Stopped here for lunch while in Rincon. This restaurant is located right on the beach. The ocean is just steps away. You have the option to eat inside our outside. It was a beautiful afternoon, so we ate outside. Salsa music was playing at a level where you can speak and hear perfectly. Amazing tropical vibe. We ordered the small picadera, which was plentiful. The dish came with chicharron de pollo (fried chicken chunks), masitas de cerdo (friend pork chunks), pescado frito (fried fish), sorullitos (friend corn meal rolls), house made plantain chips, and mayo ketchup. It was hot, fresh, and tasty. We also ordered a mofongo with caldo de pescado (fish broth). The mofongo was amazing and the pescado broth was delectable! Light, thin, tasty, and not oily at all. For drinks my fiance had a honey jack and coke. I hard a parcha (passionfruit) Sangria. Both drinks were made well. The service was friendly and expedient. Our waitress was kind and attentive. To top it all off, the prices were affordable. We'll be back again before we go back to the states. read more

Wow. Just wow! The food here is delicious and they have fast and friendly service. You can sit inside or outside; I recommend sitting outside because you're right by the ocean. The bar is nice too! Beautiful sunsets and cold drinks. We sat outside to watch the sunset, and it didn't disappoint. We had the "small sampler" appetizer that contains several deep-fried bits of fish, pork and chicken, cheese, and corn bread sticks. We went at the recommendation of a local we met that day while shopping. We were sold when she said the fish was super fresh. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. It's very close to the water if you sit outside ask the views are excellent. Unfortunately the food was less than great. I got the lobster in butter and a side salad. The lettuce was super limp, the tomatoes had a fishy taste, and I had to ask for dressing- I'm not sure who would like dry lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The lobster pieces were swimming in a bowl of butter and onions and didn't have great flavor. Not great for almost $30. My partner and friend got the mahi mahi plate, one with rice and beans, and other with plantains. The beans were the best part of everyone's meal. I couldn't tell if the fish was fresh or not due to how poorly it was prepared. Should have checked Yelp before visiting. Overall disappointing and unsatisfying for a $100 tab which is a big bummer because we love supporting local business. Piña Coladas were good though! read more

This cute, small and local beachfront restaurant has not only fresh caught seafood, but it is also very tasty. The warm hospitality and service from our waitress was fantastic. She was attentive and anticipated when water needed refilling and when we were done with the appetizers she brought out the entrees. Had a wonderful experience. Came in with a pretty large group and service was a little slow. I only got some mango flan and to be honest it was the best flan I have had in my quite sometime. I had a few nibbles of my friends food and it was all pretty dry. Other than that I would come back for some flan. read more

Surprised there aren't more good reviews for this place. GREAT view for sunset and perfect spot for drinks on the beach. Seems like a lot of locals come here (always a good sign). Waitress was sweet. I tried the fish bites upon recommendation. Delicious and only $8. Food arrived fairly quickly (on island time so enjoy the breeze and drinks if food takes a bit longer). They need to train their hostesses on common sense. I couldn't tell you about the food because after driving in a hurry with a 10 month old to meet my dad and sister there they wouldn't seat us next to our family in an about to be empty table because they had another party waiting, even though they knew we were on our way, my dad and sister told them before they were seated and they literally told them it would be ok hence why we rushed there to not make them wait. So instead they offered another table away from our family... so pretty much instead of putting the other party at the table they were offering , they wouldn't. They thought having half of us leave and eat elsewhere was a better solution for us all. Fun first day of family vacation for us...NOT. I know there are rules and I did not feel entitled which is why I left with no further discussion about it.. but a little slack, compassion and common sense goes a long way. I went on Tuesday night around 6:00PM , it was quiet, it has a beautiful space at the beach and the food was amazing , I totally recommend this restaurant, you can eat outside or inside the restaurant and they have their own bar outside. The food was brought quick and employees were nice always paying attention if you need anything (but take in mind that It was on a week day and usually on week days it doesn't get busy) The only thing is difficult to find parking but the place and food is great , it was my first time and I will go back again. The grilled grouper fillet was also very fresh and well (simply) prepared. The food here is more home-style cooking than gourmet, so expect simple seasoning and uncomplicated flavors.
