The food was pretty great, I had the lamb kabob platter and the lamb was by far my favorite part. Absolutely phenomenal. Service was pretty good not too bad nothing too special. The rice was pretty dry and flavorless as seen in other reviews but when u mixed it in with the hummus it was pretty good and it comes with a good amount of hummus and pita bread which is great. Had some spicy Jalapeños and onions, not too bad. Overall the place is definitely a good place to eat at. Prices weren't too bad. I don't get to try the baklava but it sounds amazing. I'd say it's a pretty good place to go to and I live up the street so I just walked but it's convenient and quick. Definitely give it a try. read more

Actually a hidden gem in ways....not a huge menu but tasty and always on point. Awesome baklava and kabob. Get the baklava. Oddly, their burger is decent as well. Simply tastes like a fresh-made, grilled burger Dad would throw on your plate at a picnic. Prices are right for what you get. I'm a fan. I'll order delivery from them anytime and enjoy constructing my pita/ meat n' rice n' salad mix. Healthier than fast food crap and service is fairly attentive and quick, for both pick up or delivery. I would definitely recommend Mihkos! The couches were very comfortable, the hookah was great, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent! It's a great atmosphere to just sit and chill for a while. My only disappointment was that there was dance music playing. From the time I placed my order to the time it actually arrived, an hour and 30 minutes had gone by. When I first called after about 45 minutes, I was told it would be another 10 minutes. 30 minutes later and still no food so I call again. They tell me another 5 minutes at most, apologize and hang up. 5 minutes go by and I get a call from their driver. He proceeds to tell me that he'll be there in about another 15-20 minutes and he was delayed from a delivery in East Lansing (I live on the west end of Lansing). Basically what that says to me is they made and packaged my food, sent it with the delivery driver to East Lansing, then all the way back to me on the other side of town. This ties into the next problem... By the time the food actually arrived, everything was room temperature, barely warm. The driver hands me the bag of food and starts to walk off and I mention that I was also supposed to have a drink...which was an extra $4. He looks confused and tells me all he can do is give me the $4 back for the drink since the kitchen is already closed now (since it's been over an hour and a half). I couldn't believe it. Waited all that time getting the run around, paid for lukewarm food and they couldn't manage to send the drink... Safe to say I will never order from here again and I will absolutely steer anyone I know clear of this place. Absolutely waste of time and money. read more

Okay, so some of this is my own fault, when I saw that they served their falafel with mango sauce I should have avoided them like the plague, but they described their food as Iraqi at several places, and while I'm well acquainted with the typical Lebanese stuff and spent four years with an Egyptian roommate, I was thinking this might be something new. Well, it was. I ordered delivery, so I'm willing to give a little leeway on the fact that the food was cold (actually cold, as in below room temperature, despite arriving before the delivery time), but the shawarma was severely under-seasoned, and the rice it was on had probably only been seasoned with a little yellow food coloring. As for the sides, there was some raw onion, some turnip "pickles" with zero flavor (not even vinegar or salt, the stuff I made 8+ months ago that's lodged in the back of the fridge undoubtedly has more flavor), and some hummus that manages to have no flavor of tahini, garlic, or lemon. My roommate once accused me of making poor man's hummus when I shorted the tahini. This was far worse. As for the falafel... one bite of that mango sauce was enough for me to go make some tahini sauce, but that really wasn't enough to salvage the falafel. They say theirs has garlic, parsley, and cilantro, but there wasn't a speck of green on the inside, and the only garlic I was getting was from my tahini sauce. If you're craving middle eastern, try Sultan's. They have the occasional miss, but are pretty good (though they would never compare to the stuff my roommate would bring back that his grandmother had made). read more

When I asked for a refund they told me "no" they also kept the tip I left the driver. Their solution was offering me a discount on my next order... Why would I order from you again??? read more

Review is of food via delivery, not the restaurant itself in terms of atmosphere, etc. Delivery took three hours -- not kidding or exaggerating! Food was substandard, especially the rice, salad, and hummus -- in other words, the very most basics were not good, which does not bode well for anything else on the menu. The lamb shish-kabob dinner also was a horrible value. A normal-sized carry out container one-third full with three or four one-inch cubes of lamb, some terrible rice, and a tablespoon of bad hummus. Would never order this food again. Although I called several times about the lateness of my order, they just lied to me about its status (oh, it's on its way, when it was not delivered for another hour and a half!) and did nothing to make up for the horrible service. Waited 25minutes for my food and the man who brought it out to me offered me a refund, however I already payed with CC. No one knew how to refund CC and the owner came out who barely knew english stated I didn't deserve a refund after someone had already told me I did.
