I definitely don't think they're sketchy. Like "Matt C." seems to. Matt may not have ever been anywhere actually sketchy... I mean come on - this place is full of brand spankin' new "pleather" couches and flat-screen televisions... What's sketchy about it? That said. It's over priced. They have nicer seating than most. And offer some cool all glass hookah pipes but it's not worth the 20% boost in cost (compared to Blue Midnight, which is next door). One other complaint: I hate it when Hookah bars line the front of their store space with "other" smoking paraphernalia. I'm not a prude or anything but smoking a hookah pipe is equivalent to smoking a pipe or a cigar. That said I think there is a real marketing flaw in lining the store with expensive bongs and marijuana pipes. It projects a crap message: that hookah smoking is equivalent to smoking other things; I'm fine with pot smoking but it's a crap marketing move and it'll alienate some of your clientèle. Case in point: this might be the reason Matt C. describes the place as "sketchy," I don't know him so that's just my educated guess. All in all: it's okay. read more

Kinda sketch, but I somewhat expect that from a hookah lounge. Looking like it was decorated by a freshman who had access to a large amount of black-lights and bonded leather sectionals, Six Lounge has a comfortable, albeit "youthful," atmosphere for smoking shisha. They have a large selection of flavors to choose from, and tend to be attentive in adding coals. They additionally have a small selection of drinks to choose from, but no external drinks may be brought in. If you like smoking shisha enough, they even sell pipes and tobacco for you take home. While not my favorite place in town, it is opened late to appease the bar crowds. Since many people don't stay out too late on weekdays, this makes Six Lounge a decent place to study at night. read more

They don't instruct you on how to order. Make you pay a cover on top of the overpriced hookah. Kinda mediocre

Six is okay. The hookah selection is really good. Lots of choices, a wider and more exciting selection than the other places in town. However, the customer service was all of the place. Some of the guys were really friendly, some not so much. At the beginning of the night we were practically ignored, had to find someone and ask for more coals but as the night progressed the attention became better. There was no reason for such minimal customer service though since there were practically more employee than patrons during that time. I would go back but because the shisha was very good and because the options in town are limited. read more

If you google it you'll find that they claim to be open till 4am. On yelp they say till 3am. We ubered there last night, got there at 2am and they didn't let us in because they were closed! So upsetting! read more

The service here blows. It took 20 minutes for them to bring it out. It's more expensive than other lounges and they also charge you for bubbles. Go to a different hookah lounge, this place sucks read more

EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO TO SAYLIS, Frandor Shopping Center, 300 N Clippert St #16, Lansing, MI 48912!! they will treat you so much better and doesn't have a limit on how many people smoke one hookah! SIX LOUNGE WAS HORRIBLE no one should go. They have a stupid rule that I never heard of after going there before that you have can only have two people to a hookah or pay an extra $2 per person per hookah, so if you got two hookahs only two people can smoke. I ordered a fruit top the came and dropped off a regular top and refused to give me the right top after i payed $18 instead of the $15 for the regular top!!The staff are extremely rude about the whole situation, There product is extremely weak and the taste was horrible, . They are constantly bother you and not in a "they should get a good tip way". Couldn't have a good time with them always in your face!! DO NOT GO TO SIX LOUNGE!! The place is filthy believe me i use to like it till they pulled this shit on me! I was warned and didn't listen, Everyone should stay with SAYLIS, thay have really good service, the hookah is better, the music is better, and the hookah is cheaper!!
