Stopped by this cute restaurant on our last night on the island and really wish we had tried it sooner. Everything was so amazing. 1) our server was so sweet. 2) string lights and fancy picnic tables 3) food was incredible. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and fish empanada. Both were insanely flavorful. My 6 year old hogged the entire empanada it was so good. For mains we both got the grilled fish. It was mahi over fried rice and it was the perfect dish. 4) cocktails were fine, not the best on the island, but we were here for the food. Also, prices were ring up different than on the QR code menu. Hmm. That affected my tip. Also, the picnic table seating was not comfortable at all. We had a random unfriendly cat walking everywhere in which it would swat at you with its claws if you batted it away. They only accept cash. There is an ATM onsite if you don't have cash. We ordered a wide variety of dishes including the púlpitos fritos, empanadilla de carne y camarón, los pinchos de pollo, nachos de tuna, tacos de pescado, y filete de pescado al grill. The food was bland, not a lot of flavor, the púlpitos were extremely chewy, the fish tacos were dry and seemed like they had been frozen, the tuna nachos were decent, the pinchos and the grilled fish tasted old. Unsure if our experience was just a one off, but dinner was fairly subpar. We got the fried octopus which was good, but their fish fillet and fried chicken burger were not great. The fish fillet is not actually a fillet but more of a steak. It was overcooked and bland. Certainly not worth the $25. It came with a side of rice and beans which was really good! The fried chicken burger was below average. Not enough meat, and no flavor. Felt the same about their drinks - we got the house mojito and mermaids tail which were very dilute. They also advertise that it's all fresh juices but we were sitting at the bar and could see them opening up bottled juices. Service was ok. Our waitress seemed over it. Would i recommend this place? This place was so good! We had a party of six and didn't have reservations but were able to be seated pretty quickly. From whole experience from start to finish was great. The restaurant has a coastal CA open air vibe. They feature fresh fish and have a variety of menu options. My one girlfriend got the pear salad and it was so good. The vinaigrette was light and the greens were fresh. I ordered the house fish panko crusted and the presentation was lovely. The fish was fresh caught and just melted in my mouth. It was served with a side of asparagus and lobster risotto. We each tried a variety of cocktails and they were all exceptional. I loved my Naughty Coconut Margarita. Came here for dinner on a Wednesday around 6 pm. It was crowded but no wait, though a line started forming soon after. Covered patio and bar seating with a few tables on the sidewalk. Server was very nice. We got the conch fritters, fish tacos and grilled fish. The food was just average for the price. The fritters had very little conch. The 2 tacos didn't have a lot of flavor. The grilled fish was on the dry and tough side. Fried plantains were greasy and bland, though garlic aioli was good. Service was on island time, so slow. Called ahead to confirm that they were open for dine in. When we reached, there was no one at the reception but the staff made eye contact multiple times as they served other guests. No one approached us or gave us any indication of how long the wait would be. We patiently waited to get someone's attention for 15 mins before deciding this was a waste of time and started to leave. This is when they waved and got us a table. Mistakes happen but they didn't apologize and continued to act like we had just gotten there. Food was good for the most part. We got the grilled mahi mahi bites and tostones topped with garlic sauce which were both delicious. So was the steak, it was plated beautifully and cooked well. It came with a side of tomato rice which was recommended to us by our waitress and was really good and flavor filled. The jackfruit tacos though was disappointing, was sweet and had a bbq like sauce in it which didn't quite pair well with the slaw and was off putting. read more

We love this place! We visited the area for two days and enjoyed dinner both nights. The food is amazingly fresh and cooked to order and the plating is a work of art. The cocktails are unique and delicious. The service has been outstanding, everyone working here is always helpful and friendly. An added bonus, it's super clean and well maintained. The options change daily based in what is fresh, but our fave was the mahi mahi. You can get them grilled or fried. We went grilled, and the grilled flavor was spectacular. So good we could have just had an entire meal of them. But, we didn't. Everything we tried was tasty and fresh, but the skewers, oh baby. Wash it down with some don q for a true Puerto Rican experience. They don't have their own parking, so you will need to find a spot on the side of the road. We ordered pinchos of mahi, wahoo, grouper and tuna. We had some grilled and some fried and both were out of this world. It's also served with garlic bread. The arroz mamposteao was the perfect side and it even had pieces of platano inside which gave it great flavor. We also got an order of tostones topped with garlic sauce which our waitress recommended. The only thing is because if Covid they are limited until when they can accept new tables so go early! This review is based on service. We did not get to try the food unfortunately. We put our name on the list and were told it would be 15-20 minutes. After about 40 minutes of waiting to be seated, and seeing a few large parties come and get seated before us, we asked what was happening. Finally the hostess saw we were getting upset (we have a small toddler) and gave us a table outside next to the main road. We asked to be seated inside as there were open tables so our toddler doesn't run out on the open road and they told us the inside tables are for larger parties only and they couldn't do anything.
