Clean restaurant with a courteous and friendly staff, the salad bar was well stocked but the desert bar was limited to only two deserts. I ordered a chopped steak cooked medium for lunch, the meat came cooked very well done I sent it back and the second one was cooked to my perfection. The price was reasonable which included all you can eat salad bar. I would go back again and recomend it to someone with a hefty appetite and limited budget. read more

Sizzler - Sizzler - Seafood Near Me - Oceanside, California

Food is okay. I suppose you get what you pay for. Steaks always come over cooked. They also never seem to get my order right. Been here twice and we've never had the order get to the table correct. At first the manager really didn't seem concerned, but did manage to save the day by offering to comp my next meal. read more

We went to Sizzler last night and had a wonderful experience with a server name Zane he was so on it haven't had great service like that in a long long time read more

Sizzler - Cooked to perfection. - Seafood Near Me - Oceanside, California

My wife and I stopped here when our original destination was closed. This food was good and the buffet was great. Real good salad bar too. I would usually get a meal, pay the extra for the salad/buffet, then make a meal from that and take the meal home for another time. This Sizzler is cleaner than most I have seen. It is not a fancy place but it is very good for that it is. I would give it 4 stars but after all, it is a Sizzler. read more

very clean place.. the cashier was helpful in helping with our order.. the server came, gave us our orders then that was it.. we ordered medium well steaks which were over cooked.. since we were hungry so we didnt bother complaining.. server wasnt around anyways so i couldnt tell her the cook at a steak house doesnt know how to cook a steak.. restaurant wasnt even jam packed so no excuse on the steaks or the servers lack of service.. the mashed potatoes were too salty so didnt bother eating em.. chicken tenders on the other hand were delicious which deserved a star.. im pretty full so ill give another star for that.. over all 2 stars.. not coming back to this sizzler again.. And the rolls were good too but not enough to get a star.. steak house that is known for its salad bar and not their steaks... how sad and depressing.. read more

Best salad bar in town. Fresh and tasty. Clean. Better price than Tucanos salad bar. Great value!

We've been here twice in the last week & the food & service is always amazing! Were "avid" Texas Roadhouse people but the one in Oceanside has been subpar for us since we moved here. We were recommended here by a friend & we will not be going to any other stake house in the area. Steaks are always perfect, food is always fresh & hot & the salad bar is amazing & over the top 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing steak dinner! They have a steak & unlimited shrimp that is an amazing value on top of the "salad bar" that includes hot appetizers & desert. Best food we've had in the area read more

Service was eh.. sign said please wait to be seated waited 5 -8 minutes with people walking by and asking if someone could seat us. Was told seat ourself. Lol. salad bar was okay the hot stuff in the salad bar was empty or cold, if you asked the staff a question they helped and we're busy nice the burgers came out wrong so it was sent back. Came out 20 minutes later wrong again and asked for it to be removed from the bill at that point. read more

Went to Sizzler today for lunch (May 28), they opened at 11:00. Things have changed, mostly with the salad bar, but the food was good. Leo is the best! Happy to have a sit down lunch there again. read more

The service was good. But the all you can eat Riblets were very dry. But the corn and asparagus was amazing.

Great service and great food. The staff were very nice and our waitress brought us the best cheesy bread. Thanks!

My wife and I have been coming here for several years. We occasionally bring friends and always during the day. Leo is just great! He can't seem to do enough for you once you are seated. Don't have to ask for drink refills, he knows. My favorite dish is the cedar plank salmon, once we've had a visit to the salad bar. The food is great and a great selection of veggies and fixings at the salad bar. Reasonably priced food, the service is great. No complaints! read more

I haven't been to a Sizzler in almost ten years so while visiting friends and hearing there was one nearby we all excitedly headed over with 4 kids in tow. Even with a strict diet being followed by a couple of us, and two picky teens everyone found something they were happy with. (And we were all excited for endless cheese toast!) Our server, Zane, was absolutely amazing. He checked up on us often but not the point of being annoying, we said keep the cheese toast coming and he absolutely did, was friendly, had a smile on his face the entire time and even brought out a special surprise for our birthday girl. The food was good, sad they only cheese one side of the bread now but Zane made the trip excellent. He handled a crazy party of 8 with a smile and a laugh and we will definitely be back. Give that man a raise!!! read more

Always good food and Leo is our favorite wait person ever, always with a great smile and keeps our drinks and food coming...

Not your dad's or grandad's Sizzler! I used to eat at Sizzler back in the '80's ... Meh! And it went downhill since... Never went back until recently. Super impressed with the food, the service and the price. I highly recommend this place. Good steaks, good seafood and an absolutely addicting garlic cheese bread! read more

This is one of my families favorite places. The food was amazing and the service was great. I have the stake and lobster and it was cooked perfectly. I also tried the tri tip sliders. They where very tender and juicy. We go there as much as we can for the great food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and is a place I would take my family too again. read more

Just a suggestion, maybe put French fries in a separate container OTHER than with a medium rare steak that let the juices completely soak the fries by the time you get home with everything. I know we're all learning from the many different takeout experiences, but even just wrapping them up in foil might have helped. Otherwise, you have a very orderly and organized curbside process which was appreciated. Oh, and maybe a lot less salt on your baked potatoes. Looked like they're rolled in chunky crystals of sea salt (?). Even for a salt lover, it was way too much. Had to really try to scrape the potato off the skin so as not to get a mouthful of salt. Still love you guys -- one of my favorite steak places -- even with takeout. Yummy! read more

This was our first time here and the food was amazing! The service was superb and our waitress was very polite and helpful. The manager, Brianne was very nice and made sure our visit was enjoyable. The restaurant was very clean and gave you a warm feeling. We will be coming back soon! Thank again B We have been coming here every Sunday for brunch and the food is amazing! Great food but they run out a lot. No wedges one day no tortillas the next. Definitely needs better management but still a good place to eat. Nice servers. read more

This had to be the worst sizzler I've ever been to. My steak was bone dry and burnt, when I asked for rare! The 6oz sirloin was so small and my boyfriend got his medium rare but his turned out overcooked too. The new shrimp options they offer at the front counter aren't very good and I wouldn't recommend it. We tried both and ended up eating more at the salad bar. We don't plan on coming back here ever again, especially when we've had better food at other locations. This one just didn't meet our expectations and I would highly suggest going to eat somewhere else. read more

This is the best Sizzler. The food is excellent (best I've had at any Sizzler in my life). The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and remodeled (best looking Sizzler I've been to). The prices are reasonable. I had a 8oz Sirloin that was grilled and seasoned very well. I'm thrilled that they still have their parmesan cheese bread. I binged on their awesome salad bar (it's not just salads - even the bread pudding and banana cream deserts were so awesome and at the perfect temperature). Even the strawberries were ripe. I had iced tea (to indicate my sobriety). I'm not exaggerating. Best Sizzler ever. read more

We ordered the turkey dinner for 6 with all the trimmings and picked it up on Thanksgiving day. It was well worth the money. Everything was put in containers that we were able to put in the oven for about 45 minutes. Besides sliced white meat which sat atop the stuffing, there were mashed potatoes, yams with a crumble top, green beans with slivered almonds, dinner rolls and gravy. We added jellied cranberry sauce and voila we had a great tasting and filling turkey dinner. There were plenty of leftovers which we had tonight. I would recommend this dinner to anyone. It was excellent and easy. No standing in the kitchen for hours. Easy cleanup. This was truly a treat during these trying pandemic times. Thank you Sizzler for such a delicious meal. read more

Truly enjoyed our late lunch at Sizzler. The steak was cooked to perfection and , of course, the salad bar is varied and excellent. The best part was our server, Zane, who was most amazing. The best server we have encountered in a long time. Very attentive, courteous and efficient. read more

I had bad experience at this location first took long to service us our waitress never showed up had to ask another waitress to get her for other customers were serve first then they brought us the wrong stakes made not like we order it then our vetables were old not fresh overall wouldn't go or recommend this restaurant read more

Warning! Do Not Eat Here! I took my family to eat here. At first I was a little taken aback by the buffet style set-up that the restaurant has but thought that the atmosphere was ok and was willing to give it a try. After I took one bite of the steak that I ordered, I found a live, crawling maggot in my food. Pretty horrible right? It gets worse. When I told the manager about it he was closed mouthed (didn't say anything) so I asked that we receive a refund for our dinner because we decided to leave (none of the other family members ate). The manager did not offer an apology and argued with us about refunding the food that we didn't eat. When he did give us our money back, he still charged us for the drinks! I've never experienced such disregard for customers and disgusting service from a restaurant as I did at this one. read more

I love Sizzler Steakhouses! Especially the one that is in Oceanside and the other one in Temecula. They have been totally updated and remodeled. I really wish the one on Aero Drive would step up to the plate and do the same! They are owned by different people, so I don't expect that to happen anytime soon! I am a type 2 diabetic, and I feel really comfortable eating there and being able to order a steak, vegetable, and the salad bar, along with iced tea with lemon. I don't allow myself carbohydrates, so this establishment always accomodates me with the freshest ingredients on the salad bar. Also a shout out to the waiter named Leo. He is in Oceanside. I have never found anyone that is more outgoing and more personable than he is. He had just topped off my iced tea, and I told him that wasn't necessary because I was getting ready to depart back to Poway. He suggested that I take my drink in a 'to go' cup that he provided. That has never happened before in any restaurant. Thanks Leo for your great service. read more

My boyfriend and I go to this sizzler fairly often and are pleased every time! The food is great and the customer service is spectacular! Leo is by far one of the best servers we've ever had at any restaurant! He goes above and beyond to make sure that we leave with our bellies full! We love the sizz, 10/10 would recommend! read more

Staring and laughing is not what i call great a atmosphere.then again they could have been talking about someone else or something else but what a coincidence its every time we show up. read more

Yes, we visited a chain! They receive 5 stars for their genre. We didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. My lobster and steak were cooked perfectly, and their baked potato was incredibly creamy. Some cools things on the salad bar such as a jicama and mango salad and a mint kale salad. The rolls are really delish. I particularly liked that their music was actually background music since most places these days blast the music and you can hardly hear each other. We had outstanding service from a Mr. Cordova, and I was happy to compliment him. read more
