(: I was searching for a place to go quickly on such short notice since I myself am leaving for vacation in a couple of days & I came across this lounge, who not only took me luckily very last minute but was very sweet & informative when inquiring about their services! I booked an eyebrow threading & lip wax with Shay. She was SO sweet & took her time! She even gave me a very relaxing facial gua sha massage & put me on to their vegan brow gel that made my eyebrows almost looked laminated in itself! I will definitely be a regular customer now! The lounge was very neat & had so much cute items to look at/purchase, I will be definitely be buying more next appointment! The reviews & pictures of their brow services are what mainly sold me to come here as well & I was not disappointed. On a side note, they had parking in the front & back of the lounge as well, which was a plus.

Their policy/procedure is to wax the butt and labia first with hard wax/sugar wax and then they use the soft wax with the strips on the mons pubis. I personally do not like getting waxed with strips. I'm prone to getting ingrown hairs with strips. Perhaps this was my own ignorance but I didn't read on their site about them using both waxes. Had I known this I wouldn't have booked. My esthetician was wonderful. She was a 5/5. Very friendly and professional.

I find that the younger woman who works with them is very entitled and has an attitude. She walked in on me undressed when she wasn't my waxer because she needed the waxing cart for her client in the room next door. NOT OKAY. I wish I didn't tip. I booked with Kushi again for this month. I showed up on time for my appointment. Kushi was not there. The two girls were not aware of an appointment and were not expecting me. When I asked for Kushi and they saw I was disappointed about her not being there when I specifically booked with her for wax... the younger woman again said something in her language to the other lady about me and that's when they acted like there was no appointment. I went in regardless thought I'd give someone new a try. The wax bottles were not melted at all. We barely did a like 3 strips and she asked to let the wax melt..... I wasn't going to wait and I just felt very annoyed and disappointed. Unprofessional to say the least. I'll never be coming here again. And yes the wax bottles are shared between clients so unsanitary.

They make it easy for you to book online through Square. They did a really good job with threading my eyebrows, lip, chin and neck. I love that it's precise, and she listened to my needs with my eyebrows. They have plenty of free parking on premise, and they also have a punch card. Onto my issues: 1) they do not wear gloves whatsoever for waxing services on your stomach, butt etc. I get it if they don't for face services, but in my experience at any facility that does hair removal, this is the first time where someone did not wear gloves. Yes, she did hand sanitize but it kind of irks me in terms of sanitation. Knock on wood I haven't caught anything yet, and they did get the job done though. I just won't be back for body services because of this. 2) it was one person working there the entire time. I made an appointment, and she was expecting me but there was still a bit of a wait as they take walk-ins as well and I was running a few minutes behind. 3) she would not stop upselling me. I get it - I have been a sales rep before, but it's a problem when I tell you multiple times that I am not interested. I am also not someone who came in for just an eyebrow. What is also interesting to me is that the other people around me who only got an eyebrow service was not upsold. TLDR; I'd be back for facial threading services exclusively, and it is the only thing here that I can recommend to others, unless you are ok with someone touching your body and private areas without gloves.

She may be good at lashes, after the second day they were so dry and brittle I could not wait for them to come out. Her other clients may be pleased but I was not. As far as my brows, they look like Frankenbrows. They pretty much look like they were drawn on with a sharpie. She text me a couple of days ago to send her more clients, I told her I could not do that because of the result of my brows. When I sent her a picture she accused me of having facial treatments as in Botox, not the case. And then she said there was no way possible that I left her shop with these brows. The Brows in the pictures on her Facebook page are photoshopped and I promise they did not turn out well. The color is turning into an ugly charcoal gray and the shape is not flattering. Please do your research before you see anyone for permanent facial tattooing. Once these fade I will be going to a qualified makeup artist. I witnessed this firsthand when I walked in the salon this morning! I wanted a pedicure and fill in and I was accommodated immediately. I was greeted with a smile and Jenny started in on my pedicure! Jenny was thorough and nice. She showed me the scan to get a free beverage while I enjoyed my chair massage and pedicure. It was amazing to see such special touches Tina and Dong has in place for their customers. Jenny did a superb job on my feet and they were as soft as a baby's bottom. All while doing my pedi she checked in to see if I was ok and if I like the nails. She took her time which I appreciated. As soon as I was done with my pedi I was whisked over to the manicure seat to get my French manicure. To my surprise Tina the owner was the manicurist! I knew immediately that she was the owner because she had on a name tag, which I love ! This is another special touch that Tina and Dong provide that sets them apart from the other local nail shops. I truly appreciate knowing the person who's completing the services for me! Tina was so humble, down to earth and kind ! I asked her if she was the owner and she shyly said yes, how did you know? The branding : name tags, tshirts and aprons the employees and owners wear really brings in the brand of TD's nail salon. Conversation with Tina was so nice and it was as if we were old friends and I had just met her for the first time today. Tina quickly and thoroughly completed my manicure to perfection! All while giving me advice on a new liquid nail service her salon provides that will not only help my natural nail but will ensure that the nail that I get next time will not be as thick ( I had gotten my nails done at another shop not to be mentioned and the powder that was put on was very thick), even with this issue, Tina was able to seamlessly fill in my nail as if she had completed the nail manicure originally! I came in to TD's Nail Salon today as a treat for Mothers Day weekend from my husband and kids and I found this place one because they were open early on Saturday 9:30 which was earlier than any other nail shop in the area, and two because of the great reviews I read on Yelp! I will be coming back and telling everyone I know about this gem of a place because of the excellent customer service, the superior quality of work and the economical pricing they provide as well as the serene atmosphere they provide in their building. This nail shop has only been open for a week but I can already tell with the quality of work they are delivering they will be successful for years to come! Thanks Tina, Dong, Jenny and the entire TD nail family for making my nail experience during this Mothers Day Weekend so special !!

It's shouldn't be a problem if it's something I'm going to have to wear on my feet for the next several weeks and I'm paying for the service but I didn't make it a big deal. I also asked if there was a free drink with service since the women next to me received one. The technicians we had our services with were Staci, Kelli and I believe one other woman where we booked Bridal hair and makeup. On my first visit with Staci unfortunately the makeup turned out so poorly it was recommended I go with someone else to complete my look. I really appreciated her honesty and understanding that she was unable to deliver on what I wanted and so I decided to go forward with booking our Bridal parties hair and makeup here. Communication: after we created our appointments and I had requested airbrush makeup for my look I was very surprised when Kelly confirmed my appointment and did not do airbrush but she promised me it would turn out beautiful so begrudgingly I went ahead. Hair- unfortunately even though I had shared we were going to be dancing quite a bit and I have thick hair that does very well with a good amount of hairspray and hair pins, each of our hair fell within just a couple hours. It was quite sad as of course we had a photographer to capture this day. We were constantly fussing trying to push the pins back in and trying to salvage the updos. Makeup- I was positive that the pictures were going to turn out flawless because the look when I left the salon did look very nice and overall was what I requested with a few adjustments and recommendations on my end. However once I received all of the pictures back I noticed how glaringly awful the raccoon concealer looked under my eyes. It is incredibly obvious that my skin is almost three shades a different when picked up by the photos. I am so sad about this our only recourse is to pay to photoshop all the photos I am in. Overall this place is really cute and I really wanted to like it I really enjoyed working with Kelly but unfortunately the quality of the work that came out of everyone's experience was all of our hair was ruined within less than half the night and unfortunately all the professional pictures we took were ruined by how my makeup showed up on camera. This is so disappointing I don't even know what to say.
