1st? I LOVE when a menu has PICTURES. What I love even more? When EVERY ITEM on the menu has a picture! This cafe was adorable, dog themed and had very tasteful decorations inside. There's a bar area, indoor and outdoor seating. The ladies working there were very kind and drinks/food was served quick. Food tastes wonderful, everyone enjoyed their meals- potato's & mofongo were crispy and perfectly salted. I loved my 4 golpes the fried cheese and spam were so good. Our table had zero complaints. Coffee tasted great too. A much needed brunch spot especially after arriving from the airport. Would definitely recommend. read more

Giving this place 2 stars because we had great service and food when we visited last year, but this time it was a completely different experience. The service was not great at all. We constantly had to ask the server to come back to refill our water, order more drinks, and clear the table so we had some space. Our glasses were empty for quite a while, and when they came to pick up our plates, they left the empty mimosa glasses without asking if we wanted another round. On top of that, the food came out cold and had very little flavor, which was really disappointing. I'm a big fan of a good brunch spot, but unfortunately this one just didn't deliver. But I added a cute photo of our drink! read more

The restaurant was really cute inside. The servers spoke really good English so we could understand them easily. The food was delicious and it wasn't very expensive while the portions were pretty big. The food also came out quickly and it wasn't super busy, probably because it was a Sunday morning. We would definitely eat here again. The coffee was some of the best i've ever had snd the orange juice was really fresh. read more

We have been coming to Aguadilla for 3 years now and boy was I excited to see a new brunch spot near our airbnb. Lucas & Ella is such a cute spot. They have the best coffees and a great brunch and breakfast variety. The inside is very welcoming with very modern decor. The service was great although a little slow since it was pretty busy. Overall, we will definitely visit again. read more

Fun environment with interesting photos around the restaurant. Fun music and upbeat vibe. Delicious food especially the pan sobao french toast (one of a kind). Coffees are small and pricey. With big groups the wait will be long sometimes so get your order in together with drinks if watching your time. Good service overall and they have their own parking which is a definite plus. read more

Located across from Pena Blanca restaurant, little brunch place with a doggie motive. The place is very trendy, nicely decorated and cozy. Already had lunch, so we opted for the cookie cup coffee. I had the dirty chai in the cookie cup and my hubby had the cappuccino in the snickerdoodle cookie cup, with whip cream and cinnamon. Both selections were amazing. Our servers were extremely nice and very efficient and welcoming. Will be back to try the brunch. They also offer other entrees and specialty cocktails. read more

Let me set the scene for you. We're in Puerto Rico, living our best vacation life, craving a brunch that would actually impress. I do a quick Yelp search (as one does), and up pops Lucas & Ella--just 15 minutes away. I figured, "Let's try it." We had no idea we were about to have one of the best culinary experiences of our trip. First things first--the vibe is immaculate. The ambiance? Chic, cozy, modern, and playful. They've got this genius AI display that showcases their pups, Lucas & Ella, like digital mascots with personality. It's part art, part technology, and part "OMG, that's adorable." We were already in love and hadn't even sat down. Now let's talk food--because wow. We were shook. Every bite was like brunch on another level. You know how sometimes a place looks cute but the food is meh? Not here. This place delivers flavor and flair. Think: elevated comfort food, perfectly seasoned, plated like a work of art, and somehow still feels like a warm hug. Every bite had us doing that quiet head-nod of approval you only do when food hits just right. But here's what really sealed the deal: the service. We weren't just "guests." We were family. And not that awkward family--you know, the good kind. Every staff member checked on us with such warmth and intention, not in a "scripted hospitality" way, but in a "we actually care that you're here" kind of way. We felt seen, appreciated, and taken care of. Final verdict? Lucas & Ella isn't just a brunch spot--it's a whole mood. If you're in Puerto Rico and don't eat here, I'm just gonna assume you don't love yourself. 10/10. Would fly back for the breakfast tacos and the dogs. read more

What a great way to start my vacation, with this beautiful restaurant with really great food and great service. I had the pan sobao French toast and my wife had the eggcellent choice. The pan sobao French toast really impressed me with its creativity and local bread made into something more than just bread that you eat with coffee. Beaufitul latte art on the coffee and just an overall great experience. Great place for breakfast that I highly recommend. Thank you for a great experience. read more

We wish we could bring our own dog here! What a fun little place! Food was stellar. It was the best guava chimmichuri I have ever had on my med rare steak, sunnyside eggs, home fries all perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Pan Sabao French toast was pretty good. Love the local bread but a little too soft for my taste, needed a crisp to it but the guava sauce and honey whipped butter... chef's kiss. My husband had the smoked salmon and it was so good! Toasted sourdough and herb whipped cream cheese... with a little salad. The lattes were perfect, not too sugary and beautifully made. To top off a great meal, the service was wonderful. We were given advice of local places to eat and go to with our little one. Can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to come back one day! read more

I went there with my mom for the second time and it was all good except for the price change. the last time I order coffee and it was less than $4 and this time $12. solamente pregunté si estaab correcto y me traeron a la supervisora y se altero diciendome que cada vez que vaya que pregunte por precios. le tuve que decir que no era masa personal y ella seguia insistiendo que los precios subieron y diciendome que era mi problema por no preguntar precio. cuando iba a pagar tranquilamente la cajera me seguía peleando que fuera a hablar con no se quien mas y le tuve que decir que yo no era una persona problemática y que solo quería saber si eso estaba bien ya que el precio subió el triple que la última vez. casi no salgo con mi madre y fue una tarde de hostilidad increíble. yo estuve promocionando ese lugar a aigoa y ahira me arrepiento. read more

Walking into the restaurant we were immediately taken in by the decorative concept- Dogs with all kinds of cuteness. And, dogs are welcome. The restaurant is very clean looking and smelling so no worries there. We started with cappuccino presented in a Cookie Cup and the Woofle Old Fashioned. Both drinks were great and served almost immediately by the very friendly and helpful server. Then our Croquetas Puertoriqueños arrived. These can be described as a whole meal in an appetizer. Perfectly balanced and with fresh avocado on top. Lastly, our meals arrived. Hubby had Avocado Toast. He was mostly happy aside from the tomato on the Avocado Toast was overripe so he set it aside, and happily ate the rest. I had the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon with a side of the Truffle Fries ( fries w/ garlic, truffle oil, cilantro, and Parmesan cheese). Delicious! It was a good visit and an experience we'd highly recommend keeping in mind they are only open until 3pm. read more

Lots of menu items sounded great. I chose the steak with guava chimichurri. It was cooked great (just a couple bites with lots of fat). Eggs and mac and cheese were good. Only down side was that it was pricey (even charged $5 more than what listed on their digital menu ... Prices go up, I get it, but need to update the menu then). read more

This place has a fun dog themed ambiance. We had avocado toast w/ eggs, steak w/ eggs, & lattes. The "New York steak" was flavorful, but it was a bad cut full of gristle & fat, so rare that it was inedible. The server agreed & offered to bring something else; the manager removed it from our bill even though we were willing to pay for it. Very customer oriented! read more

Our second visit to Lucas & Ella's, tell you what, over the top service and the food is just mind blowing! I had the the yogurt parfait. All I can say is the fresh fruit and toasted almonds and honey had me all smiles, the hubby had the salmon toast with greens -- he couldn't stop eating it for me to get a picture! The owners, Cesar and his wife are on site and happy to accommodate special requests. Parking was a breeze, lot right next door. A fun walk afterwards around the downtown area of Aguadilla. 10 STARS!
