If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I went to Speedway Express Car Wash to ask some questions about a pending oil change. On my way there, my tire was punctured and want flat. Thankfully, it was at a nearby Shell Gas Station so I was close enough for a walk. I asked Speedway if they could put my donut tire on my car and they told me to talk to Glen. Glen works at SJ. I did not know this when I went there. I have severe nerve damage in my hands, which makes changing tires extremely difficult for me. I have Roadside Assistance for this reason, but they were extremely busy today and I would have had to wait 3 hours for assistance. Seeing as how I thought Glen worked for Speedway, I had planned to pay him for this service. After I divorced my husband, he took my full size spare tire and my donut tire without my knowledge until Glen had removed my flat. While he was in the process of removing the tire, I apologized for the inconvenience. Once I realized no tire to replace the flat, I asked if he would be kind enough to put it back on and he did. As I was getting in my car to leave, I apologized again for wasting his time. He responded with "I don't come to work to fix your f*cking tires for free." I was taken aback and asked "Are you serious?" He yelled at me to "Go away," as he walked off. I called up Speedway to inquire about reporting him, and that's when I learned that SJ is not part of Speedway and is a private business. I told Speedway what he said to me anyway, and the employee said that Glen would never say that. I asked him what my reason for lying about that would be since SJ and Speedway are not related businesses. I just said that maybe he should think twice before referring customers there if that's the treatment they will receive. Seeing as how I didn't spend any money, me saying I will never go there again probably doesn't seem like a threat that holds a lot of weight, but I have 8 family members that also go there and I will tell them what happened and they will stop going, as well. So Speedway just lost 9 customers, as did potentially Glen. read more
