Fuimos con expectativas altas por su nominación a los Lazos de Oro, pero la experiencia no está ni cerca de ese nivel. El ambiente, en general, es agradable: buena iluminación, sin ruido excesivo y el concepto es completamente outdoors. El servicio fue pobre: apresurado, desinteresado y sin atención real. La mesera no daba espacio ni para hacer preguntas y nunca regresó a verificar la mesa. La comida fue decepcionante. El T-bone llegó sobrecocido, fino y sin sabor. Al reclamarlo, la respuesta fue literalmente: "el chef dice que eso está medium rare". Flora has a great outdoor authentic vibe. The food is made fresh daily with seasonal produce from local farmers. The dishes are a mix of traditional Puerto Rican flavors and new bold ideas. For example, in November, I had pernil gnocchi -- it wasn't my favorite dish I've had there. But, it had flavor. The gnocchi were green plantain-based and had an unusual flavor. The service is faster paced than many Puerto Rican beach restaurants. They are friendly and very welcoming. read more

The pace was slow, however, we were in the back patio. We didn't have reservations so that was our only option. The weather was ideal, no wind 77 degrees, ambience was perfect, so the long waits didn't matter. It was so chill sitting back there I think I'd rather be there than in the actual restaraunt. We were there for approx 2 hours total. The food was absurdly good, like real gourmet type shit. We had a pizza, delish (came out first) than we had some cauliflower bao buns which I didn't pick but may have been one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. We had a delicious dinner at Flora this past Sunday evening for my birthday. In my opinion, Flora is THE BEST restaurant in Aguadilla, hands down. Ambiance, ingredients, flavors, creativity, plating presentation, service...the BEST! We made a reservation early for 5 pm, at opening, so we could try to get down to the beach to catch the sunset afterward. We were at the restaurant roughly 1.5 hrs. We were torn as to what to order because everything looked and sounded so good, so we decided to order one of every appetizer and cocktails and make it sort of a 'tasting menu.' Our cocktails were unique and delicious - a spicy pineapple cocktail with raw jalapeno, and a strawberry smash with basil syrup - both excellent. The appetizers were each large enough for sharing and in the end we were surprised how full we were even though we mostly ate vegetables and seafood. We had: -- scallops tartar with blueberry aguachile and blue potato chips - the portion of scallops was very generous, and they were fresh and light and plump as could be! -- calamari escabeche with tostones cups - smelled and looked beautiful, and was satisfying and filling -- avocado toast with fava beans and roasted garlic - absolutely scrumptious! The avocado was tangy and salty and so tasty with the beans and garlic -- beet salad with goat cheese foam - another super delicious combo and generous portion of beets -- black ceviche - ahi tuna, blood oranges and cucumbers over black squid ink - a stunning plate and very subtle flavors -- tomato salad with heirloom tomatoes, balls of yuzu-tomato sorbet and small cubes of mozzarella - a very refreshing a surprising flavor combo - we really loved it! Our server, Ashley was excellent - knowledgable about everything on the menu, helpful, friendly, attentive. We enjoyed talking to her throughout our evening. The only thing that was a little bit of a nuisance were the mosquitoes and small flies that plagued us throughout the dining experience. We chalked this up to the fact that we were sitting outside among lots of plants and flowers, and the hour of the night was 'prime time' for the bugs. Ashley offered us bug spray/Off, but we opted not to use it. In the future we would put on our own bug repellent before heading over. Overall, still a 5-star experience, and next time we are in Aguadilla I would eat every meal here! read more

Flora NEVER disappoints. We enjoyed their new offerings last night on the patio: Fauna and Oliva. Both are AMAZING. Chef Rafael has done it again. This is the best pizza we have had on the Island. It is Neopolitan style cooked in a wood fired oven. The crust is perfectly crunchy and chewy all at once. The topping are next level. We have the Hot Pepperoni AND the Cacio de Pepe. They were wildly different but both were outstanding. I fell as though we were cheating on our favorite wood fired pizza in NWI @rollingstonebaker but I'm sure Andrea will forgive us. What a great. Additional to an already AWESOME restaurant. Flora is a must and now with a more casual patio vibe, Fauna and Oliva complete to offering. Go get a drink during happy hour (5-7) and enjoy a fantastic pizza while you're at it. P.S. the new facade looks amazing too. read more

Thought this place was hit or miss. The service was great. The drinks were delicious. But the food was very mixed. The porterhouse was pretty fatty. The halibut was dry and bland. However the scallops and branzino dishes were notable. Our table found the starters to be more compelling than the mains. read more

Perhaps the food is good? The water was average. We got there exactly at our reservation time. After the table was cleared. We scanned the code and waited to tell our server what we wanted to try. And waited And saw another party come in and get seated. And we waited. And we saw them get their drink orders in And we waited We saw their drinks arrive. Hey we got some water and we waited some more. 30 minutes of waiting and the other table was getting their dinner orders in, and we were still waiting. Food Review: the water is average. While waiting we noticed other things: The name of the place is "Flora", there is not one vegetarian dish on the menu. The menu is one page, we were with an elderly person, no paper menu offered, just the qr code on a crumpled piece of paper that flew away more than once. The menu has 2 languages. Yay! But its not Spanish and english versions of menu items. Wat? The language switches within each description making translation apps more difficult. Especially for older people. As for atmosphere, it was quiet, the music was not too loud. The cement floor is uneven so you feel like you are leaning back too far. The cheap ikea tables and chairs do nothing to help the poor service. The silverware is nice. Also, with late reservations in an area we are unfamiliar with, your ability to recover by finding somewhere else is almost nil. Night basically ruined. read more

Wow , wow ,wow , amazing the cod fritters melts in your mouth not in your hands , the carrot chimmy with the mousse feta I don't know where to begin delicious , ordered the filet mignon medium rare and it came out absolutely perfect , I've been to a lot of restaurants and ask for this and always got it back medium well so grateful , and than to top it off the white Sangria fell in nice , after all said and done was pretty full but I said let me try the desert and when I tell u the cornbread with corn Icecream and popcorn on top under was lavender milk was literally to die for , u can tell the chef definitely takes pride in his craft and I'm definitely grateful thank and anytime I'm back in Aguadilla I'm running back here asap , five stars for me read more
