Biscuits and gravy
Rosie M.

This is the perfect place to stop for a quick bite and a warm coffee before facing the blustery Skagway streets. The staff are warm and the seatting provides a place to huddle up in for a bit to enjoy some truly tasty food! The Hikers Delight drink is the perfect combination of caffeination and vanilla chai tastiness and I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy. Ask about the crows and you can get the down low about some pretty cool local birds. Thank you for a wonderful start to the mornin'! Rm

The Sittin' Sasquatch The food and service were great! Red was very knowledgeable about the area and shared some sightseeing tips with us.

Great food and service! Red was fun to talk to and gave us some awesome tips about things to see in Skagway.

Breakfast sandwich on sourdough Biscuits and gravy + side of bacon

Great breakfast sandwich and homemade sausage biscuits and gravy! The service was friendly and attentive. We came about 815am with 3 cruise ships in Port and no issue getting a table for a quick breakfast and coffee. Would highly recommend for a quick and delicious breakfast and coffee!

This place was HIGHLY disappointing. I was coming off of my Disney Cruise and was looking for food after getting some bread(went to the Klondike doughboy and it was amazing ) anyways my party and I walk in and getting seated and I order my turkey sandwich and told the server to make it without provalone and I see him write it down so I think everything's good but when the sandwich comes out 25 minutes later, it has provolone cheese so I asked the hostess an older lady with blonde hair "can you please take my sandwich back there's cheese on it and I'm lactose intolerant" she replies " no I can't, there's no cheese on the sandwich I saw the cook make it himself" so at that point I was fed up and went to the kitchen myself and asked the cook to make it again without provalone and he made it much quicker than before and it came out in 5 minutes. The hostess did not apologize to me when served the check and the the food was 4/10 at best sandwich and seafood chowder. Service needs improvement but food quality is fine given the circumstances of where they are located.

Really enjoyed this Raindeer Hot Dog w/ sauerkraut

This places coffee was overpriced and very very watery! Barista was friendly but other than that I would not recommend getting coffee here!

This is our first stop on our Alaska Cruise. After doing the White Pass Railway we walked into…read moretown. Everyone is here as there are 3 cruise ships in port today but, Skagway Brewing Company is down off the Main Street so it was quiet and it was also before 11am. Cute place! Quite large with dining upstairs and down with a bar upstairs too. I loved the sign by the bathroom. They have a balcony that is only for drinking. . Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a cool interior. We walked right in and were greeted friendly and sent upstairs where we immediately sat down. Our waitress was nice and took good care of us. I ordered the blackened southwest salad with halibut. OH MY GOODNESS! Their salad dressing is house made, the blackening spices they used on the halibut is house made AND they have an aeroponic garden so all their greens are grown right there and are the freshest and tastiest I've ever had! Now, I have to say, if you are in Alaska, GET HALIBUT!! I have to confess halibut is my absolute favorite fish so I died and went to heaven. Excellent salad! I ate every single bite and I got the full salad. Totally worth it. I also got their house made root beer that came in a super frosty mug and was delicious!! My husband got the beer flight that has four 2 oz beer pours. He also got the Brewer's Alaskan Halibut fish and chips. The fish was so hot and fresh he had to wait to eat for a bit! The fries were super tasty, crisp outside and perfectly cooked inside. He enjoyed his beers too! I'm a bit sad we won't be back in Skagway as I would eat here again! If you come to town, eat here. Do it. You will be very thankful! Also they have cute gift shop with swag on the first floor. Thanks Skagway Brewing Company!!

The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. My husband enjoyed their amber ale. Definitely have a variety to choose from as well as wine. They also have a great selection of food items. People were waiting to get a table for lunch. Would definitely recommend this brewing company to anyone who visits Skagway, Alaska.

We were so glad we did. The hostess was a gem (sorry I forgot your name sweetie) who was juggling managing the front as well as helping clear and prep the tables. She did a great job keeping everyone informed of their wait. When it was our turn she gave us a choice of tables since I am in a wheelchair, which I thought was very helpful. Our server Rori introduced herself and told us that they just seated a group of ten, and if we were ready to order she could get us in so we could get our food before the big group. It worked out perfectly! We shared the two piece king crab and it was delicious! Tender and sweet. Unlike other famous places in town and in Juneau, which we have tried, who were extremely salty. These were perfect! Turns out they are steamed and not cooked in a vat of saltwater. Hubby ate every bit of the fried Halibut and said it was perfect!! We can't wait to come back next year and try the sweet tea which looks like two or more servings and comes in a cute fish bottle. We also want to try the chowder or bisque!! Thanks Rori and team!!

I ordered them hot and they were hot when they arrived. They were actually very delicious. They were on a bed of arugula with a bit of melted butter, which was strange. The menu said that they were steamed in Old Bay, but I didn't get a lot of Old Bay flavor. The flavor I did get was a slightly curry feeling with lemongrass and a little bit of a zing. They were delicious! I looked at other people's plates, including the crab. The king crab looked great, but was very expensive. During the summer on Saturday night, they offer sushi specials so I'll go back to check that out later.
