We came there in the end of the season (September), so alas, they were out of the two coveted items of mine: raspberry blond beer and salmon chips. Bummer! Our super firnedly server informed us that they ran out like a month ago - I guess it has been a crazy busy tourist season. We still got a flight to taste, but nothing really stood out. If you are looking for some noshs, their choice is a little limited... But a great way to support the locals if you are in town!

We stopped into Klondike to try their beers and have a sitdown after walking around downtown Skagway. We were greeted warmly and seated on their heated back patio. It was comfortable and heated. Our waitress was super sweet and took our beer order quickly. I got the Devil's Punch Bowl Raspberry Wheat. The beers were both very good and we enjoyed some quiet conversation on comfy benches. Our waitress checked in a few times to make sure we were all good. While we only stayed for one beer, this is a quiet little cozy spot at the edge of downtown Skagway that is definitely worth checking out.

Really cute spot loved the patio and atmosphere, great place for larger groups or just a couple. Service was excellent, our server was the sweetest and gave us some local recommendations. The drinks and beer was solid but not my favorite I had in port but definitely still worth checking this place out!

We loved this spot. Skagway is already our favorite stop on the trip but this brewery had not only good beer but the service and ambiance was the best. Shoutout to our girl Destiny for sharing her story with us and making us feel right at home.

This was some of the best beer we had throughout our trip in Alaska. They had a dark beer that was the best I've ever had barring no one. I think it's called the Revenant. What a name. And I'm including European beers in that comparison. We sat out on the Adirondack chairs. There was an overhang and it was really cozy. The weather was definitely cooling, but we had a heater and remained very comfortable. The only problem is those Adirondack slope you back and the beer is so good, you don't wanna leave...

While visiting Skagway, someone highly recommended us to try Spruce Tip beer. Then specifically we were told that Klondike Brewing Co. was the best. Enter Austin Lincoln: We were pleasantly surprised and to be honest a bit shocked by the care and service which this Head Brewer showed us introducing us to their Whipsaw Spruce Ale. He explained the beer brewing process as well as the specific additions used in the Spruce tips process. Spruce tips even contain vitamin C ! Wonderful experience tasting this newly found beer - and I strongly dislike beer!! Would strongly recommend and would absolutely return.

Stopped in to try a locally brewed beer. Seating is a bit of a challenge, my wife is less than 5' and there are either high-top tables or no tables. We ordered drinks and the Smoked Local Salmon. The beer, the local Spruce Tip Blond, was good and the snack was very good. Our server was helpful. House-made root beer is very good.

This place was recommended by one of the summer workers who frequented the place. One of the best things about it is the back patio. You can sip on your brew while looking out at the mountains. We enjoyed a Slag-weizen and Sluicehead Pilsner.

Local beer and great atmosphere. We visited Klondike Brewing late in the tourist season and were extremely grateful it was open. The interior has a nice lodge feel, but seating was pretty limited. We opted for a couple of flights. It was fun to try a variety of beer and I noticed that their brews were all very straightforward. There weren't any fruity frills or overly ambitious twists. That approach fit the vibe though and they were definitely quality brews. One downside is that their flights are fixed with no substitutions. We hate IPAs, but had to have one included in our flight. We got both fixed menu flights, though. So we got to try most of their offerings! This was definitely a lovely stop for us on our vacation. If you're with a group and want to try some local brews, getting a couple of flights here is a great option.

Thr brewery has some good beers and a great view, I had the " 40 mile black lager, and the Revenant". The lager had a good flavor of a dunked and lager. The Revenant is a barrel aged that packs a punch. I would recommend this place for bothe view and beer.the padio was warm even in june

Ok. If you read my reviews you know I really enjoy breweries and this one was worth a stop. Love the rustic frontier store vibe but the beer is the highlight. Had a flight and was really happy. Staff was awesome and food looked great. We didn't eat as we had lunch at the other brewery in town. This brewer knows his/her business. If you are in Skagway do not skip this one. You will be sad if you don't go.

Good little brewery in Skagway in a town with a lot of little shops. The service was excellent- very fast and everything was brewed in house. It was a busy port day and there was still room there. They have 3 rooms, front, regular bar and an outdoor area that is good for warmer days.

This just start this off by letting you know this is the place in Skagway to have a beer. The service was absolutely amazing. Taby was a rockstar and her energy/vibes were on point as well. We bought some awesome merchandise t shirts, tin tackers, and we ended up even coming back later in the day again. Place was super busy, bathrooms were clean, decor all around was visually appealing. Even the person who was brewing beer came out and was super friendly with us at the table. Seriously wish we lived in town so we could go to this place all the time. Place was so busy and it looked under control the whole time. Taby talked to all tables and what I consider spent a good amount of time at every table listening to people's stories. I would consider her the Queen of Skagway since was the absolute highlight of our trip there. Great job Taby! If you end up going there, have a beer for me!

Everyone is here as there are 3 cruise ships in port today but, Skagway Brewing Company is down off the Main Street so it was quiet and it was also before 11am. Cute place! Quite large with dining upstairs and down with a bar upstairs too. I loved the sign by the bathroom. They have a balcony that is only for drinking. . Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a cool interior. We walked right in and were greeted friendly and sent upstairs where we immediately sat down. Our waitress was nice and took good care of us. I ordered the blackened southwest salad with halibut. OH MY GOODNESS! Their salad dressing is house made, the blackening spices they used on the halibut is house made AND they have an aeroponic garden so all their greens are grown right there and are the freshest and tastiest I've ever had! Now, I have to say, if you are in Alaska, GET HALIBUT!! I have to confess halibut is my absolute favorite fish so I died and went to heaven. Excellent salad! I ate every single bite and I got the full salad. Totally worth it. I also got their house made root beer that came in a super frosty mug and was delicious!! My husband got the beer flight that has four 2 oz beer pours. He also got the Brewer's Alaskan Halibut fish and chips. The fish was so hot and fresh he had to wait to eat for a bit! The fries were super tasty, crisp outside and perfectly cooked inside. He enjoyed his beers too! I'm a bit sad we won't be back in Skagway as I would eat here again! If you come to town, eat here. Do it. You will be very thankful! Also they have cute gift shop with swag on the first floor. Thanks Skagway Brewing Company!!

The brewer who did our tour was super enthusiastic and fun to hang out with. He made sure our glasses were topped off and gave a great talk about the workings of the brewery and his passion for beer. We got to try three 8-oz samples and a full pint, all included with the tour. The beer was good and the root beer was great. I highly recommend that you make sure to try the root beer and the coffee stout; they were the most delicious. The lighter beers were good too, but not as flavorful. The tour was too short, though. Our day in Skagway was quite long, and this only filled part of the afternoon. And it could easily have been longer, too, since getting people to chug four glasses of beer in less than an hour really rushes the experience. The bus company that took us to and from the brewery was also very good. The drivers talked extensively about the town and its history, even fielding impromptu questions.

The place is a brewery that apparently also does tours, food, and, from what we inferred, a bit of live music from time to time. We were only there long enough to taste beer, so I can really only speak to that. We did a tasting of six beers, and I can't say I much cared for any of them. A lot of them had a sour, funky kind of thing happening, which, if it was intentional, was just not to my taste. Some of the heavier ones were okay (bigger flavors masked some of the funky), but we couldn't finish the lighter ones because of it. At least the service was good.
