Came here for lunch with a friend and it did not disappoint! First off the view is to die for! If you can, get a table alongside the back where you can really take in the incredible views. We started off with a mojito and piña colada. Both were so delicious and hit the spot on a hot day. We decided to split a vaso de pulpo and the regular surtido. The pulpo was so delicious! It was fresh, refreshing and tender. I could have easily ordered this for myself and been completely satisfied. The surtido was equally as good, with sorullitos (my fav), bolitas de queso, and masitas de pollo & pescado. Since we didn't want a heavy lunch this was perfect because we could just pick at different things. Our server was super attentive and would check on us throughout the meal. This is a local favorite for good. They have excellent views. One thing I've learned dining in PR, everything is done at a lower pace. Be prepared to spend almost 2 hours eating at a restaurant. We came hungry and ordered 2 appetizers. We tried the shrimp empanadas and it was good but lacked a little on the filling. The carne frites were excellent and I enjoyed the sautéed vegetables on the plate it had great flavor. I ordered the grilled chicken with yellow rice and beans with tostones on the side. I didn't know the grilled chicken was served with a sauce and didn't really want it and it was already salty. I took off the sauce and ate the chicken because it already had plenty of flavor. The rice was on the salty side but the tostones had no salt and I was thankful. The food is okay in my opinion, there are definitely better spots. But it's a decent spot for convenience. read more

Great views, great food! You know a spot is good when it's full of locals. Every time we're visiting Rincon we tend to end up here and it never lets us down. Whether it's for a couple mojitos or a full dinner we've always had a great experience and this visit was no different. I absolutely loved my Mofongo. The stew it was in was delicious and the portion was massive. Traditional Spanish food at a great price. Most servers are bilingual in case you aren't fluent in Spanish! I'm sure we'll be back soon. PS - Some people mention slow service but get used to it - everyone is on island time here lol if you're in a rush don't sit down at a restaurant because they want you to take your time and enjoy yourself. I went to the sister restaurant pal 24 we all ooder our food I order a new York steak mw with potatoes after 45 minutes every body in the table had the food except me and my wife she order a red snapper fillet w mofongo gluten free wish she have to change to mahi mahi because the cook can not make it grill so I asked the waitress how long for our food and she stated that my steak was going to take another5 min really for medium well steak that I order 45 minutes ago but the my wife food was ready they delivery the fish bland no flavor and the mofogo was more like mangu this place I more like a joke than a steak house I recommend to send the cook to culinary school pronto. read more

Location is awesome, it over looks the ocean and it's open throughout (no windows). So you get to enjoy the view and feel a nice breeze from time to time. Place is large, lots of tables and staff is really great! Our server was great BUT this is where I'm torn. I give this place 3 stars because of the service. It was excellent BUT our server never came back until appetizers came out about 40 mins later (LOL). I crack up because the place was not crowded/busy. The other servers kept checking in on their customers but our server was no where to be found. He did get us drinks to begin, then took our appetizer order and that's it. When the appetizers came out we gave him our main course order. Here's our review: Appetizer: Wings with bone in and sauce on the side Cup of octopus salad. The wings had no flavor, tasted like oil, no seasoning and couldn't eat them. The server removed it from our bill without us asking. That was great. Cup of octopus was delicious except it had all the fat around it which is not how it's usually served at other places. So I removed it and ate it. Quite messy. Server did not give us napkins or plate so I had a bit of a mess going on and then pulled another server and asked for napkins and a plate. I was able to finish it but will not be ordering it again. Main course: Grilled chicken with garlic cream sauce and tostones. Very good. Churrasco with penne pasta in Alfredo sauce. Very good but churrasco chunks were very little. Drinks: corona with lime and passion fruit mojito. Mojito was delicious. Tables and chairs: we found them to be dirty, sticky with food. Like whoever cleans the tables didn't bother to look at the chairs. Food was on some of. Bathroom - smelled clean but no napkins to dry hands. No one was checking it either. Parking - lots of spaces but some can be tight to get in. But it keeps moving so you'll get a spot. I would return for drinks and view and some food items but is not my first choice. Passing through Rincón, we found this place and decided to stop by. It's in a nice location where you can see the ocean (and it was one of the places we saw open on a Monday) so yeah, this was the place to eat. Not a lot of people so we were greeted and seated quickly. I ordered a cheese burger for my meal. Yes, I know...this is not a place that would be known for its burgers but I honestly wasn't sure what I was in the mood to eat and with everyone staring at me, I just settled for the burger. Not the best obviously but it was decent. I liked the seasonings the burger patty had. And the bun was soft. The lemonade was alittle sour for my taste but I did like the presentation with the fruits in it. The rest of my table chose more typical Puerto Rican dishes and they all were raving how good their meals were. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly our food came out. We went here because of the view. The service is horrible, let's start from beginning to end. Got a table pretty quick the view is great. Took 10-15 mins before the server took out order, took 15 mins for the drinks to arrive, took another 15 mins for one appetizer. For the main dish took a little over an hour to arrive to our table. The food was cold! A the fish was dry as hell, the salmon was cold and the only thing that wasn't dry. My mom's dish was flooding with oil like the fish needs to swim! No I'm not even kidding we had to use 8 napkin to remove the oil, the worst part the the mofongo was dry, cold and hard! I wouldn't even recommend this to tourist! Wow! When in Rincon nothing says Puerto Rico like the variety of flavors and foods that can be found along the coast of this amazing Island! And if you really want to hear PR speak, Pa'l 22 knows all the right words! For beverages I normally like simple Rums but tonight tried the Pina Colada Mojito and Medalla. For dinner, I had the Fish soup for starter and topped it with The Pulpo ( Octopus) It was like a stew with onions peppers and seasoning and was amazing especially when served with the required rices and beans, wife had the grilled chicken with creamy cilantro sauce and mofongo and son had his daily serving of churrasco or skirt steak and like everything else we had here, it was perfect! Food is delicious, I've been here once before and both times ordered the garlic lobster which is delicious. Everyone at our table was happy with their entres(garlic shrimp and mofongo, lobster and mofongo, whole red snapper, empanadas). After making a reservation and arriving on time, we waited almost an hour before the waitress took our appetizer order! We were a large party, so she took our orders in two sections, but the first half received and finished their meals and the second half was STILL waiting for their food. Their food didn't arrive until 10 pm... 2.5 hours after we got there!! The manager never came by to check on us, the waitress disappeared for looking periods of time, and when all of this was brought to their attention they did NOTHING! No discount, not even an apology!
