My wife asked me to post a review on this place. She loves it. She goes here to get her eyebrows done. They take a string and start rubbing it all over her forehead........I don't know. Whatever they're doing, she thinks they're great. They have special prices on Mondays and Tuedays. read more

Nikki always does a wonderful job on my eyebrows!! Although I moved out of the area I still choose to come back to her for great results each time! You won't have regrets coming to her your services here read more

Nikky is the best! My daughter and I have been going to her for over 10yrs and she does an amazing job with eyebrows. She's always so nice and friendly! read more

Will not be back!!! I've really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I can't speak for Nikki but the other girl's work are complete trash. Eyelash strips/extensions are not even, threading is uneven and not customized to YOUR eye shape, eyebrow tinting is so see through and uneven. How can someone apply tinting and eyelash strips while standing behind someone??? I've given this place multiple chances and they NEVER get it right! I'm tired of wasting my money. Plus they speak in another language so I don't know if I'm being talked about. My tinting only lasted 2 days and they destroyed my eyebrow shape. They are way too thin. If you are a rush and go girl that doesn't know what skillful eyelash/eyebrow work looks like, then this is the place for you. read more

Best place for threading. They are amazing! Always satisfied when I leave there. I have been a customer for years and would not think about going anywhere else. read more

Love how Nicki does the eyebrows. There are so many other places closer to me but I would go the distance for her! The other women that work there are equally as good. She also has great deals! read more

I love Nicky on my brows!!! Her service is always superb and the shop is always clean! No long wait times except on the weekends and Monday and Tuesday are 5.00 eyebrow threading days! read more

I wish I could rate with 0 stars! My mother gifted me with a Groupon for an eye brow threading. One of the associates refused my Groupon because it was written down on a coupon card, by an associate that no longer worked there. Not to mention she totally BUTCHERED MY EYEBROWS!!!!! I feel bad that my mother wasted her money at such a dysfunctional place. read more

I have been going here for years and they always do an amazing job on my eyebrows but I was beyond disappointed when I went to get my eyebrows done yesterday. The threader left my eyebrows so thin after I had let them grow out for 2 months so they could look thicker.she not only let them so thin but so uneven one eyebrow is thicker than the other. read more

Nikki made my brows perfect and she was done a minute after sitting in the chair. Your in and out looking beautiful in no time

Had a bad wax with a salon so I grew my eyebrows for a few months and decided to go to Niki. She took her time with my eyebrows and explained the threading and tinting process really well. Will definitely be back!!! read more

Sizzor Trix - Eyebrows threaded and tinted. Ask for Niki - Threading Services Near Me - Alsip, Illinois

Let me preface this review by saying this is my longest relationship ever! I've been Nikki's customer for over 15 yrs, following her from salon to salon until she finally opened her own. She's so talented and quick! She's super sweet, gracious and listens to what the customer wants. She's gotten so busy over the last couple of years that I started hesitantly sitting with her other employees for lack of time. They've also done a great job and I always leave here happy with my signature brows! read more

Nikki is the best and know how to make your eyebrows twins, when they're actually sisters

Awesome! I've tried many other establishments that were not consistent with the work. This place rocks very friendly, and professional. On a scale 1 to 10 this place gets a big 10. BEST EYEBROW THREADING IN THE SOUTH SUBURBS EVER!!! read more

Sizzor Trix - BEFORE AND AFTER - Threading Services Near Me - Alsip, Illinois

I arrived there about 10:30am on a Monday. Only niki was there and when I asked for a haircut, she politely asked me to wait and she went out to the dollar store next door. A man came in, niki was still gone and he asked me if I wanted a haircut to which I said sure. I had showered and washed my hair before going there. He started cutting my hair and made a lot of comments to it: losing hair, dry scalp, whoever cut my hair last did a bad job. He also knocked off competitions like hair current and the brow bar at Chicago ridge. The convo was pretty awkward. And he charged me $15. I asked about the sign that said $8.99, he said that's for kids even tho I did not see "kids" anywhere on the sign. And I asked for an inch off and I think he cut more than that. But it's ok. I can work w it. I had the groupon for the $6 threading. The man left and niki came back. At first she told me to come back a week bc I had baby hairs. Then she offered to brush it up for me since I bought the groupon already. She did a good job w my brows, and it's painless compared to my experiences w other places. The Internet was out at the time and I didn't have cash so she and the man had to keep running to the store next door to charge. And as it turned out, the haircut should've been $10 not $15, bc the guy thought niki had washed my hair hence the extra $5 charged. But it evened out since there was some groupon complications and Internet complications that prevented me from paying any more for the brows. I would've given 3 for the haircut and the guy but niki was very nice and accommodating and fair so hence the extra star. $8 brows, $5 brows on mon and tues $10 adult haircut $15 adult haircut and wash $8.99 "kids haircut" I still don't know how much they charge for pedi's, mani's. There were signs w different prices so it was confusing and a bit frustrating. Anyway, just ask for niki and bring cash in case their internet is out again. And probably best to come in the afternoon and not morning since only one person is in the store. read more

Niki is a brow guru! I've been a customer of hers for about 3 years already. I heard of her from word-of-mouth. I'm so happy I found Niki! She's detailed and knows about shaping and cleaning up your eyebrows. Eyebrow threading is $5 on Monday and Tuesday (cash only), but I don't mind paying regular price of $8 when I have to see her on the weekend. She's the best. read more

Nikki is amazing!! She does such an amazing job!! Very nice staff as well. Good prices too!!

I wanted to switch up where I usually get my brows done because they were getting too busy. This place very close to where I live and Yelpers gave it favorable reviews. Niki did a great job, and it wasn't overly painful. My eyebrows were evenly done (which has been difficult for some to accomplish since I have a permanent scar under one of them). Monday and Tuesday is $5 (cash only; they charge an extra dollar if you utilize plastic); $8 dollars the remainder of the week. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a good eyebrow threading. read more

I had the same experience with the male "stylist"! He asked who cut my hair before and knocked them, told me my hair was falling out, then 5 minutes later told me I had healthy hair. He also mentioned that he is a full time student, owns and manages the dollar store next door, and sells cars, all while he's a hair dresser?! I asked for a long bob, a very simple cut I imagine, and one side of my hair is a long bob with some layers, but the other side has some short and some long layers that go in a diagonal down the side of y head. Not a good look. So so disappointed. And they charged me $25 for my hair cut and wash, but he didn't ask if I wanted a blow dry so I couldn't tell how ridiculous I looked! I'm going to stick with Studio K, same price, excellent service, and great at what they do! And only a little over a mile away! read more

Thanks Pooja for my amazing eyebrows I rarely let anyone do my eyebrows except for Nikki which is amazing at what she does but Nikki wasn't in the salon the day I went to get my eyebrows done and I really needed them done so I tried one of her associates which I was so scared but I'm glad I did because Pooja did an amazing job she took her time and followed exactly how I told her I wanted them. 5 stars to Pooja!!!! read more

Had eyebrow threading service today. Great service by Nikki. Only "complaint" I have is this: Don't have a personal conversation in another language while servicing a client. It's kind of the equivalent of me taking a personal call while helping a client. I'll still be back because she gave me gorgeous eyebrows!! read more

I Love Nikki...she is the owner of Sizzor Trix and she is very talented. I have been going to Sizzor Trix for six years now and it's always consistent. The prices are very fair & she offers everything brow threading, lashes, underarm, chin, brow, leg, & arm waxing. I've been enjoying the new hard wax for my chin & underarms, but I'm always a fan of the brow threading. read more

I went here off a referral from my sister. I must say I was really impressed with the service. Nikki noticed my stomach right away and she engaged accordingly. I was about 16 and half weeks pregnant, I could barely lay back without struggling, and I was still suffering with first trimester symptoms. Therefore, when she applied the tent to my eyebrows, I instantly became nauseous. I had to ran outside to puke. Nikki helped me up and she was really patient with me. She modified the products more because of my circumstances and managed to she still do an amazing job! I will be back! read more

Nikki is an eyebrow goddess! I came here because I've heard tons of great reviews. I've only gotten my eyebrows done once my whole life and I didn't like the experience so I just stuck with tweezing my eyebrows myself. But since prom is coming up I decided to grow out my eyebrows for a couple months and get them professionally done. Nikki was so friendly! I told her it was my first time and she was very welcoming. I didn't really know what I wanted with my eyebrows I just wanted them to look beautiful. And Nikki made them gorgeous!! Will definitely be coming back regularly! read more

I started coming here based on a Groupon and have been a customer ever since. I've been coming to Scissor Trix for years and had my eyebrows and lashes done numerous times. On Monday and Tuesday eyebrow threading is $5 and it can get very packed but the ladies here greet everyone and work hard to keep the wait short. If you don't like to wait the cost is about $8 any other time. I've never left unhappy with my brows or lashes. I drive 30 minutes to get my brows done here. They are THAT good! read more

Niki is the best eyebrow girl around! Aside from her talented threading, she does great eyelashes and is now doing Mink lashes! If you need a good beauty spot, stop by, I'm sure you'll love her services! read more

I found out about Sizzor Trix by purchasing a Groupon Now deal for an eyebrow threading. Nikki did a FANTASTIC job! This was the first time getting my brows done via the threading method and I like it a lot better than the wax. I did have some slight irritation probably because this was a new method for me, but it went away after about 10 minutes. It only took about 10 minutes for her to thread both brows and I must say that I was very impressed by the outcome. I usually go up north to get my brows waxed and pay over $20, but I will definitely be coming back to Nikki. She has a customer for life. read more

I had some pretty high expectations coming here because I've heard so many great things about it. I have very particular eyebrows and although I asked for just a clean up, a lot more than a clean up was done. One eye brow is a lot longer than the other while she also took off a lot more than needed at the front of one brow which is a section that takes the longest to grow back. Every time I try and fill in my eyebrows it's so difficult because they have such a bad shape. I seriously cannot wait for them to grow out. She was also done in a matter of 5 minutes and the didn't even take off the hairs she was supposed to take off in the middle. And once she finished up, she didn't even offer me aloe or lotion. I was pretty disappointed. I will not be returning. read more

I came here initially because I purchased a Groupon Now deal for eyebrow threading. I will continue to come back because I agree that Niki does an awesome job. She pointed out that due to past threading done incorrectly, my eyebrows didn't match in my arch area. As I looked closer, she was right. Thankfully she was able to fix this issue and I have been getting a lot of compliments on my eyebrows. I like this place better than the Chicago Ridge or Orland mall. It's closer to my house, cheaper, and Niki offers a free threading after 5 visits. If you are in the area, check it out! read more

I visited the salon because of a Living Social deal and was quite impressed with the service that I received. Nikki is great and she is indeed all of the good things that everyone on the site has raved about. I am very picky about my eyebrows and she did an excellent job. She's also friendly and personable! If you're on the far southwest side of Chicago (Alsip) - she's definitely worth giving a try! read more

My first time coming here and nikki was very pleasant and she did a really good job considering the fact I don't trust many people to do my eyebrows. I will be coming back!!!! read more

I come here for eyebrow threading and I usually get Nikki, she is amazing in her craft of threading my eyebrows usually take a while to grow back in and they come in uneven and Nikki makes them symmetrical and flawless in the five minutes in which it takes for her to finish. However I have noticed that the other ladies who work in the shop especially the younger female are not at all comparable to Nikki's abilities. Trust everyone on here and spare yourself and only see Nikki. She does a great job with no pain or redness afterwards, she will never let you down. Mondays and Tuesdays are $5 threading otherwise it is $8. Call before you come Nikki is not always there in the evenings. read more

I live in the vacinity of Sizzor Trix and passed the location on a daily basis, I used to go to another threading establishment but everytime I went I got a different person. Nikki did my brows and i LOVE them, they are great and I have been back twice since my initial visit. Would highly recommend Sizzor Trix. read more

I did like how my brows turned out, but she was a little unprofessional on today. She has a wonderful nail tech who persuaded me to wait while she was on the phone. For that very reason she got an extra star. The nail tech looked pretty legit too. read more

Nikki is the best. I can't go to another threader or my eyebrows will look a hot mess. she does a great job.

Moved to Texas 2 years ago before then i would always came here . Yesterday i went since i am in town. All i wanted was a clean up my eyebrows where even at the time . Now one has a slightly different shape. And not clean still have some hair on one side and one is longer then the other one and some in between my two eyebrows. Fcking great. Please dont hire people you haven't seen the work from or leave them alone to get clients after only one month of being their. read more

I decided to go here with a Groupon and was hesitant about someone "new" doing my eyebrows. I looked Sizzor Trix up on Facebook and Yelp to see reviews and everyone kept on saying to get their eyebrows done by a "Niki". Sure enough she was there (found out she works 7 days a week!) and did a fantastic job! After 5 visits the 6th is free and it's normally only $8 unless you go on Mon - Tues ($5). I now found my favorite eyebrow place! I am also going to get a pedicure soon based on all the other reviews I have read! If you want a great job done on your eyebrows, then Niki is the lady you want to see! read more

I went on a Friday and there was no wait. She was pretty quick and did a great job. My brows were last done with a razor which caused them to grow back funny. She did a great job shaping and helping them to look natural again. I'll definitely be back! read more
