Hands down the best dinner experience of our entire Puerto Rico vacation! We celebrated our 19th anniversary here on 07/07/26 with our daughters, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The food was absolutely incredible, without a doubt the most flavorful meal we had all week, and honestly one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Order the chicken... WOW! Every bite was packed with amazing flavor. The service was truly exceptional. One of our servers, Allen, was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He took the time to talk with us & he didn't seem rushed. The teamwork among the staff was amazing to watch. There was a gentleman constantly walking through the dining room clearing plates the moment we were finished, keeping everything spotless without ever interrupting our meal. Everyone worked together so seamlessly, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed what they do. While we waited for our food--which actually came out super fast for PR--our daughters loved spending time down by the beach area. It was the perfect way to keep them entertained while we relaxed. And the view... photos simply don't do it justice. We had no idea just how breathtaking the setting and ambiance would be until we experienced it in person. Came here for the sunset dinner. They do not take reservations and only walk-ins, so it is best to come at least 30 minutes before sunset if you really want a table closest to the water for the view. Unlike your typical Puerto Rican restaurants on this island, this restaurant is pretty white washed, so expect to be treated like it's mainland USA and they expect you to treat them the same. Water is not free. They'll bring you fancy water and charge you $5 for it. For food we got the Fish Curry ($32), Orecchiette Pasta ($28), and Tapa Poke ($20). The one dish not worth getting is the Tapa Poke as the portion is essentially bite size and you're paying $20. The others were pretty good, no complaints. read more

La Copa Llena has a truly great view--one of the best parts of the whole experience. It's a beautiful spot to sit by the water, relax, and enjoy the scenery. I've been three times now, and while the setting is consistently lovely, the food and service have just been okay. On my most recent visit, the panzanella salad was very dry and ended up being mostly bread, which was disappointing. I finally tried this place after three Rincon trips. I wanted fresh fish with a beautiful view for my birthday, so we showed up around sunset. We had no reservation. Once we left it had filled up. The location and the views are breathtaking. There are chairs right on the beach if you want to take your cocktail there to watch the sunset. We got there just as they opened so we were able to secure a great table for sunset dinner. The food is not Puerto Rican food - it's more contemporary American fare mixed with a few Spanish and Asian fusion dishes. The Tapas de chorizo y de poke were very good but not great for the price. I also had a glass of albariño and a daquari - again they were fine. My daughter got the burger. It was meh. The service was lovely and like most places in Rincon - they are really catering to the tourist/Grincon crowd. I wouldn't return for dinner but would stop by for a glass of wine and the view. My new favorite place on the island. Recommend from a family member and they are so accurate with the authenticity of this location. Service was fantastic and the food was so flavorful and delicious. We ordered the shrimp tostada which was AMAZING. The salsa it was in was a perfect blend of citrusy and tangy. Would of ordered this as my entree. Also had the battered shrimp and it was a perfect shareable size. Location is beautiful near the water where you hear the sound of the waves. The views of the sunset are truly priceless. The service was lovely, but the food fell short. I had the half chicken, which lacked flavor and had a chewy, rubbery texture. I was very disappointed with the food, especially given the high price--it was extremely underwhelming. Great dinner spot with a beautiful beachside view. Sadly we stopped in after sunset, so it was darker. But I heard the sunset views are amazing. They have cute string lights outside over the dinning tables. Was not able to make reservations ahead of time, but I do suggest it. We arrived and put our name down. The wait was about 30-40 minutes. Thankfully they do have a small bar inside where we waited. Drinks were good. We started with shrimp and calamari, a special of the night, as our appetizer. For dinner I ordered an Indian dish and my boyfriend had the burger. Both were amazing. This was the first time I had Indian and loved it! Almost was tempted to grab a second plate. Really a 3.5 star review but I bumped it up because I am on a good mood on vacation. The cocktails started off things on the right foot. Hibiscus margarita was very fresh and well balanced. So was the cucumber fizz, great cucumber flavor without going over the top. Fried shrimp appetizer was good and the special black bean croquettes were nothing to write home about. The appetizers came out quickly which was nice, but unfortunately the entrees came out before we could finish our apps. Most of us got the fish curry which were kind of disappointing based on other reviews. Don't get me wrong it was tasty, but everyone's fish was pretty dry and the plantains just seemed a little off. Ah, La Copa Llena. I crave this restaurant. HARD. First of all, the Marina has a very special place in my heart. Add an incredible restaurant? Yep. Checks all the boxes. Upon arrival, you walk in through a large [what I want to call] breezeway of an entrance, to the backyard deck that openers up to the most incredible view of the Caribbean Sea. (I mean, I could tear up writing this I love it so much). The tables are folky and quaint. The deck is huge. There's a small beach for the kids to play on while you wait for your food. String lights, etc. The waitstaff is attentive. Drinks are refreshing and a nice way to end the day. Okay enough about all of that. The star of the show. The Pollo (1/2 seared & roasted chicken served with I'll corn/mushroom/pancetta succotash, sautéed spinach, Dijon chicken jus) was one of the best meals I've had in my life. I love a meal that I am totally satisfied and FULL that doesn't constitute of stuffing myself with carbs. Everything was done perfectly. Food -If you are hungry and you are looking for a place to have something yummy, this is not the place. I opted for the Pasta Carbonara...it was extremely dry, no flavor what-so-ever. They give you a toasted bread..no butter, no garlic oil. Plain Burger was $20...whaaat??? Meat was dry as well. How can you mess up a burger? Menu for drinks and food is very limited. Their menu prices are much much higher than other places on the island. I pay less for these dishes in NY, and the food tastes much better. Waiter- He was awesome he had a nice vibe. Where do I begin.... My suggestion would be to go here right before the sunsets and sit outside. If you don't I apologize. The view here is so pretty, its amazing. I have been all over and this by far has the BEST Pina Colada in the world. Not just the best in Puerto Rico, but the world! I kid you not. The creator of this drink is a perfectionist, who incorporates dried pineapple and orange garnishes. The homemade whipped cream infused with the fresh pineapple is beyond description. I feel this is the best restaurant in the area. The pannacotta and flourless chocolate cake we done with blueberries. I had the skirt steak Update 11/15/2019 The Pina Colada master Evy no longer works here. I am sad. Drink is not the same. This is our favorite spot to have drinks before sunset and dinner in the moonlight (when applicable, of course). The setting is right on the beach. There are Adirondack chairs on the beach accessible from the bar and deck which afford a scenic place to wait for a table on busy evenings. The food is reliably delicious and presented with flair. Service is attentive and friendly. The prices are fair for the high quality composed dishes. We love all of the appetizers (try them all!) and the pork entree and curried fish. Just had dinner here. Once you walk in, you're greeted with a smiling face and given the Orion to order drinks while you wait (wait time was 3 minutes). We all loved the Copa colada (it's like an alcoholic horchata), poke salad (tuna is so fresh), fried shrimp (so bomb), half fried cauliflower (absolutely delicious) we all ordered the churassco (super juicy tender steak). We went for a beautiful date night to La Copa Llena. The views and sounds are simply unforgettable!! We were able to get a table right next to the water. The drinks were ok. They lacked a lot of flavor. Our appetizers, the cauliflower and their special appetizer of the night a mushroom dish, were fantastic!! My wife had the NY strip with the goat cheese mash. That was great!! I had the Pollo. Do not get the Pollo!!! They quote you a time of 35 minutes. Well this took an hour and 10 minutes to get our food. And the chicken was overdone by an hour! It was inedible!! I could not believe how dry this chicken was!! I picked at some of the dark meat. But then stopped trying and shared my wife's steak. The server was so busy that he never noticed. The service is super slow!! I've heard that is just how it is on the island. But it was excessive. There are a few other restaurants at the same price point in the area. Try those. read more

I made a Puerto Rico/Ricon Yelp list before leaving on my trip and La Copa Llena was on it. Our Kayak/Snorkel guide also highly recommended as a great place to watch the sunset. Loved the Tapas style menu, we just kept ordering until we were full. My Pina Colado (on the rocks, not frozen) was outstanding! First off: the view and atmosphere is AMAZING. The staff was great. My three star rating is because both my fish special and my husband's fries were extremely over salted. So much so, it had to be scraped off and yet it was still an issue. (Just so you know, I am not anti-salt, as a rule). The British style curry was very tasty with nice complexity which makes this review so sad to write. My husband's drink was very good, mine was good, so no real complaints there.
