The room is big and has wonderful pink and gold decor throughout. They even have pink napkins already you can use. Round table mostly, with places where a stage can be set up and dance floors. The room can be sectioned off if you need a smaller space. They have drapery that make the place nice, also in pink to match the decor. During my second visit, I experienced the catering of Dynasty, which was OK. The were many servers who never stopped working. They were friendly and dressed nice. The food was always hot and never run out, even when I was sitting at the last table served. Many people came for seconds as well. We in line may have waited for serving items to be replaced / refreshed for a minute or two but it was not long. The food was ok. It was a brunch. Eggs and mashed potatoes had too much margarine in it. But the meats , bacon and sausage, were good and the breakfast potatoes were great. There cakes Amy highlights and I had three pieces! However, the ballroom did have some wear and tear that I seen on my last visit than I saw on the first. Maybe it's my "bride" eyes I have now right now. The chairs that are fabric based needed cleaning. At the first event I attended, they covered the chairs, which I would recommend to any bride having a wedding reception event here. The wood paneling around the room and service doors need to be replanted or sanded/refinished. Other than that, the place is keep up very nicely. If I lived in the Gary/Hammond area and needed to do a wedding in the area, I would choose the Dynasty, food and service was great. I would ask them their plans for fixing the wood doors and paneling prior and get a discount on chair covering. But I would come here again as a guest, for sure.

They were a bit parsimonious with the rolls and a basket of crackers (the latter was whisked away as soon as we finished the soup), but otherwise the portions were ample and the servers were genial and attentive. Afterwards, we had time to explore the gift shop and art gallery. The restrooms are immaculate. The theater has comfortable seating with generous legroom and excellent sightlines. Machine takes cash or you can can get a token at the club house. Grass area, roped off so you don't have new people teeing up 15 feet in front of where they should be. Well kept. The putting area is wonderful and can be found just behind the first tee box. Club house opens at 5:30AM in the summer so there are people hitting balls before work! Golf Pro - Matt - is amazing. Great with kids, gives lessons. The course is a 9 hole, executive course with a level of difficulty that is hard to find in NW Indiana. The course itself is narrow with lots of long marshy areas that will eat your ball. The elevation changes are fantastic and again, really rare for this part of Indiana. The course itself is the most well maintained in the area. 9 holes will cost you about $27 with cart. The ranger on the weekends is Wayne and he is such a wonderful, caring person. In passing, I told him I was looking for a specific type of golf ball and the next time I saw him, he had a bunch for me. Wow! The carts are electric and very smooth. Most of the leagues are during the week and in the AM so this is a great place for twilight golf as well. 9 holes typically takes me about an hour 20. Tips - The range is closed Wednesday afternoon until Thursday morning for maintenance. If you are just going to the range, park near the back of the lot.

So beautiful. It was a small wedding, maybe 70 people or less. The staff did a wonderful job; they served appetizers and plated dinner. Very attentive to guest's. Excellent bartender. My mom utilized a partnered dj, limo driver service and shuttle service. Then, their event coordinator, Eva. The coordinator, Eva, deserves her own review- but if you are in need of a coordinator, she went above and beyond for my mother.
