the entire time. Tanner is the ONLY reason we managed to have any sort of birthday party at all. We booked the Ultimate Birthday Party package for my son's 7th birthday from 2-4 PM and also added the pizza and drinks package. The day before, I called to confirm everything, including our food order: 2 cheese pizzas, 2 pepperoni pizzas, Sprite, and lemonade for 12 kids. I arrived around 1:35 PM expecting a busy Sunday crowd. When I checked in, I was immediately told our party room would not be available until 3:15 PM -- despite our party being scheduled from 2-4 PM. That meant we would only have the room for the last 45 minutes. I was shocked. The employee at the front desk was kind and explained the manager had overbooked parties. Meanwhile, I was left standing in a packed lobby with decorations, cake, plates, and favor bags with nowhere to set anything up. I eventually asked to speak with the manager. After waiting about 15 minutes, he came over with absolutely no sense of urgency. He was dismissive, condescending, and repeatedly told me the room timing was listed in the "fine print" of the emails. Maybe technically it was, but it's honestly ridiculous to advertise birthday parties without guaranteeing space for the actual party. After offering no real solution, he simply walked away. As guests arrived, Tanner took the kids onto the obstacle course while I grabbed a couple of lobby tables to hold gifts and belongings. Thankfully, because of Tanner, the kids still had fun and had no idea what was happening behind the scenes. We finally got access to the party room around 3:30 PM, leaving only 30 minutes in our reservation, and there was still no pizza. Tanner helped us rush decorations up while the kids were already hungry and thirsty. When I asked about the pizzas, Tanner checked with the manager and came back saying they claimed I never ordered them. That was completely false. I would never host a party for 12 children without food. Tanner apologized again and later informed me they had "just ordered" the pizzas -- at 3:45 PM, with the party ending at 4. The kids were hungry, drinks were running low, and there was still no food. I asked for more time in the room, and once again Tanner had to speak with the manager himself. We were eventually allowed to stay until 4:30 PM and the pizzas were comped. Unfortunately, by then most parents were already preparing to leave because the party was supposed to end at 4. I rushed to cut the cake so the kids could at least sing Happy Birthday and eat something. The pizzas finally arrived at 4:10 PM when only three kids remained. To their credit, they comped the pizzas and gave us free gym-time coupons. I appreciate that gesture, but after the way the manager handled everything, I will never return. I'm honestly shocked I still paid $329 for this experience. The reason I'm writing this review is to warn other parents. Birthday parties are expensive, and your hard-earned money should go to a business that values its customers and knows how to properly manage events. During the entire three hours we were there, the manager never once apologized. The only staff members who showed professionalism or empathy were the younger employees -- especially Tanner. They are lucky to have him. As a business owner myself, I can confidently say the current manager will drive this business into the ground. He was dismissive, incompetent, condescending, and rude from start to finish. Save yourself the stress and book your child's birthday somewhere else.

Ed the Spacetime Guy is cool!…read more Had our son's birthday party yesterday. My 7yo boy is on a serious astronomical kick, so a space-themed party was in order. Now the dangerous part; 15 6-8 year old kids, at the house, mostly boys. Somehow the house survived. Ed set up in the basement, and immediately had the kids attention. He spun a yarn about the solar system, and got every kid who wanted involved. He had inflatable planets, plus the sun. Each kid got to hold one as he described neat facts about the planet. Next, he conducted a little experiment where one kid held a planet, while another had a Styrofoam rocket launched. While he spun the kid, he attempt to fire at the planet... Next up were 3D photos of Mars, with 3D glasses provided. There was an experiment to create Mars soil, and a project to create a Galactic Glider. The grand finale was an air rocket launch outside. I heard from one parent today that her son pronounced the party "Awesome," and on a scale of 1-10 a 1000! Minor addition: Until their entry is updated, their website is http://www.spacetimekids.com/

So it was only natural to ask Ed to do a SpaceTime party for my son's birthday. The kids and parents had a blast (pun intended) learning about rockets, shooting off stomp rockets, and making a fizz rocket with some paper, film canisters, and Alka Seltzer. Ed ended the party with a huge rocket launch outside that went 100 feet into the air. It was so cool! I like SpaceTime because they are really good at getting kids interested and having them learn something along the way. Ed and Julie are very accommodating and great to work with. Highly recommended for a fun and interactive party!

I came here specifically because I needed a private shower. The woman (KERRY) at the front desk, KERRY did not explain where the private showers were or properly direct me. Instead, I ended up having to go into the locker room, which was dirty showers were with hair and looked like they had not been cleaned scrubbed in days it was disgusting and unpleasant, only to discover that the shower I was given was COLD. I then spent another $4 purchasing a towel, went back to the front desk, and told KERRYthat the shower was cold. KERRY 's response and attitude were incredibly dismissive. She didn't come check the shower, offer another option, or show the slightest concern that I had paid for a service that wasn't functioning properly. What made the experience even worse was how nasty and disrespectful the women at the front desk were toward me. (KERRY) Their (CAMERON) tones and attitudes made me feel unwelcome, as though I was beneath them or an inconvenience. Instead of treating me with basic courtesy, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. I came in, paid my money, and expected reasonable customer service. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and completely disregarded. I had to Argue with KERRY to give me my $2.50 back she finally did the 2.50 and then wouldn't refund me for paper thin towel ($4) she sold me. Said I used the towel. How was I supposed to dry off after ice cold water was dumped on me. She (KERRY) stated she was not allowed to refund me ($4) for the towel and continued to argue with me. If you're going to charge people for access to facilities, you should make sure those facilities are clean, functional, and that your front-desk staff actually care when a customer tells them something isn't working. Staff (KERRY manager) should also treat customers with professionalism and respect, regardless of the situation. I would absolutely not recommend this place based on my experience today.
