A Fun Night Turned Into a Disappointing and Hurtful Experience…read more The night started out great! We were a group of six ladies enjoying the beautiful view, the music, and the wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun night out turned into a disturbing and hurtful experience, especially because we were celebrating my aunt's 75th birthday. A man approached our group and began dancing with my aunt. However, he became overly aggressive, getting so close to her that she almost fell. He eventually walked away, but then returned while we were sitting on the high-top chairs. He got right up in her face and started sticking his tongue out at her. I finally spoke up and told him, "YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME RESPECT!" I explained that my aunt was 75 years old. Instead of backing off, he began yelling at us in Spanish, telling us to "go to hell," "go back to your country," and that we didn't belong here. I have video footage of what happened. What was even more disappointing was the lack of response from the staff. Waiters walked by as this was happening, yet no one stepped in to help. It wasn't until one of the ladies in our group went to get security that anything was done. Security eventually removed the man, but that still wasn't the end of it. He returned and stood near the bathroom, watching us. I had to approach security again and explain that they needed to take this seriously and make sure he wasn't stalking or harassing us. At this point, we were concerned about our safety. The waitress offered to buy us drinks, but honestly, we didn't need drinks; we needed to feel safe! I was not interested in drinking more. I wanted to make sure that my family and friends were protected and that this man would not approach us again. And after everything we experienced, we were still charged for the night! SHAME, SHAME! I was also told that this man had behaved this way there before. If that is true, then management needs to address the situation instead of allowing customers to be subjected to this kind of behavior. The most hurtful part was being told to go back to our country when my aunt was born in Puerto Rico. My blood is PUERTO RICAN. We were there to celebrate her 75th birthday, make memories, and enjoy ourselves. Instead, her special occasion was overshadowed by harassment, hateful remarks, and the feeling that nobody cared enough to protect us. We tried to salvage the rest of the evening, but when someone gets in your face, behaves aggressively, insults you, and makes you question your safety, it is difficult to simply move on and enjoy yourself. A beautiful view and a nice atmosphere mean very little when guests cannot feel safe and respected. Management, please do better. Customers should not have to repeatedly ask security for protection, and no group of women should have to deal with this kind of harassment while staff members walk by as if nothing is happening. We left deeply disappointed. What should have been a beautiful birthday celebration became an experience we will never forget for all the wrong reasons. I think a Manager should have spoken to us, but they were more interested in other things.

Ordered the egg roll app- about 30 min later one egg roll appears. Guess I should have asked. At that time we ordered chicken skewers and sesame chicken n a crab cake to go. About a half hour later the skewers appeared which were dry and a bit rubbery. We were told the sesame chicken was ready but not the crab. About 15 min later, still No crab. The place still had more employees than patrons at this point. We did see one of the servers enjoying her meal that she got from the kitchen. After cancelling the crab order and asking for the check- I mentioned I was glad she was enjoying her meal. Her response was- " I ordered before you and I'm here till 2am". WOW!! Will not be back. We started off with a mojito and piña colada. Both were so delicious and hit the spot on a hot day. We decided to split a vaso de pulpo and the regular surtido. The pulpo was so delicious! It was fresh, refreshing and tender. I could have easily ordered this for myself and been completely satisfied. The surtido was equally as good, with sorullitos (my fav), bolitas de queso, and masitas de pollo & pescado. Since we didn't want a heavy lunch this was perfect because we could just pick at different things. Our server was super attentive and would check on us throughout the meal. I saw they also had lunch specials which is good to know for next time! If you're in the area this is a great spot to grab some food with an ever better view.

Everything was so amazing. 1) our server was so sweet. 2) string lights and fancy picnic tables 3) food was incredible. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and fish empanada. Both were insanely flavorful. My 6 year old hogged the entire empanada it was so good. For mains we both got the grilled fish. It was mahi over fried rice and it was the perfect dish. 4) cocktails were fine, not the best on the island, but we were here for the food. So sad we only got to enjoy one meal here, but there's always next time!
