    Jumbo Burrata Stuffed Ravioli

Friendly service and wonderful food and drink. Standouts include Burrata Arugula Salad (with shrimp), Jumbo Burrata Stuffed Ravioli, Caesar Salad with Chicken (half portion) and the Mahi Tacos (daily special). There's a friendly feral cat who likes to visit tables in hopes some food may hit the ground.

We had lunch here during our January 24 visit. The burgers were fantastic, service was great. The place had a casual, fun vibe

Beach hole in the wall filled with locals, authentic food and good drinks. Very friendly staff. All open, outdoor space. Younger crowd like you'd expect at a local spot but we felt perfectly comfortable. Saw a couple of families as well. Sits right down by the beach. Nice place if you're the hang out in local spots type like us. Service is on Puerto Rican time so relax and enjoy the plants, birds and cats.

We walked in and they seated us right away. The ambiance was chill and it was pretty dead. We ordered food for us and our friends with their baby. The baby's food came with our whole party and ours, it was a good wait time for food. My burger was cooked good. Overall mediocre food for about $150 in 4 burgers.

    The $3 tea, no refills!

The fish tacos were excellent, and the price for the tacos was fair. Service was great. Let's start with that good news. The environment was pleasant and well lit. Beyond that, it was a little disappointing. We didn't have alcohol, which looked very much overpriced, but the non alcoholic drinks were absurdly priced as well. If you order tea, you get a small 6 oz cup, mostly ice, and NO REFILLS. Tap water is not available, so you're paying either way. (Apparently the owner worries about customers' gentle tummies drinking island water. Other resturants allow it, so that's not true.) Salad with grouper? $32. Totally not worth it. Aside from the tacos, I would go elsewhere. If you can get away with it, BYOB.

Went here twice while in town. Sat in the back of the dining area and it was pleasant and welcoming. I really like their choice of rocks for the floor. Felt good on my feet, as odd as that is to admit. Haha. My wife and I are vegan so between the two dinners we had there, we had the dinner salad, rice and beans, vegan veggie mofongo, French fries and the veganator burger. All the food was satisfying and I would go here again. Though, I hope they get more vegan apps/entrees/deserts in the near future.

Oh thank you, thank you for coming to our rescue on a Tuesday evening! After a disappointing dinner on our first night at a nearby hotel, my wife and I searched hi and low around Rincon for a decent dinner option. It was made difficult by the fact that many were closed that day, simply didn't answer phone calls to confirm opening, or were already fully booked. The hostess answered us pleasantly that they are open for a table of 2, so we rushed over there and were greeted warmly by the waitstaff and a rather divey & fun atmosphere filled with multicolored tree lights, ship-motif wooden beams and tables, and sandy floor. We started with Guava BBQ Chicken Wings which were crispy and slightly dry yet not too much. They're quite addictive! TIP: Ask for their 2 hot sauces! One is "Shipwreck" and the other was "Heat Wave", both made by a local hot sauce company named Heat Wave. I liked them both but Shipwreck was my favorite. They're VERY HOT (as waitress offered), so you just need 1 drop per wing and 'em wings will suddenly fly. Try it and thank me later. Then we had the Shipwreck signature NY dry-rubbed strip w/ mashed potatoes & side salad which was exactly what I needed! Meat was perfectly cooked to my specification (medium), was super juicy, and their signature dry rub created this exotic crust which I enjoyed immensely. After several days of Puerto Rican carbs and deep-fried stuff, this nice, properly-grilled steak was a welcome song to my stomach & palate. Mashed potato was delicious, paired against simple, not-heavily-sauced side salad. We enjoyed it with virgin pina colada and my Medalla P.R. beer which complimented the meal. In fact, we liked the quality and taste of their food so much that we even ordered a dessert of Flan de Coconut. It was not too heavy, nutty and just right amount of sweet to wrap up our fantastic meal. It was the best dinner in P.R. so far. Service was quite prompt though we had to wait here and there as they seemed slightly short staffed, but everyone was cheerful and genuinely seemed happy working there. Atmosphere was great with diners talking to one another, and they even offer "OFF" brand bug-repellent spray since they're semi outdoors with no windows or walls. It's right at the entrance of both bathrooms to the back, and I'd suggest you using them as soon as you get there because we got probably several itchy bites! For all the visitors to Rincon I heartily recommend Shipwreck Bar & Grill for good times with friends and loved ones.

Nice spot. 2$ drink happy hours. The churrasco with rice and beans is delicious. The Mofongo (Shrimp) was the best, very tasty, really flavorful. Worth the price.

Great low key spot right off the beach! Calamari was some of the best I've had. The mofongo was excellent and enough to use it as another appetizer. Our favorite was the yellowfin tuna. It was cooked to a medium rare and melted in your mouth! Favorite dessert was the key lime pie. Reminded me of key west and that's a hard thing to duplicate! Our server was amazing and very attentive. Nobody

Sitting right by the water with the waves splashing up at you is epic, especially around sunset. The setting alone feels like it should be an unforgettable dining experience. Unfortunately, the service has consistently been unfriendly and unwelcoming, which really takes away from the atmosphere. The food has been marginal at best--fine, but not memorable, and not quite what you'd expect given the location and potential of the space. It's worth stopping by for the view (and the waves) alone, but I wouldn't come here specifically for the food or service. With friendlier staff and better food, this place could be something really special.

Over the course of my stay, I ate here many times with my family. Meals came with tasty garlic…read morebread and a small refreshing house salad. I divided up the food reviews by meal category. Breakfast Omelette- was great. I had tomato, onions, no peppers, and bacon. You can choose from adding bacon or ham. Decent but not mind blowing. Pancakes- you get multiple pancakes in the stack. They were nice and fluffy. I did wish there was some more whipped cream on the plate, which are the dollops next to it in my picture. It came with a little plastic container of syrup. Spanish omelette- had like 0 eggs in it, I expected an omelette with potatoes but it was just potatos and tortilla. Not bad just not expected. Appetizers and sides Potatoes- good Mofongo- pretty good. A little dry but I think it maybe is supposed to be like that. Great with the chicken and rice stew. Bean soup- the rice was salted, which I did not know. I put the rice in the soup to tone down the salt, but I accidentally made it even saltier. The only appetizer I would not get again if they continue to salt the rice. Beans and rice- good Lunch and dinner meals Red snapper - good, came with a side of your choice. I chose beans and rice. Rice was good and fluffy. The beans were tasty. The snapper came with a rich sauce and some vegetables. Fish Tacos- very good. I enjoyed this very much with a green local hot sauce that came if you asked for hot sauce. I would get this again if I came back. This was on the bar menu I think. Nachos- came in a big portion. Very large and good. Salad- ok. Rice and chicken stew- good. Tasted very homey and comforting like something grandma would make. There were chicken bones that you have to watch out for though. Pasta primavera- based on googling primavera pasta beforehand, I was expecting a light pasta entree, but this was smothered in butter and cheese, which was very heavy and not at all what I expected. It was tasty though, but very rich. Drinks Strawberry frappe- (non alcoholic version) tasted like an elevated slushie. It tasted like it was made from a strawberry syrup instead of fresh strawberries. Pina colada- (non alcoholic version) a good pina colada.
