My unibrow has been in need of some care for a while and I kept putting off going to get them done because I hadn't really been happy with the previous results from the many shops I had visited. I was waiting to place a carry out order in a restaurant and noticed how great the eyebrows of the person taking orders looked. When I placed my order, I also asked her where she got her eyebrows done, to which she replied, 'In Alsip, I get them threaded". I didn't want to hold up the other orders so I didn't ask for more specific information. I check the internet for eyebrow threading in Alsip, IL. and I came across one shop, Sizzor Trix! The shop is conveniently located in a strip mall just west of Pulaski on 127th street. I read the reviews and was excited to go see Niki. I was not disappointed...Niki quickly (less than 10 minutes) took care of my unibrow and quite beautifully. I took one look in the mirror and realized I had found my new ebrow home! My brows were beautifully arched and look very natural. As stated in one of the other reviews, there was a tiny bit of discomfort, but well worth it (nothing like the discomfort I sometimes experienced the next day after getting my brows waxed...and let's not even discuss the pain of plucking)! I used to go to Nikki for eyebrow threading when she worked at Orland Mall. It wasn't strange for there to be a long line of women just waiting for Nikki. I kid you not, this woman is TALENTED, and I have never, ever been disappointed in the work she has done on me. One day, I discovered she was no longer working at Orland Mall and had no idea where she went. I was offered $5 off on my first Groupon Now! purchase and noticed that I would only pay $1 to get my eyebrows threaded at Sizzor Trix. I obviously bought it, and who was the threading artist? NIKKI! I'm so glad I finally found her. She does Groupon Now!s pretty often I believe, and they are $6 as opposed to $8 (I think). I believe she has $5 deals on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Nikki also has a frequent customer card where you will get your fifth or sixth eyebrow threading free. I am a very, very PICKY person when it comes to my eyebrows. I check, double check and re- check when I get them done. I found Nikki at the Orland Square Mall over 7 years ago. I found out she left and tracked her down at Sizzor Trix. I drive 25 minutes out of my way just to have her do my brows. She is OUTSTANDING. Again, I can be a pain in the a$$ as a customer because my brows are everything to me-with Nikki, I have a seat and relax. She knows what I like and is very efficient. She does not rush you even if 5 other girls are waiting. She went on vacation for a month, no one touched my brows, hell I looked like a man but it was worth the wait...lol. I go here for Threading the place is great It's warm & inviting from the moment you step inside Niki is the owner and will take care or your every threading need. She is a perfectionist and focuses on your every unwanted hair. I like to call her a eyebrow stylist. Her shop has a full service salon from mani / pedi, even hair stylist . She services every client.... Men& Women she is located right on the corner of 127th and Pulaski in Alsip. It's better than any mall threading place. I desperately needed to get my eyebrows done and came across an offer for this place on Groupon. I decided to give it a try and my experience was awesome! The lady who did my eyebrows, Niki, was very professional and expedient. My wait time was very short, the salon had an inviting ambiance, and everything was arranged nicely. I don't live anywhere near this establishment as I stay in the city; however, it was truly worth the trip and will be returning. Not only that, Niki gave me a demonstration on her nails of how the "crackled" nail polish works - amazed I was, so I purchased a bottle for myself. I highly recommend this place!! read more

I've been to a few different eyebrow threading places ( all of which I felt ruined my eyebrows) before coming to Nikki. She was able to get my eyebrows back to where I had them before and even shaped them better. I brought her in a couple pictures and she knew exactly how to shape them. i found Nikki thru friend and i looked up on yelp to find Nikki is very very good at what she does so i went to her shop to get my eyebrows done. let me tell you guys NIKKI is awesome. Her skills are worth lot more then she charges, Her salon looks nice and clean. she also sells eyebrow powder that looks great.
