Decided to try sixty vines and they did not disappoint! Boozy brunch with a co-worker and she ordered a flight while I did a glass of chalk hill and Martin ray. We ordered a bunch of shareables (mussels, fried chicken with caviar, bacon dates and lamb). My favorite was definitely the mussels. Maria was our server and she was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. It's a very vineyard/west coast feel inside this restaurant. Came here after work for some drinks and dinner, the restaurant was so cozy yet modern. It was a pretty big space, but by the time we left it was fully packed, so would reserve a table in advance. Our waitress was super friendly and kept checking on us, which we really appreciated. The best part about this place was the huge selection of wines they had, so if you're a wine lover would definitely recommend! I also got the Margherita pizza and hummus and both were delicious and hit the spot. Overall, it was a great place and will be revisiting for sure. read more

We had previously been to the Nashville location and were excited to see this added to Reston. We were not disappointed. We started with the hummus appetizer. This comes with both red beet and edamame hummus, so you are getting different styles from the chickpea norm. Both were very tasty and paired well with the accompanied crisped flatbread. Then we had the Santa Maria trip tip steak starter. It was perfectly med rare with a good wood grilled char on the outside. It came with a tasty chimichurri sauce. For main I went with the Atlantic salmon with shaved brussels sprouts, shallot, braised peppers & smoked paprika vinaigrette. We came in before the holidays and waited about 20+ minutes to be sat even with a reservation. The spot is trendy and open concept- but you get sat at tables with others so can be a bit awkward. The service was really bad the time we came in- took about 20 minutes to see the waiter, another 15 minutes to get water for the table and another 45 to get another water when we ran out of the small bottle. Our shared old fashion came out semi quick but they served our friends drink to another table so she didn't get her drink for 30 minutes until after she ordered. Food came out in waves and all of it was solid- the eggplant dip, the zucchini chips, the burrata were all fresh with great flavor. Would go again but hopefully the service picks up in the new year. read more

Beautiful new place in Reston where Clyde's used to be. It's a bit overpriced to drink as there's so many great happy hours at Reston Town Center. We were interested in the food. Food (4/5): they lost a start for inconsistent pizza. The spicy sausage pizza came really highly recommended so we gave it a try. The first time we had it, it was amazing. The crust was perfect and thin and crispy. The second time the middle was soggy and I was really disappointed. It seems that they forgot our order and it seemed rushed. We tried the crispy zucchini and it was just amazing!! Service (4/5): Mackenzie was awesome and a great server. Elmer was also amazing and was kind and efficient. We were charged for a drink we didn't order and I didn't see it until I returned home. Luckily, I had emailed myself a copy, emailed the restaurant and a few days later received a credit to my card. Loved this spot!!! It's new and what a concept for RTC. I know this place is definitely here to stay. I love the decor and vibe in here. Very minimalist and beautiful. The open floor space is amazing and so bright. Our server was fantastic! Recommended some options for us. He mentioned they have 60 wines ON TAP! How cool! And they switch some out according to the season. Obviously we got some wine and shared some bacon wrapped dates! So good, wish there were 4 so shared easily between 2 people. My friend ordered the shrimp pizza and surprisingly was really really good! Had a nice kick to it. I ordered the fig and prosciutto because that's my favorite combination. The honey, the fig, the prosciutto...just woah! And the crust was perfect! We didn't have room for dessert but I really wanted to try some of it. So yes, I will definitely be back soon! This review is regarding our meal on the patio the evening of 4/4/26. We were impressed that the staff picked up on my birthday, since I didn't mention it, and offered a complimentary dessert. Server Kelly M. took our order for a Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza and a glass of red wine (light meal). A different person delivered the salad and pizza to us, and the food was good. However, we never saw Kelly from the time she took our order until we finished eating. She then showed up with an empty wine glass, said the wine order did not get put in, and asked if I still wanted it. I said "no" since we were done with our meal. At that time, I requested the Cheesecake w/cherries for my complimentary dessert, a small box for pizza, and the check. More than 20 minutes later, Kelly brought a box and the check, but no dessert. She then asked if I "had decided" on a dessert. I repeated that I would like Cheesecake with cherries. After nearly 30 minutes there was no sign of our waitress and no dessert. We were not happy at this point, left cash payment on the table, and walked out. We have eaten at Reston 60 Vines multiple times. No complaints about previous visits; food and service were very good. However, due to the long waits, inattention, and mistakes by our server on this visit, we were very disappointed. We felt management should be aware of this so they can correct the problem. Stopped by with a few coworkers for lunch last week since they had just opened Sixty Vines a week or two prior. We were all excited to see what the restaurant had done with the old Clyde's spot. Upon walking it, we loved the new age-y vibes and the decor. There are ton of large tables for large parties--many of which were being shared with multiple groups since there aren't many smaller tables. There were a ton of wines on tap--as the name implies. We ordered the burger, the shrimp pasta, the cheese dip, the brussels, the zucchini, the burrata, and some charcuterie. Honestly, the food here is just ok. Their mocktails are great and I know my friends really enjoy the wine tastings. But none of the meals have been really that stand out--it's pretty much straight forward, simple, American Fare. This is a great place if you want to bring big groups for a fun night, but I would not recommend this for your foodie friends. Overall, still great service and great ambience! read more

I came here during a recent trip to Reston with my girlfriend. We arrived pretty much full and wanted to sip wine and watch a festival that was taking place outdoors in the Town Center. Well, they certainly have wine, but it's not cheap. In fact, I noticed that only one-third of the diners were drinking wine. My girlfriend opted for a wine flight and I had a mixed drink. Both were exceptional. We ordered a charcuterie board, that was also good. My experience dipped when I secretly told the waitress that it was my girlfriend's birthday, and asked that she put together a surprise dessert. I told her I'd pay for whatever she arranged and not to worry about cost. My girlfriend and I planned to go out for dinner later in the evening. Well, the waitress forgot about my request, which pretty much killed the reason I came here in the first place. The waitress tried to make up for it by taking $10 of the order, but that did not rectify damaging the moment. This is actually an interesting place. The wine is select and expensive; however, the food is less expensive and quite affordable. Everything I saw on tables looked great. The atmosphere is fantastic and we dined outdoors, where we were able to enjoy the festival taking place that day. Again, not many people were drinking wine. When we were leaving, the indoor dining room was jam packed. Oddly, there was a considerable number of young diners and it appeared they were kids whose parents paid for a safe experience. The kids were all dressed well, with equal manners. This isn't a place that you just fall inside. It takes some planning, and when we left at 5:50PM, the waiting line was quite long. My experience is what it was. Everything served was good and the restaurant is exceptional; the waitress just botched my request. I came here purposely to have a nice afternoon birthday celebration with ambiance. It appears their wine is priced to appeal to high taste, and more importantly, a packed wallet. We had the BEST experience last night thanks to our incredible server, Z. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely kind. She anticipated our needs before we even asked--our drinks were always full, the food came out perfectly timed, and every recommendation she gave was spot on. We were impressed with the food, service and ambiance! Everything we ordered was delicious - Frog's Leap wine (amazing!!!!), charcuterie board, Truffled Vineyard Fries (amazing!!!), Wood Grilled Shrimp (amazing!!!), Rigatoni, Pan Roasted Chicken, and Basque cheesecake. But again, what really stood out was the way Z treated us. Like friends instead of just customers. She has such great energy and made sure everything was just right which truly elevated the whole evening. Dining out is about more than just the food--it's the service that makes the night memorable, and last night's experience was absolutely 5-star because of her. Loved the open decor. I walked in a little late so didn't get the intro of the restaurant when my friends got it, but they did say we could get samples before ordering our drinks. We ordered a variety which enabled us to order the glass we liked best. Our waiter must have been new, because he kept rushing us. Hopefully next visit will be different. I had a reservation for inside at 545p but was hoping for an outdoor seating due to a concert at the Pavilion. So at check in I asked how long was the wait for outdoor, I was told an hour and a-half, which would be 715pm. I asked to be on the list for outside while we could eat dinner inside but was told I would have to give up my table inside for a 715p outdoor seating-and the manager would not budge and so since the concert starts at 730p, I put us on the outdoor list to wait an hour and ahalf. I got an email at 552p that Sixty Vines canceled my reservation. We thought bar crawl-then went to Passion Fish 6p, ate dinner and by 715, head back out to Sixty Vines for the outdoor seating, so we could watch Kevin Bacon's concert. 3 of us shared a bottle, ate light dinner because we were saving room for Sixty Vines for a couple more drinks, snacks & desserts... But to our dismay, we were told we would wait some more because it's a first come first serve and I see no one else was waiting, the reception was pretty empty and I told them there was a table outdoor that was unoccupied or recently vacated- they then give that table up to another group. I also felt Sixty Vines was preselecting folks because the first time we checked in at 545 with a reservation, another party -who walked in after us, was accommodated for outdoor seating-i'd hate to use any racial connotation but there was a hint of it in there--is only reason! I was highly disappointed of this once was Clydes, excited to try them; not only they lost a big dinner paycheck for 4, but that they also lost me as a potential repeat client given the way their inhospitality~simply unprofessional and ran like a zoo of a place! It was one of the worst experience we had checking in-restaurant could have had a better or fair system especially during special events...we were eventually seated outdoor on a community uncleaned table, dirty chairs and worst of all poor service! We waited for our snacks forever that they only brought it at the tail end of our second drinks and only after telling the server to cancel it, but she insisted it was coming and it was already on our check. Concert is only until 830p... We tried to enjoy seeing Kevin and hang on for his Footloose finale song but it was bittersweet! This review was my experience with the restaurant, and to me, Sixty Vines should rethink their hospitality across the board and not preselect people! Had dinner and I'm struggling a bit with my star rating... since it's opening week I'm going to be generous with a 4 star! Our dinner was early with a reservation at 5. Was crazy to see the transformation if the Clyde's space... open large room with the kitchen visible along the back wall. Lots of large tables. Unfortunate the carpeting removed as there was nothing to dampen sound. As the evening progressed and the room filled things got louder. We found it hard to chat. Your placement is the wine list... offering pours starting at a half glass or 2.5 ounces... in the corner is a QR code for the menu but we also had a copy on the table. Let's talk about the wines... the number of wines by the glass is truly amazing on one hand but I was disappointed that when I went to the QR code (https://www.sixtyvines.com/menu) they weren't listed there... two reasons... for some reading the tiny font on the placemat might be difficult... but more importantly I wanted descriptors ... yes I could have asked our waiter but my thinking if I'm directed to view the menu online this is a great time to point me to wines so I could learn more about them. I did find a list later at https://www.sixtyvines.com/tap-menu but again no descriptors. I googled as I was making my choices. So we order our first pour... and a board of 3 items. Lots of options to select from. We opted for a cheddar... a smoky blue... and a salami. All boards come with toasted pita, honeycomb, almonds... but those options may change. Major fail in that our board arrives before the wine! Sorry but they really should get you your drinks before any food comes out IMO. Seeing this happened we ordered a second pour before we ordered a more food. Oops the runner comes but with a wine I didn't order. Our server fixed the issue on the spot and as a nice touch left the wrong wine at no charge. Once fixed we ordered more food. We opted for the bavette steak. Again a fail on the online menu as it could have linked me to what cut that was... yes the waiter can answer but google came to my rescues. "flap steak, is a long, flat and tender cut of meat that comes from the bottom sirloin, near the flank steak. It is a lean cut with a long, thin shape and a rich, beefy flavor, very similar to the flavor profile of a flank steak". This was paired with a mushroom shallot confit, smashed fingerling potatoes and a nice sauce described as a, foie gras-zinfandel demi. There are lots more options on the menu for exploration... pizzas, sandwiches, shareable plates... plus desserts... unfortunately we were full so didn't investigate those options. Last fail is I had asked a question last week on their facebook page. Alas no response via messenger or on the comment I posted. So don't use that as a way to interact with the restaurant. read more

Today was my fourth visit to the Reston location. Mother's Day reservation, and we expected a crowd. We waited around 15 minutes to be seated, which was fine but frustrating because around five parties came in after us were seated immediately. I saw the hostess setting a third place setting at the end of one of the communal tables -- there were two empty seats (all the others were filled), so I guess my husband was going to sit in the server walkway aisle and we were going to be merged in (no gap, they filled all the rest of the seats) with a large party? Hostess seemed miffed when I pointed out my very tall husband would not be comfortable in that space and would certainly block the walkway. We were finally seated at a table of our own, which was nice and by the window. our server's greeting was fine, not warm or welcoming, and the food cadence was terrible. We'd been in the restaurant about an hour by the time we got any food at all. One of our two appetizers arrived with our entrees, the other came as we were about halfway finished with the meal. Water bottle wasn't replaced/refilled, and our mussels shell bowl was taken when we still had mussels to eat and was not replaced. Our food was good: mussels and zucchini appetizers, pork sandwich and a pizza, and strawberry French-ish toast (my daughter thought this was dry - it could have used syrup or more topping). Cost for our food, one cocktail and one mocktail was $110, plus tip. I struggle with liking this place. The food has generally been fair (recommend shareables, pastas and pizzas over the steak - my medium-rare order once was very overcooked), but the general tone here is one of indifference. The hosts and servers just don't seem to care about even trying to get it right. Their prices are reasonable and the wines/cocktails are lovely. Stopped in for a quite bite to eat post Yelp event and had a great time. Our bartender was really knowledgable, fun, and knew how to deal with a last minute pop right before closing. As the kids say...slay! We shared a few apps and really loved the fried chicken and caviar (a surprisingly large portion that was super crispy and light), santa maria tri trip, and wood fired pizza. The atmosphere was buzzing and their wine list on tap is incredible. I love restaurants that bring people together over delicious plates and great drinks, and Sixty Vines is one of them. Love this place! I'm already planning my next visit. After a Yelp event nearby at Paddywax, someone suggested here for wine and apps. They had me at wine! We went to the bar and tried some samples. Some in the group had been here, and they knew what they wanted. I'm a newbie and wanted to try it all. I didn't, obviously, but there's so much to try! They let you sample for free (not kidding). I ended up getting a glass of the frose. It was so good. We ordered a few food items to share. The steak with the chimichurri was really good. Shaunta (I'm sure I'm butchering her name) was great! The restaurant is an open space restaurant and it's so airy! I went with a girlfriend for brunch. I got one of their mocktails which was super delicious and she got an alcoholic beverage. Their French toast was so good I didn't need syrup! Service was great too as we weren't bothered as much. Plus we went when it wasn't that busy. Parking wasn't bad either although you have to park a little away from the restaurant. I was celebrating my belated birthday after being sick during my actual one (Libra Club)!! The ambience was fantastic! Our server, Samantha, was super friendly and knowledgeable, recommending great wine and food pairings. All the wines were excellent, but my favorite was the J. Bookwalter Dionysus Vineyard Riesling - White. The food selection was also impressive! To make it even more special, Samantha brought me a fluffy cheesecake with a candle--such a sweet touch! This restaurant is 100% worth your patronage. As there are so many new additions to Reston town Center, this modern clean and sustainable restaurant took the spot of the old Clydes. The old Clydes was very dark and moody, and the space has been completely transformed into one occupied by light and greenery. Upon walking in service was very prompt and went above and beyond. I asked for recommendations of what to order as the menu was pretty extensive with delicious offerings ranging from plant-based to meat centered apps and entrees. I was in the mood to try something new or at least something different than usual. This is was a pretty significant as this restaurant immediately builds confidence in having a great experience enough to maybe experiment with flavors or try something new. My best friend and I opted for a delicious shrimp appetizer with a spicy corn underneath. Our waitress also informed us that the menu is rotates often and items are prepared with local and seasonal ingredients. I also ordered the pork chop which was perfectly cooked not overcooked, not undercooked, and had a really delicious accompaniment of vegetables. I barely left anything on the plate...I fact I practically licked it clean!! The cocktail options were also delicious. They were able to prepare some thing for my friend who wanted a Mocktail and gave us samples of their non-alcohol spirits. Certainly options for every taste. We close the meal with their cold brew affogato. Truly one of a kind and absolutely delicious. The cake was moist and the cold brew to pour on top was a great Instagram worthy visual. This place is stunning! I love the aesthetic of light wood and greenery. Their long wooden tables are perfect for large groups. I went to a birthday brunch with 12 people and we had a splendid time here. The wine choices are ample and exquisite. They also had a unique variety of cocktails. They had frozen Aperol spritz which I haven't seen anywhere else! Everyone at my table was raving over the matcha martini! I had the salmon and bagel board, and I love how they presented it with all the ingredients on a wooden board so you could build it yourself. I also had the brunch sandwich. The egg, bread, and fingerling potatoes were cooked perfectly! I wish the bacon was crispy, but other than that, the sandwich was perfect.
