Tan pronto como mi esposo, una amiga y yo entramos por la puerta, Javier nos dio una fea mirada de disgusto. Literalmente nos hizo sentir que no éramos dignos de estar allí. Estábamos vestidos de manera agradable e informal, sin embargo, mi esposo y yo tenemos muchos tatuajes. Estábamos hablando "Spanglish" entre nosotros pero español con él (mi esposo y mi amigo son boriqua y yo soy mexicana). Somos lugareños, no turistas, aunque fue nuestra primera (y ahora la última) vez allí. No sé si alguna de las anteriores son las razones por las que nos juzgó instantáneamente al entrar, pero de todos modos le dije que solo queríamos unas shots y nos acompañó hasta el área del bar afuera. Pasamos junto a un par de camareras comiendo e incluso ellas fueron medias groseras e incómodas. Solo mala onda del personal en general.
La vista en el área del bar es INCREÍBLE , pero el servicio fue peor allí. lMi esposo le pidió shots a Javier y Javier "actuó" como si no supiera qué era eso (¿Quizás no estaba actuando ...? Quién sabe, pero fue súper grosero). Mi esposo nombró otras bebidas y Javier lo imitó (¡qué carajo!), luego se volvió hacia su compañero y le dijo que "no sabe de qué está hablando este tipo". Luego, mi esposo le pidió Jack & Cokes y Javier procedió a actuar como si no supiera lo que estaba pidiendo. Mi esposo preguntó en inglés y español. Explicó varias veces que es "Jack Daniels con Coca Cola" y Javier literalmente siguió haciéndose el tonto y repitió cada vez: "Ok... ¿Pero qué quieres? ¿Un mojito?", con cara de caca tratando de engañar a mi marido. Después de dar vueltas en círculos, mi esposo finalmente le dijo que nos hiciera lo que quisiera. Todo ese tiempo mi esposo mantuvo la calma pero estaba enojado y todos nos sentimos súper juzgados. Pero estábamos chinchorreando así que nos quedamos a tomar la bebida y mantuvimos la buena onda entre nosotros.
La bebida estaba ok... No es la mejor y era muy picante/mentolada, pero estaba buena. Creo que nos hizo mojitos con Jack Daniels, pero no tenía hojas de menta.
Pagamos y nos fuimos lo antes posible. Aún así dimos propina porque necesitaban buenas vibras.
Lástima que el personal y las vibras fueran pésimos porque el lugar está limpio y hermoso.

As soon as my husband, a girlfriend & I stepped foot in the door, Javier gave us an ugly look of disgust. He literally made us feel like we were not worthy of being there. We were dressed nice and casual, however my husband & I have a lot of tattoos. We were speaking Spanglish to eachother but Spanish to him (my husband & friend are Boriqua & I'm Mexican). We're locals not tourists, although it was our first (& now last) time there. I don't know if any of the above are the reasons why he instantly judged us upon walking in, but anyway I told him we just wanted a shot and he walked us to the bar area outside. We walked past a couple waitresses eating & even they were rude & awkward. Just bad vibes from the staff in general. The view in the bar area is AMAZING , but the service was worse there. My husband asked Javier for shots & Javier "acted" like he didn't know what that was (Maybe he wasn't acting ...? Who knows but he was super rude). My husband named other drinks & Javier mimicked him (wtf!) then turned around to his coworker & told him that "he doesn't know what this guy is talking about". My husband then asked him for Jack & Cokes instead & Javier proceeded to act like he didn't know what he was asking for. My husband asked in English & Spanish. He explained multiple times it's "Jack Daniels with Coca Cola" & Javier literally kept playing dumb & repeated each time, "Ok... But what do you want? A mojito?," with a caca-face trying to gaslight my husband. After going in circles, my husband finally just told him to make us whatever he wants. That whole time my husband kept his cool but he was pissed & we all felt super judged. But we were chinchorreando so we stayed for the drink and kept the good vibes going amongst ourselves.
The drink was ok... Not the best & it was really spicy/minty, but it was good. I thiiink he made us mojitos with Jack Daniels, but there was no mint leaves.
We paid & dipped asap. We still tipped because they needed some good vibes. Too bad the staff & the vibes sucked because the place is clean & beautiful. read more
