Sometimes installing windows can be a pane, but Houston Window Experts makes it easier than…read moreexpected. I used them twice for different houses, so that alone is a testament of my good experience with this company. On my latest install, they were professional from start to finish, although not perfect in some areas (more on that later). I'll start with the issues, and then close with the positives. On our first house, I encountered some disappointing challenges during the execution/installation phase. Our garden was trampled on, one of the windows were installed on the wrong spot, and a light fixture was damaged and the crew tried (poorly) fixing it without notifying me (all caught on CCTV). With all that said though, the company stands by doing the right thing and resolved everything on a timely manner. How it was handled was much appreciated and influenced me to use them again and refer others. On our second house, almost everything went smoothly. All windows were replaced in just two days! Just encountered a minor hiccup when a wall was damaged and a worker claimed it was pre-existing. Luckily, I purposely took before-photos and was able to provide evidence that it was not pre-existing. In the end, it was fixed within satisfaction. As for the positives, I really have to give credit to Milton, the supervisor on the second house. He was very professional and accommodating. On one of the windows, he found water damage and pointed it out to me instead of trying to cover it up. The damage and source were all fixed. Seriously, he could have moved on and I would have never known! All the windows were installed to my satisfaction. Few minor quirks remained, but possibly due to the window manufacture (or so I was explained). Also appreciate how floors snd countertops are covered to prevent/reduce damage and dust. I recommend this company. Here are some tips before using them (or any other window company): - Take lots of photos of each window before the work starts. Ensure to get several close ups and different angles of the trim and corners, both inside and out. Ensure good lighting for a useful photo. - Check with your HOA to see if it's the window replacements are allowed. Some care about colors of trim and grid vs non-grid. - Expect the order to take several months to come in. Get your quote early if it's a house you plan on moving in.

Super responsive, emails and pictures nearly every day with progress reports, and they meet timeline and budget. The workspace and adjacent household are kept in immaculate condition, and the post-job cleanup is thorough. You cannot ask for better than Haro. We've had multiple contractors over the years, and Haro is clearly the best.

Mortar splashed all over baseboards and doors. Areas with no caulk. Some areas with caulk were done extremely sloppy. There were uneven cuts around corners. One side would be a certain thickness and then another side would be another thickness. Worst of all they did not wipe the grout off properly from the tile. They left grout to sit on the tile and grout had etched our brand new limestone floors everywhere. They also stained it in many places too. Eddie had the guys come back and try and get it out themselves, but we're not able to. So the guy that we paid to professionally seal our floors, Eddie had to pay $4000 to polish and restore our floors. However many of the stains and etching still not able to get out! We are glad that Eddie one of the owners forked over the money to make it right. Eddie does seem like a good guy and he is professional, but his subcontractors just seems very amateur. we have had lots of marble tile installed, and I have never seen our marble etched or so many imprecise cuts or lack of caulking. They installed tiles with big chips in them without thoroughly inspecting. They couldn't even get a transition, right . The wood transition in our bedroom doesn't even match the other transitions. This is very amateur. I've never had a contractor not be able to match a stain. This is very basic knowledge in the industry to do. And he was asking me how to do it as the homeowner. I thought that's what I was paying you for. Also, they left empty soda cans, just laying around in our kitchen. Tile and debris from the dumpster just laying all over our driveway. All in all, this was an awful experience. The final product is acceptable, but there's still a lot of flaws. And of course, the time and money that it took to rectify the situation. I regret hiring this company and wish that we would've hired someone else . I recommend finding a company that has its own in-house installers and does not use these subcontractors.
