I absolutely loved Skagway Weenie Wagon. We stopped by while our cruise ship was docked in Skagway, and it ended up being one of the best food stops of the trip. The giant Godzilla out front is such a fun photo spot and adds a quirky charm that makes the place stand out right away. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the quick stop even better. The food hit the spot, especially the reindeer sausage, which had a great snap and a rich, smoky flavor that felt perfectly Alaskan. It's the kind of casual, local food experience that makes exploring new towns so much fun.

The Weenie Wagon is a bit off the tourist trail but well worth the couple of blocks!

This little wagon is serving up some of the best sausage we've ever had! Add to that the fact that it's reindeer sausage so it's unique and unusual makes it a must try when in Skagway! Why get average tourist food when you can get the most amazing meal on a plate without the long wait! Super friendly owner working her hardest to bring joy and delicious food to this out of the way region! Will definitely be back!

We stumbled up on the Weenie Wagon on the outskirts of the main downtown area in Skagway. We were there right at 11am opening on a Tuesday. The owner walked over to the truck dressed in a vintage dress with hotdog earrings, which totally matched the kitchy vibe and decor of the stand and surrounding seating area. She greeted us warmly and offered to take our picture with the ketchup and mustard standee, which we took her up on. We were intrigued by the reindeer sausages, so we got one to share with grilled onions and mustard. It was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, not at all gamey nor chewy. $12 for a good sized sausage on a roll with $1 extra for the grilled onions. A very fun stop to try some local eats!

We were looking for a quick bite after our train ride and this venue appeared on Apple Maps. We decided to give it a try after seeing all the positive reviews and being really close by. The "hot dog" theme and dinosaur were cute. My son and I had the reindeer sausage and it was so good! The fresh lemonade was a bonus. Spoke to the owner for a few minutes and she seemed really sweet and enjoyed what she did. We'll definitely be coming back on our next cruise

My first ever experience eating reindeer and it was delicious. My take it was somewhere between an all beef hot dog and a hot link. The snap of the casing was great and the meat tasted fresh. In speaking with the ladies, they get their reindeer from a farm near Anchorage Alaska that shops directly to them. Cool little food truck on the side of the road in this quaint little town of Skagway Alaska. The service was very friendly as my order was taken outside by a lady with the credit card machine outside the food truck and she called out the order to the lady cooking the food. Definitely a good alternative to standing in the long lines at the restaurants closer to the docks.

Got here as soon as they opened and the ambiance is super cute. Opted for the Reindeer Hot Dog and it was so delicious, not gamey, and definitely dont skip the grilled onions! Service was great and they even took our picture in the ketchup and mustard sign. Definitely a must stop when you're in town!

If you are in Skagway you must stop in at the Skagway Weenie Wagon food truck. They just opened a month ago. They have an awesome reindeer sausage that you can get on a bun or on a stick. One of the best I've ever had. The service was great and they have a few seats or just take it with you. They have a nice little corner they have their truck. I had the reindeer sausage on the bun with grilled onions and mustard for $12.00. I definitely recommend this spot.

We were walking around Skagway just taking in the epic views and charms of the city and stumbled across the Skagway Weenie Wagon. They had reindeer and all beef hotdogs that were delicious! The fresh made lemonade was also extremely tasty! The owner has been in the community for a long time and married into to a 5th generation gold rush family native to Skagway. She was fun and eclectic as was the atmosphere around the Skagway Weenie Wagon! They had only been in business for a couple of weeks, but we were certainly glad we happened upon this food truck! Stop by if you are in Skagway! You won't be disappointed and will support the locals!

Wonderful service and great food! We tried the beef hot dog and reindeer sausage. They also have iced tea which is a plus. The lady that runs this place is very nice :) We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Skagway!!!

On our Carnival Cruise we stopped in Skagaway and did the train ride. While walking through town we noticed this hot dog truck alittle off the beaten path but still within walking distance from town.Theirs a handful of options but when you just want great hotdog this place does not disappoint. It's not hard to find just look for the Godzilla holding the reindeer sausage sign.

Such a good place! Off the main drag and away from the crowds. Try their spicy reindeer sausage. They are so kind, welcoming, and nice. Tried the Odd Dog. So good I can back tog at two more!

I was expecting a hot dog and got a whole experience! The Weenie Wagon is unlike anything else in SE Alaska, kitschy and cool. The ladies that own and operate are helpful, funny and left us wishing that we had a Weenie Wagon in our town! if you are in Skagway, its off the beaten path, but there is only one Godzilla, friend of the Weenie dog that guards the Weenie Gazebo!

This is the best hot dog place we've ever eaten at! We got the beef hot dog with onions and the reindeer hot dog with onions and both were 10/10! Courtney was so welcoming and we even got to meet her lil pup Spike. Pls come support this local business you won't regret it

Naturally with the name I had to come. SUCH a great experience. I came the last day of the season…read moreand Olivia herself was there. What a treat she is! I was trying to get some souvenirs and she told me a couple spots to check out and held my table while I went across the street! I wanted something fresh and local and they're a great place for that. It's her parents restaurant and her mom grows herbs that they use in dishes. Olivia travels a lot so it was serendipitous that I actually got to meet her! Seemed like a spot a lot of the locals hang at, felt very homey, Cheers type everyone knows your name place with delicious food! I did a Rojito, seafood pasta and a side of crostini. The drink was so refreshing! I remember her mom was involved with its creation and of course it's her fresh grown mint! The pasta had huge chunks of very tasty seafood! Outside of being here (AK) I probably wouldn't order something like that but I'm glad I did. The pasta was delicious and the seafood was fresh. The crostini's were so good too. I hear they have great desserts but we shared a fry bread earlier and there was just no room for more. I got a shirt bc I couldn't not. I truly loved it here. Such a chill, kind vibe. If ever in Skagway I'll be back. Thank you to Olivia and team for more than making me feel welcomed.
