We were so glad we did. The hostess was a gem (sorry I forgot your name sweetie) who was juggling managing the front as well as helping clear and prep the tables. She did a great job keeping everyone informed of their wait. When it was our turn she gave us a choice of tables since I am in a wheelchair, which I thought was very helpful. Our server Rori introduced herself and told us that they just seated a group of ten, and if we were ready to order she could get us in so we could get our food before the big group. It worked out perfectly! We shared the two piece king crab and it was delicious! Tender and sweet. Unlike other famous places in town and in Juneau, which we have tried, who were extremely salty. These were perfect! Turns out they are steamed and not cooked in a vat of saltwater. Hubby ate every bit of the fried Halibut and said it was perfect!! We can't wait to come back next year and try the sweet tea which looks like two or more servings and comes in a cute fish bottle. We also want to try the chowder or bisque!! Thanks Rori and team!!

I ordered them hot and they were hot when they arrived. They were actually very delicious. They were on a bed of arugula with a bit of melted butter, which was strange. The menu said that they were steamed in Old Bay, but I didn't get a lot of Old Bay flavor. The flavor I did get was a slightly curry feeling with lemongrass and a little bit of a zing. They were delicious! I looked at other people's plates, including the crab. The king crab looked great, but was very expensive. During the summer on Saturday night, they offer sushi specials so I'll go back to check that out later.

Everyone is here as there are 3 cruise ships in port today but, Skagway Brewing Company is down off the Main Street so it was quiet and it was also before 11am. Cute place! Quite large with dining upstairs and down with a bar upstairs too. I loved the sign by the bathroom. They have a balcony that is only for drinking. . Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a cool interior. We walked right in and were greeted friendly and sent upstairs where we immediately sat down. Our waitress was nice and took good care of us. I ordered the blackened southwest salad with halibut. OH MY GOODNESS! Their salad dressing is house made, the blackening spices they used on the halibut is house made AND they have an aeroponic garden so all their greens are grown right there and are the freshest and tastiest I've ever had! Now, I have to say, if you are in Alaska, GET HALIBUT!! I have to confess halibut is my absolute favorite fish so I died and went to heaven. Excellent salad! I ate every single bite and I got the full salad. Totally worth it. I also got their house made root beer that came in a super frosty mug and was delicious!! My husband got the beer flight that has four 2 oz beer pours. He also got the Brewer's Alaskan Halibut fish and chips. The fish was so hot and fresh he had to wait to eat for a bit! The fries were super tasty, crisp outside and perfectly cooked inside. He enjoyed his beers too! I'm a bit sad we won't be back in Skagway as I would eat here again! If you come to town, eat here. Do it. You will be very thankful! Also they have cute gift shop with swag on the first floor. Thanks Skagway Brewing Company!!

The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. My husband enjoyed their amber ale. Definitely have a variety to choose from as well as wine. They also have a great selection of food items. Naturally with the name I had to come. SUCH a great experience. I came the last day of the season…read moreand Olivia herself was there. What a treat she is! I was trying to get some souvenirs and she told me a couple spots to check out and held my table while I went across the street! I wanted something fresh and local and they're a great place for that. It's her parents restaurant and her mom grows herbs that they use in dishes. Olivia travels a lot so it was serendipitous that I actually got to meet her! Seemed like a spot a lot of the locals hang at, felt very homey, Cheers type everyone knows your name place with delicious food! I did a Rojito, seafood pasta and a side of crostini. The drink was so refreshing! I remember her mom was involved with its creation and of course it's her fresh grown mint! The pasta had huge chunks of very tasty seafood! Outside of being here (AK) I probably wouldn't order something like that but I'm glad I did. The pasta was delicious and the seafood was fresh. The crostini's were so good too. I hear they have great desserts but we shared a fry bread earlier and there was just no room for more. I got a shirt bc I couldn't not. I truly loved it here. Such a chill, kind vibe. If ever in Skagway I'll be back. Thank you to Olivia and team for more than making me feel welcomed.

This restaurant, which is affiliated with the hotel, was only a short walking distance from the hotel (and the historic area) -- which was appreciated on a rainy, dreary evening. The Bonanza, which features cold draft Alaskan beers and hot food, seems to be popular with locals and tourists alike. The menu offers something for everyone but is not overwhelming -- from starters, to fresh salads, to sandwiches, to burgers, and to rice bowls. They can also accommodate gluten sensitivities. They also have a good selection of beers and specialty drinks, as well as Bonanza gear for sale. My husband wanted to eat light after all of the cruise ship food, so he ordered the House-made Alaska Chowder ($15) from the Starters Menu. The chowder featured local halibut + salmon, red potatoes, bacon, and clams, and was served with oyster crackers. He said that it tasted good, and was creamy as he prefers, but was somewhat small and light on seafood pieces at that price point. I was craving vegetarian fare, so I ordered the Buddha Bowl ($19) from the Rice Bowls Menu. This was a tasty and generous combination of jasmine rice, chickpeas, roasted butternut squash, roasted red peppers, Kimchi, kale, and Buddha sauce. If I were making this myself, I'd add some tofu cubes for protein and reduce the amount of kimchi, but overall it was good. The atmosphere was rather quiet while we were there in the early evening, with a few tv screens on. However, they offer live music and a pool table so I'm sure that it's more lively at other times. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. We would eat here again if we return to Skagway.
