Great service and the food was full of flavor! would definitely recommend. The ambience was great

Benedict with bacon on top of fried plantains

Food and pricing were excellent. Great coffee! Waitress seemed to be in a bad mood, needs to be retrained on treating people like human beings and maybe smile once or make conversation. Just came off as in a bad mood or not wanting to be there and when our local family asked a question on how he wanted the meat cooked she snapped back (at least how we all felt, but could be subjective & maybe that's just her personality). It has an amazing view of the ocean! We'll be back, but maybe not for that waitress. Adding some pics to boost this places yelp presence as it's a great spot and folks need to know it's there!

This restaurant is located inside hotel El Faro in Aguadilla and it definitely does not disappoint. I had dinner and brunch the next day here and both meals were good. For dinner, we went with whipped feta crostini, lemon and passion fruit spinach salad and four cheese melt sandwich both of which were quite delicious along with aloha and bourbon bee for drinks and chocolate cake a la mode as dessert. The drinks were well made and presented. For brunch, we went with the frenchie, smashed avocado toast and veggie-licious eggs which were all amazing. We did order dirty chai latte, rose ice coffee and dark chocolate ice coffee along with the food.

Guava and cheese flan

My husband and I were traveling back home from PR to New York. On our way to the Aguadilla airport, we stopped for dinner at El Bohio restaurant located within El Faro hotel. When we first arrived to the location, we thought we might be lost but then we soon discovered the restaurant is located within the hotel itself. The restaurant ambiance was both rustic looking but classy. The food was fantastic and the service by Wilson our server, was great. He was very informative about the dishes on the menu and also very attentive to our needs. He brought us extra glasses of water when we were running a little low without us even asking. I always appreciate that kind of attention to detail. My husband and I tried and enjoyed eating at several different restaurants in the Rincon and Aguadilla areas during our stay. The food at El Bohio was by far, the best we had our entire stay in Puerto Rico. I highly recommend the Churrasco or the prime rib with rice, beans and tostones. They have both plantain and breadfruit (pana) tostones which I absolutely loved with garlic mojito. We were also served an outrageously delicious mushroom cream sauce to go with our steaks. It was absolutely scrumptious. For dessert my husband had a lavender crème brûlée which he enjoyed very much and I had an amazing creamy, velvety guava and cheese flan that was to die for. I also recommend trying the tortilla chips served with the pico de gallo and their homemade salsa/ hot sauce. It has the perfect amount of heat, tanginess and a hint of sweetness; it tastes great. I will definitely be hitting this place up when I return to the island and I will definitely bring along other guests. This place is a hidden gem.

Super yummy food! Tucked away in the middle of the Parador El Faro(Hotel). My favorite dish is the monfongo charrasco!

The food got to us at a great temperature but I would say it was average. I've eaten here in the past and was super delighted, which was why I wanted to bring my mom for a special early dinner. But she was also a bit disappointed with her meal. My mom found the octopus to be quite chewy and tough. So that was a huge fail since it was the main protein of the meal. The mofongo, however, was delicious. My tostones were crispy and well made. I really enjoyed those. The steak had a strange after taste that I didn't care for so I too was disappointed because I am a huge churrasco or skirt steak fan. But don't give up on this cute little gem. They normally have delightful dishes. Maybe it was an off day. I'll be baa k some day, but not too soon because Aguadilla has gotten so many great little restaurants that are local and ready to be discovered! Happy eating!

Each one was better than the previous with the lobster Thermidor special being an absolute home run! It is the very best Thermidor I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh, cooked perfectly, with a cream sauce that is out of this world. The lobster was so tender. I even got to pick it from an ice chest when I walked in. Just an absolutely amazing dining experience on each occasion with excellence service and pretty much every appetizer on the menu is amazing. I really can't say enough about this gem in Aguadilla. For those who may be curious about their name, that's the island on the eastern horizon. Enjoy!!!

None of the other restaurants, especially in San Juan, did this. Foodwise, it was fantastic. We shared a variety of entrees. Known for their mofongo, we got the La Isla Desecheo ($37), which consisted of Cassava mofongo stuffed with churrasco in a mushrooms, parmesan and bacon sauce. That sauce was delicious, especially when you mixed it with the mofongo. We also got the Pechuga a la Carbonara ($19). This is a chicken breast stuffed with ham and mozzarella, breaded and fried with Carbonara sauce on top. I would compare this to a Chicken Cordon Bleu as it's very similar. Delicious nevertheless. If you're feeling like getting steak, then the Churrasco Z ($33) is for you. This is a Churrasco steak topped with a creamy parmesan cheese sauce, mushrooms, and bacon on top. We ordered this medium rare and they made it to perfection.
