I have worked for Sitters Unlimited part time as secondary employment and full time as my primary employment. I currently work full time as a nanny with a wonderful family I was linked with via Sitters. I love the flexibility and that I can decide when and how much I work. I also like the fact that families can specify a sitter so that you can make long term relationships with kiddos. If I've ever had any issues/concerns they have always been supportive and professional addressing the matter immediately. I love the service! We have been hiring child care through Sitters Unlimited for over 5 years. Everyone who has come to watch my kids has been professional, caring and fantastic with my kids. I have always been able to get a sitter and have used the service for weekends and overnights. It is worth every penny to not have to rely on family or teenagers from the neighborhood! I appreciate that everyone is background checked and talks personally with the owner. Owner Ami Jones has always been available to help with any special requests and understands the needs of busy families! Hi! I have been a sitter/PT nanny with Sitters Unlimited for nearly 6 years. As a single mom, it has provided me extra income to tackle unexpected expenses and, at times, enough work to pay all my monthly bills! My favorite parts of this experience are the families and the flexibility. As a sitter, I can pick n choose which families I want to work for (I specialize in infant/toddler day sits and any age - overnights). i have used Sitters Unlimited for 1 1/2 years now. I am a single working mom of two children, and Sitters has been an absolute life saver! Ami runs a great company. My children have loved all the sitters we have had, and I'm able to request their favorites whenever I set up a sit. The sitters are flexible, and have adjusted their times to meet my needs. Ami has also helped me out in a pinch on several occasions, going above and beyond to make sure my sit was covered. I have been with Sitters Unlimited since 2008 while working part time and have been very satisfied. I have been with my current sitter through the agency for 4.5 years and she is like family. I have only had 1-2 sitters that weren't a good fit, but in those cases it was more of a personality mismatch with the kids than a bad experience. I always feel comfortable and that the kids are in good hands. I work on a flexible schedule but often need to make adjustments due to travel and Sitters Unlimited is always there in a pinch to make adjustments to my needs. Definitely recommend! read more

We've used sitters for a couple of years now, and I like it so much more than care.com! Unlike care, I always know what I'm paying, and I don't have to do any of the communicating! It's all taken care of through the website, or the lady who is in charge, Ami! She's been incredibly helpful when we need someone last minute, (which is often lol), and is always in touch almost immediately!
