After the third wash, one of the pillow cases was damaged, despite assurances in person by the sales associate that the product was durable and machine washable. My husband and I found this store on our Alaska cruise. This is the last store we hit on the way back to the dock. I am not one to buy much on my vacations, but if I find something special, I will go ahead and treat myself. I saw the shoes from across the street and I knew I had to have them. I had wanted to buy a souvenir that I would use and that would truly remind me of Alaska. The man that helped me and my husband find a pair of shoes was very nice and helpful. The shoes sizing definitely runs all over the place, so make sure to try them on first. The leather is so soft! The shoes are very comfortable. I hope I am able to wear them for a long time! Also, the bag that they gave us makes the purchase all the sweeter. I am sucker for good wrapping or nice bags. It really shows that the owner wants to take that extra step to impress. If we ever go back, I will be saving to buy myself another pair of unique shoes. read more

18 months ago I was lucky to find an incredibly beautiful round leather rug to purchase at The Loom. Recently I found a broken thread and contacted The Loom. Less than a week later my leather thread arrived! Not only does this shop have wonderful products authentic to Alaska but the service provided could NOT be better. read more

My wife and I bought some leather pillow cases and we were told they were made in Italy. They are not! The employees must have forgotten to remove the "Make in Turkey" label. Don't waste your time or money! read more

Absolutely amazing store with beautiful products. My sister got the most beautiful embroidered boots. However, the sales people were incredibly rude, namely a specific middle-aged woman. She was condescending when we didn't understand the sizing was different and proceeded to be rude to all of us. She stood behind us while my sister paid for the boots and rolled her eyes. It was completely uncalled for as we were all very nice and thanked them profusely for helping us. If the boots hadn't been something so unique, we would not have purchased from this establishment. read more

My wife and I picked up a fantastic rug at The Loom when on shore from a cruise. The staff spent a lot of time with us, in order to show all their options.
