The phone was answered immediately by Alicia who was so helpful, listened to what we needed done and set up an appointment for us immediately, which we were so grateful for. The electric wire going into the house was hanging very low and we realized the attachment on the house (for lack of a better explanation) was hanging off the house. Alicia asked us to send photos and I did with a comment" didn't realize how bad it was". Her response was "I've seen worse" so right off the bat she made me feel better. She asked if we wanted her to send someone to give us a quote, but we didn't want to waste time on that so said no. She quoted us how much it would be per hour (+ materials) and we were very happy with the final price (we felt very reasonable). The 2 electricians were here at 8:30 on a day when it was below 20 degrees!! They did a great job and were in/out in a little over an hour. So happy to know that if we need electrical work done in the future, we have a place to call!!

We met a few days later, discussed the proposed work and I was told that I'd get a proposal via E-mail. This happened before Labor Day. I received nothing in the mail that weekend, and I waited a few extra days before contacting Tom for status. He told me he was having problems with mail. OK, but a call would have been nice, and if he had worked up an estimate he could have given it to me over the phone. Instead I was told he'd get right on it, or something to that effect. To this day, 10-11-24, I have heard nothing! Fine, if you don't want the job just say so. I contacted another electrical contractor who looked at the job one day and had a crew there 2 days later to complete it in an efficient, professional manner. I hate to use the terms efficient and professional in the same paragraph that mentions Leinster Electric, since Leinster is neither. If their Customer Service attitude is any indication of how they approach a job. Steer Clear! They do not deserve the 1 star I was forced to select.
