The gallery has many unique pieces of art, from paintings and prints to guitar picks made out of fossilized bone and locally made jewelry. It is a non-profit, with an ask of $2 per adult as a donation (there is a donation bucket for cash at the entrance). There are a lot of antique ware from the history of Skagway, all educationally marked. It is a small museum, probably taking no more than 30 minutes walking through it (even stopping at displays to read them). There is a small section where you can purchase souvenirs along with historical books about Skagway. A mounted grizzly bear as well as a mountain goat are two native animals prominently displayed. It's very clear that the entire building was recently renovated, including modern bathrooms.

Even Jack London made it up to the Klondike when he was only 20 years old, which adds another interesting layer to the story.
