There is a lot of room to spread out your bean bag games and have a water balloon toss. They even have a ball field if your group wants to hit the ball around. The covered pavilion fits about a dozen picnic tables to have a place for everyone to sit and eat, and stay out of the sun or rain. They also provide a large built in barbeque stand at the pavilion. There are basketball courts for those that wish to play, and a playground for the young kids to have something to do while the oldsters just catch up. There is also a large building when you enter the park where they have restrooms (very clean with soap and dryers), vending machines, and water fountains. This is really a nice park and is well maintained and kept up. Give it a try.

They also have a lot of picnic tables to sit at and a covered seating area if you are coming with a large group of people. Currently they are redoing that area and it should be really nice when they are done. Redar park has a lot of events in the spring, summer and fall months. Just south of 30 between Burr and Cline it is easy to get to. Plenty of parking and is adjacent to the baseball fields. You can also catch some soccer games here. Lovely ponds attract birds and the playground keeps the kids busy for hours. This is even a Pokémon stop and you can catch some good ones here. If you are in the area and want to take a break I highly recommend this park.

The kids arrived and it was easy for them to get into the pool. Pool was very nice. It was heated which was an added bonus since it was only 60° We really appreciated the kiddie pool which was nice for the kindergarten tikes that were there. The day we were there, plenty of seats near pool. Amenities here are: bathrooms, showers, lockers (bring small lock), sandpit, safety vest, concessions stands. Cost is located on the website but can access summer family pass. I would give the facility 4 stars. Downsides here are inconsistency with time alloted and aggressive birds. They rushed the kids out. Once designated cabana time was over ...a manager said the kids had to leave or for pay the daily fee for the 1 remaining hour. This seemed so odd. It really made no sense. If you only have cabana for 2 hours and the kids are going to eat...then really deducts from actual pool time. Especially when we made kids wait after eating. We really felt that the staff wanted to leave early. The manager onsite that rushed us out was named Lindsey. I really encourage the city to look into this ...as there was not many families at the pool park at the time and it felt like the staff just really wanted to go early. If the kids can only swim during the alloted cabana time then may as well just go to a restaurant. Also the birds are extremely aggressive. They attacked three different people in our party. I mean they flew directly into my sister-in-law face. One bird flew into my hair and I saw another swope close to the face of a child. Not sure what the pool can do but be aware of this. I would come back here. If I pay the daily fee then would be no debate as to how long I can swim. All in all a nice pool. Plenty of parking and next to a skate park.
