Super nice dinner here with a group of 10. Staff made sure we were in drinks and appetizers and didn't wait too long for anything. Cocktail and wine selections were great. The red snapper wasn't "fresh" he disclosed which I appreciated, but we eat frozen seafood at home, so it didn't keep me from ordering it. Food is always top notch! I tend to choose the veal chop with the homemade chimichurri.

We originally went in to try out the steaks, given that Grandma's is known for being a steakhouse. However, the menu side tracked us & we ended up getting something else. Though the staff was friendly, the food left a lot to be desired. First off the salad portion was for a child, not an adult; it was very small & on the equivalent of a saucer. The Osso Bucco was rather tasteless & the shrimp in criollo sauce was of a small portion for an entree. I'm still curious as to what their steaks taste like but don't have high expectations. The restaurant was too brightly lit & not very appealing as far as decor goes. Perhaps we'll have our steaks elsewhere. read more

It doesn't really look like a steakhouse and it was extremely bright in the restaurant. The food was delicious! The octopus app was perfect. I had the Osso Buco with a baked potato for dinner. It was extremely tender. My friend had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. Service was a bit slow but I'm told that's to be expected on the island. Next time we're in the area we'll definitely go back. read more

The food is delicious. I had the chuleta with rice and beans, hubby had the carne frita con mofongo, kids had the ribs with rice and beans and the baby churrasco. My kids ate all of their food! The carne frita was one of the best I've had on the island! The chuletas were good! The ribs were so tender that the meat fell off the bone. The mofongo and the caldo were delicious also! My only complaint would be the lemonade. It tasted toxic. I told the waitress, and they took it off the bill. The prices are pretty cheap too! The place looks new and is pretty spacious. Everything was clean, too. However, the service took forever!!! We sat, and it was a good 20 mins before someone decided to take our order. Then we finished eating and it was another 20 mins for our bill. read more

The restaurant is beautiful. We received prompt service. The churrasco was soft and savory. I asked for their chimichurri sauce, and it was superior. Besides, their prices cannot be beat. We went through their lunch special. read more

I drove by here and noticed this and so eventually ended up eating here with my CSM. Had the steak and it's not bad. Nothing amazing. The side salad was terrible though. Almost like rabbit food, just some lettuce. We laughed when we were both served it. read more

After waiting about an hour for our food... presentation wise was okay. I ordered a Churrasco with tostones.... No taste at all. My spouse ordered mofongo relleno pechuga al ajillo and texture was awesome, flavor?? Didn't like it. My daughter absolutely loves rice and steak and left it all. No flavor. As a prodigal son returning to the homeland after a 27 year hiatus with my culinary adventure partner and a van full of parents. My dad was hell bent on taking us to this steak house and after Jet Blue skimping out on Cart Service due to turbulence. really Jet Blue not even a freaking bag of those Kettle corn popped corners? So we get in and everyone went for the Mofongos. I am not a fan of the texture of Mofongo plantains went with the Aranitas de platanos. Which is the same plaintain as mofongo but shredded and made into a loose crunchy deep fried goodness that the Ponce De Leon would be glad he gave up on that whole Fountain of youth thing and settle this island. I had the carne frita because sometimes I like to play Russian roulette with my arteries and deep fried salty pork. My culinary wingwoman had the Mofongo with churasco ( skirt steak ) which was grilled to perfection. It made me regret my choice immediately. But she did share why she's the number 1 culinary wingwoman. The view around the place is epic. Nested in Aguada's hills. It's beautiful. The place was busy and the kitchen kept up with the food. The food was fair as was the service. There was no drink menu although it seems like they had a full service bar once you walked to the bathroom and saw where the bar was. The waitress matter of factly handed us menus and asked what we wanted, we assumed she meant drinks so we asked her to come back. She took our drink and dinner orders, didn't ask how our food was and when she brought the check asked if we were adding the tip to our overall charge. My whole fried snapper was dry and rubbery almost seemed like it was refried. The most disappointing dish as it is typically a treat when I come to PR. The steak dishes that were ordered were ok but not the quality that comes to mind when you think of a "steak house". The steak and onions dish met expectations. The place was simply decorated and clean. Do not plan on returning. read more

This place was great...I had the chicken breast stuffed with Mofongo and my husband had the Mofongo with carnita and we were very satisfied. The meals were excellent and so was the dessert of creme brûlée's and vanilla flan. The waitress was super busy but very friendly and the place is casual and very clean.
