We were lucky that we arrived just as a couple was leaving the bar so we were able to be seated. They were slammed! But the bartender didn't miss a beat! I could not believe it starting right with the apps! The burnt ends and slaw was amazing! The look of the Nashville hot chicken sandwich threw me off a bit but the flavor did not! I asked for a side salad instead of fries yet it came with fries by accident and I was surprised how good they were since I don't like Parmesan! Nice fresh hand cut fries with flavor that just popped! The food was so good I forgot to take a pic of all the food before it was gone! The menu is a perfect mix of fusion for two pages then two pages of just sushi!! The perfect mix with sports and bar feel on one side and diner vibes on the other. The service from all the ladies was top tier as well! This is a can't miss stop!

They describe themself as gay/queer bar in their own description, however, I (a man) was kissing another man and was told by the bouncer (who was wearing a pride bracelet) that we had to stop because it was making people uncomfortable. With the dance bar vibes and being a 'gay bar', it's wildly confusing that someone in leadership must be homophobic and could direct the bouncer to tell two gay men to stop kissing. For what it's worth, I've enjoyed the drinks that I've had here. But the bar clearly doesn't know what it wants to be...and based upon my experience, it certainly isn't a safe space for the queer community.

Was in town for work and decided to go here with some co-workers since it wasn't too far from the office and because it was Tini Tuesdays--$5 martinis--yes please--hooray for discounted drinks! Ok----so the sketchy meter was kinda high---considering it's next to a strip club---but meh---such is life. Didn't have any of the food, none of it looked that interesting---regular bar stuff. I wouldn't go here for food or ambiance...but discounted drinks...I'll take that!

They need to have a decent, preferably Michigan, beer on tap and a tasty burger. Classic Bar doesn't quite hit the mark but it wasn't bad. This place is fine for a once and a while stop but don't go in expecting a whole lot.

Instead, their table was in the far back--the worst spot in the venue. When they called ahead, the venue assured them the VIP package included special perks. However, every table received a bottle and pizza, and most people entered the venue for free. When they politely inquired about the promised items, the manager rudely responded with, "Well, what do you want?" in a snotty tone, followed by, "We're a small business." She took two drinks off the bill. One of their tablemates left before the pizza and drinks were served, which didn't happen until around 10:30 PM, even though the event started at 7:30 PM. It was clear they forgot the baskets entirely. To make matters worse, the manager was intoxicated, making the situation even more awkward. While the band was amazing, this experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend purchasing tickets from this venue. Again band was amazing. They get a star for them.

On top of that, I watched customers walking behind the bar and hugging on the bartender like it was a private hangout instead of a place of business.
