I feel really hesitant to give it 3-star because the view is breathtaking, drinks were awesome and our waitress was very friendly. However, if I rate it based on the food, I'd give it 2-star. I'd come here next time for bar drinks and bar snacks (vs. a group dinner). They make great virgin drinks and that's friendly to our group with young kids. Nachos were tasty. Our kankan is over-fried and chewy; and same applied to the shrimp stuffed chicken - if the shrimps were chewy and you could imagine how unpleasant to munch the rubbery chicken. read more

The parking can be iffy, but that's the norm in many places here. I just went for lunch, and there a current special - for $8.99 (includes tax) you can choose from from a protein, a side and a non alcoholic drink. Never knew that most restaurants are closed on Tuesday on the isla. This cute spot is lively (like every place around the island by the beach). It is located right on the beach and the breeze is fantastic while listening to the waves as they slam against the rocks. Our server was warm, inviting and very attentive. The food was tasty and of course fresh. My virgin piña colada was perfectly frozen and delicious too. The area was nice loved the view and drinks were good, not sure what was going on in the kitchen but I don't think my chicken breast stuffed with sweet plantains should have taking over an hour to come to my table, there was 4 of us eating there and the rest had there order out before mine, Chuleta kan kan and mofongos relleno de pulpo, not sure why there food that for me I think would have taking longer to make came out before my stuffed chicken breast. So they all had to wait on me to be done eating, got there at 7 didnt leave to almost 9, I felt rushed as my company had to wait till I was done with my dinner. Overall not the best service. We visited on 1/18/25, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We ordered two mofongos: one with chicken in creole sauce and another with churrasco and "mushroom sauce." Both were overpriced compared to similar places. The churrasco mofongo was the worst: the "sauce" was just salty gravy with no mushrooms, the churrasco barely weighed 4 oz, was tough, and served on a cardboard plate with no salad or sides. The chicken mofongo was slightly better, but the meat was scarce and not even breast. At $15 for the chicken and $21 for the churrasco, the value was terrible. Service didn't help either. While not rude, the staff showed no concern for customer satisfaction, making the experience worse. We spent $44 on two inedible dishes. First and last visit. read more

Swung by for a light bite and drinks around 12p on a Sunday. Place was already populated but got more and more busy as we were there. Rum punches and mojitos were delicious. Camarones empanadilla was the best of our trip and I wanted a second. Fish bites could have been better, they weren't as well done as I'd have liked. The view, the vibe, my goodness! We ended up only coming here at night during our stay. The vibe of this place is amazing. It was mostly only locals when we went which was nice coming from San Juan. The drink menu is quite long allowing for whatever you want. We ordered the Mofongo which was the best I've had in PR. The chicken and Mahi Mahi was drenched in a ton of amazingly seasoned sauce and poured over a soft bed of plantains. The portions are quite large so you could probably get away with splitting it between two people depending on your hunger levels. read more

The apps -- carne frita (fried pork) and surtido marino (seafood sample) were tasty and also recommended. Witnessed the worst customer experience of my life here. A group of 9 of us stopped by this establishment on our first night in puerto rico to enjoy a nice meal by the water. We all ordered our food and took pictures of the sunset to remember our first night. One by one our orders starting coming to the table. We were serviced by several different ppl and it was a little chaotic to get everything we needed to enjoy our meals. Halfway through our meals, 3 members of our group still had no food. We brought it to many servers attention and there was no sense of urgency. An hour and a half later their food was still not there. When a complaint was made, our server argued with us! They would not allow us to cancel our order cause it was cooking and refused to comp the meal. They attempted to guilt trip them into paying full price and in the end only gave a total of a $7 discount to the 3 ppl that waited an hour and a half for food. The way those men argued with a group of women was triggering and extremely toxic. When asked if they could at least get a coke to go (since they took their food to go since everyone was done eating) the male server YELLED at the young woman. Do not support this business read more

The octopus salad was disappointing, ordered shrimp mofongo and this what I received. This is not mofongo, this is more like a soup! There's no crisp, I asked if there was something they can do as there is no "mofongo" for me to enjoy and the manager - Brian, rudely stated "there's nothing I can do for you". There is always something that can be done! Not even their pictures on IG look like this. It wasn't until they saw me writing this review when they stated they wouldn't charge me for the meal.
