On my latest install, they were professional from start to finish, although not perfect in some areas (more on that later). I'll start with the issues, and then close with the positives. On our first house, I encountered some disappointing challenges during the execution/installation phase. Our garden was trampled on, one of the windows were installed on the wrong spot, and a light fixture was damaged and the crew tried (poorly) fixing it without notifying me (all caught on CCTV). With all that said though, the company stands by doing the right thing and resolved everything on a timely manner. How it was handled was much appreciated and influenced me to use them again and refer others. On our second house, almost everything went smoothly. All windows were replaced in just two days! Just encountered a minor hiccup when a wall was damaged and a worker claimed it was pre-existing. Luckily, I purposely took before-photos and was able to provide evidence that it was not pre-existing. In the end, it was fixed within satisfaction. As for the positives, I really have to give credit to Milton, the supervisor on the second house. He was very professional and accommodating. On one of the windows, he found water damage and pointed it out to me instead of trying to cover it up. The damage and source were all fixed. Seriously, he could have moved on and I would have never known! All the windows were installed to my satisfaction. Few minor quirks remained, but possibly due to the window manufacture (or so I was explained). Also appreciate how floors snd countertops are covered to prevent/reduce damage and dust. I recommend this company. Here are some tips before using them (or any other window company): - Take lots of photos of each window before the work starts. Ensure to get several close ups and different angles of the trim and corners, both inside and out. Ensure good lighting for a useful photo. - Check with your HOA to see if it's the window replacements are allowed. Some care about colors of trim and grid vs non-grid. - Expect the order to take several months to come in. Get your quote early if it's a house you plan on moving in.

I was given a tour of the work rooms where they do their "magic" to assemble these beautiful doors, all the way from the planks of wood with the bark still intact to the gorgeous finished product. We will def use them again for the rest of our windows! We replaced an old builder grade front door and put storm doors on all exterior doors. The front door is composite but it looks like real wood. It is really beautiful. The installations were all perfect and comprehensive. The Cambridge crew did a great job on everything: professional, great work, on time, and neat. Diana coordinated the installations and kept us well informed at all stages. One small hiccup is being resolved as I write this. They don't have a big crew so we had to be a bit flexible on scheduling, but they show up when they say they will and work hard the whole time. We will definitely use them again when we replace French doors on patio. Highly recommend this company, we are happy with everything!

I needed to replace a large 2-window set on the 2nd floor of my townhome. A primary concern was…read morethat there might be water damage inside the structure of the building, due to rain seeping in over several years. I called several of the big companies... Window World (ridiculously and suspiciously cheap, and quoted a price without even seeing the house), Renewal by Anderson (bizarrely and obscenely expensive), and Gulf Coast (wouldn't even look at it because they want to do more windows at a time), plus a glass company to replace just the glass. NONE of these companies could assure me they had the skills or desire to check for structural damage, let alone do any needed repairs. Some of them made noise like they would, but I had the feeling they would just pop out a window and slap a new one in its place, without regard to the integrity of the structure holding it all in place. Price wise, Rick Scanlin of Affordable Windows & Siding fell to the lower end of the middle. And he was the ONLY company who gave me confidence that they could detect and repair any rotted or unstable wood inside the walls. Since his company also does siding, I knew that they could fix any problems with the siding, too, if need be. On install day, the crew was on-time. They took good care of the yard, and did a great job of cleaning up, too, no broken glass anywhere, which is good, because I'm out there in bare feet all the time. :) Nice guys, too, all of them. The windows look super, and are double pane, will keep heat and sun and noise out of the room, won't warp, have a lifetime warrantee, which even includes breakage, and is even transferable if I sell the house. And the lip where you put your finger to lift the window is wide enough to get a good grip - many other brands are really difficult to grab a hold of. Rick was a good communicator during the initial visit and during the time while my windows were being constructed. I am also happy that I chose to use a smaller, independent company (like my own), and they definitely gave much better service and know-how than Window World or Anderson or Gulf Coast.
